Based on what we know about Magadon Kest, Cambions have two souls, or at least two half souls.

It’s unclear whether devils can use Clone, but we know mortals can.

If Raphael using Blackcloak’s expertise in contingency and life magics, likely Clone, then it’s possible only the *human/human half* of his soul survived. (If anyone *could* make it so a devil could use Clone, though, it would be Blackcloak)

Meaning Mephistopheles ate either Raphael’s devil soul/soul half, or he ate a husk that was vacated upon Raphael’s death.

So, my point is, there’s a good chance the below is possible.
