There are 11 items total, for now. we will be expanding very soon, adding a mini simlish comic book set, and a simlish vinyl records/cds set. We are very excited, but wanted to upload this one for now for those of you who have been waiting!

Brindleton Public Library

 A functional library, based off the one I went to as a kid. BGC, built on a 40x30 lot. Thank you to all the CC creators!

Although I did like the museum originally on this lot, it is also a lovely place for a library/internet café! There are tons of places to get a coffee and sit and read, as well as computers and a special area for the kids :) Although this is a small business lot, it could definitely be changed into just a normal library.

The library 📚 Part of a larger build.

The staircase is functional with the wall mounted bookshelves from the Book Nook Kit! They also do a good job hiding the railing glitch you get with staircases placed against a wall 😜

Lord Windenburg's Library

Lord Windenberg is a bit of a boor, and has questionable fashion sense … .but his library is sublime!! Located on the main floor of the family estate, the library’s dark oak walls and floors serve as the perfect backdrop to the antiques and ancient tomes that have been handed down through the family for centuries. Tall windows flood the library with natural light to brighten the room and highlight the magnificence of the beautiful room. Sitting in front of the splendid fireplace with a glass of cognac and your cigar, it is the perfect place to get lost in your favourite book.

Rosary Teahouse and Library Public Library, $70k, 20 x 15 Placed in Britechester (Mossy Lane) An old Britechester building turned into a small quaint library and teahouse for studying, a much more quiet atmosphere and less crowded then the usual public libraries. Downstairs has a small tea and coffee bar to try and help keep your caffeinated needs up, with a back patio if being in the sun outside to cram is your sims vibe. Upstairs has the computers, work table, and a nook lounge for bookworms and a small balcony with a chess table. Learning at a snails pace is beneficial! With a scone or two can't hurt either.

It is situated in Windenburg and has a cafe, bookstore and a small farmer’s market. I’ll be posting the cafe and bookstore separately . I really wish this build can function in this way. Hopefully The Sims Team will give us multi-functional lots soon🤞🏻

THE LIBERTY LEE LIBRARY | NO CC

Hey Simmers 👋

This is a shell challenge hosted by VelvettB, due 26 June. As you could probably already tell by the title, I chose Liberty Lee as my townie and I made her a Library. This Library features a chess courtyard, a picnic tree, a little cafe, a fireplace corner, bathroom, computers and an awesome third floor space themed room with books and computers as well!

Botanical Garden and Library

I made a greenhouse that also functions as a library! I recently got the greenhouse kit and I absolutely love it so I built this lot with some additions of eco lifestyle, blooming rooms, and real of magic.

The idea from the start was to have a big center tree growing from the middle and having it viewable from an open 2nd floor but HOO BOY did I struggle with this tree. At first, I wanted to use the new base game tree with the fairy lights and tiny door but I had some personal issues with it.

Since that item is a tree, it changes with the seasons and sways in the wind. Which is a pretty odd effect to have while indoors. I really, really liked the tree but it kept putting me off. So instead, I decided to go with the movie night stuff tree because it's not a tree- its a light. Therefore, it doesn't sway with wind and it doesn't change color with the seasons. Which ended up working much nicer with this build.

The downside being... I had to downsize the tree and the little flames in the lanterns don't size down with it. I can't win.

Let's just pretend they're fireflies or something, kay? ≡(▔﹏▔)≡
