Introduction:🗒️

Welcome to the Tragic Tales of Life Legacy Challenge. This legacy challenge is a realistic story and goal-oriented legacy challenge. That revolves around real life tragedies and drama that happen. This is a more simplified written and less heavy on goals legacy challenge. This legacy challenge was inspired by the Crybaby Whims Legacy Challenge and the Joy of Life Legacy Challenge! I hope you enjoy this tragically fun legacy challenge!

Before You Play:🔞

This legacy challenge is for players who are eighteen and older. This legacy challenge covers heavy topics. That could be triggering or uncomfortable for some people. This legacy challenge uses most of the packs. And also, is a modded legacy challenge so you can’t play it on console. But I have other legacies that are un-modded so if you want to check them out! I would really appreciate it. I hope you enjoy the legacy challenge!

Each generation will specify if there are required mods or not! Here are some mods that I recommend to enhance your gameplay!

The Tragic Tales (The Generations)☠️

 Gen.1 Single Parent Who Has a Drinking Problem👩‍👦🍺

You're someone who hoped for a beautiful love life like the one you always saw on tv. But that wasn’t your reality. You fell in love with the wrong person and now you're stuck. Living alone with your child/children that reminds you of your tragic romance. You try to pick up the pieces and work a regular job as a teacher but that still was tiring. So after a long day of reprimanding kids you come home to your own child/children. As a person who didn’t want children it’s rough so when they're asleep. You start to sip on alcohol and it becomes a habit. After a while you start to realize you have a problem and try to fix it. To at least become a better version of yourself for you!

As a Young Adult-Elder

-Live in an old apartment or apartment building.

-Be in the Education Career and reach level five of the career.

-Max the Research and Debate and Mixology Skills. 

-Have a child with someone you fall in love with and become a single parent.

-Have a bad relationship with the other parent.

-Start drinking once you become a single parent. (with the basemental drugs mod.)

-Have a negative relationship with your child/children.

-Decide as an Adult to quit drinking for yourself.

Gen.2 Neglected Child As an Adult Develops Anger Issues🚫😡

As a child you were neglected while your parent got buzzed. Through the pain of feeling unwanted you grew up bitter. At everyone and everything you started to have tantrums on people. That’s when you knew you needed to direct your anger into a career. So you become a Detective throwing criminals in the slammer. Which made all your rage fade away and you start to become a great cop, one that people admire. So much so you get asked out by someone who likes your uniform. You date and marry them, have kids. Life seems good till they realize what a hot head you are! They love you but you severely trouble them but you both stay together. You try to keep calm for them and your kids but your past precedes you.

Traits: Hot Headed, Nosy and Ambitious

Gen.3 Art Student That Gets Into an Abusive Relationship🎨💔

You grew up in a home full of anger, but you refused to subdue that behavior. So when your parent got mad you shut down and kept quiet. To avoid having problems but as time went on that began to stress you out. So you focused your negative emotions into art. Which led you to graduate high school and get to go onto college. As an art student your world was filled with color and nude models. Whose bodies were art and you painted them beautifully. One day though you never knew could change everything in a terrible way. You meet someone who you think understands you. You date them after a while their true colors shine through and they're dark! You both argue day and night and to not start a fight. You let them seduce you till they get tired and pass out next to you. Your grades start to suffer so you start to avoid them to do what’s best for you. But all that gets thrown out the window when you find out you're going to be a parent! Your narcissist partner reels you back in because of the baby. So you stay but you fear for you and the baby/babies life! Once the baby arrives you make your escape with the baby/babies. Leaving your abusive ex behind you, move into a small home just right for you and your baby/babies. Then you go back to college and finish and become a freelance painter.

Gen.4 Geek Tries to Fit In and Becomes a Pill Popper👾💊

You're a true geek as they call you in high school. You learned from your parents horrible love life. To steer clear, not let raging hormones get the better of you! But yet after the popular kids called you out. You start to think differently you want to show them. You can be a true party animal! So you stop caring about school so much and hangout with the jocks! They show you how to be bad but still be adored! You all go to the nightclubs and sneak past the bouncers at bars. Get drunk and taking pills not prescribed  partying all night! One day they give you a makeover to make you look like one of them. You feel weird but excited taking it all in! Before you know it you're living the teenage dream! But it all ends when you find out that you/person you slept with. One wild night is pregnant! You never planned on your high school years turning out this chaotic! But now the popular teens left you spreading gossip about the pregnancy. So you're left on your own pregnant/going to be a teen parent. What happens now you stop being this pill popper and be yourself again. Starting a podcast about all the pill problems and teen parent struggles you went through. Now it’s up to you if you go and find someone but you have overcome so much at a young age!

-Become a Teen Parent 

-Don’t do well in high school after you become a teen parent!

-Become enemies with your popular friends after you become a teen parent! 

As a Young Adult-Elder

-Decide to quit doing pills and go to rehab

-Make money being a Podcast Host talking about your experience you had as a teen having a drug addiction, being a teen parent and being bullied.

-Reach level Five of the Podcast Host career

-You can decide if you want to date and get married when you're a Young Adult and older or not!

Gen.5 Public Health Person Goes Crazy from a Disease Outbreak🥼🦠

(Inspired by Covid 19 pandemic.) 

You have always been a germaphobe but now you're making it through something terrible. You go into the medical field thinking it will be great you’ll help save lives. Well as a Public Health person the whole world's health rest’s on your shoulders. Now that there's a virus spreading you seek shelter in your home. Only going out with a mask you’re an philanthropist person this is not the way you hoped to spend. Your Young Adult life but now you're in charge of finding a way for this disease to be cured! Through all the testing in the lab and multiple reports coming in of deaths. It becomes too much for you to bear so you quit your job. Staying home becoming stir crazy from no social interaction. Suddenly you find that you made the worst mistake of your life. Quitting on all these people who can be saved from the outbreak. So you take care of yourself paint and do other hobbies. Then get back to the daily wear a mask save a life. After a couple years of research your the one that finds a cure! You're the hero and now everyone wants a picture with you! But you stay humble just happy you were able to help. You settle down after it’s all over with one of your fellow Public Health workers. You get married and have kids. But your job never ends by making sure you, your family and the public will be safe from future outbreaks!

-Max the Writing and Logic Skills and Reach level five in any hobby skill such as painting. While your sim quits their job and goes stir crazy at home.

-Have your sim wear a mask whenever they go out. 

-Temporarily quit your job then regret it and join the career again.

-Become a Two Star Celebrity for curing the world of the disease.

-Meet, Date and Marry a fellow Public Health person.

-Have at least three kids (Have all of them wear masks to keep germs away.)

-Donate to Charity three times

-Volunteer at least five times in your lifetime.

Requirements:

You can choose to play Never Get Bored Legacy Challenge first. Just play this one, or both the choice is yours! This legacy is a modded legacy challenge but there will be an unmodded version. Also, most of the packs are used in this legacy.

As a Young Adult join the Professional Athlete career 

Never Marry 

Have a child from a threeway. (Wicked Whims Mod Required)

Be an okay parent and have a good relationship with your child/children.

Goals: 

Live in Evergreen Harbor or San Myshuno in a Business/Residential Lot.

Have your sim have Hypertension and Anxiety (Cheat this with the Adeepindigo mod for story purposes.)

Max the Tattooing Skill 

Get robbed and marry that person to get money.

Have a baby with the robber once they move in.

Have at least one child

Have a bad relationship with your Robber spouse.

Live in Oasis Springs or Strangerville

Be in University in any degree you want. Go to college while living at home. 

Join the Fast Food Employee Part Time Job

Fall in love with a sim with the Clubber Trait.

Drink and Smoke with your partner. (Basemental Drugs Required)

Drop out of University

Reach Level 5 of the Cooking Skill.

Have issues and break up with your partner. Switch Lovebug Trait to Gloomy. 

Go to Rehab for your smoking and drinking. (Basemental Drugs Required) 

Develop the Single and Loving it Lifestyle

The Challenge:

Welcome to The Lonely Hippie Challenge! Are you looking for a live off of nothing challenge? That’s not boring rags to riches that is fun and different? Then this challenge is the one for you! The goal of this challenge is to be a hippie who wants to enjoy life find a lover! But they struggle with shyness. So, they stay in their tiny home. They built themself play guitar, smoke weed and make craftables. Till they complete certain goals. Then find the courage to get over their socially awkwardness. To end up finding their soulmate! I hope you enjoy this challenge. Let me know if you do! By using the hashtag #sims4lonelyhippiechallenge and tagging me @storytellerwhims! 

Rules:

No cheating money or skills etc. only cheat money to zero to begin the challenge!

Dress your sim in cheap looking hipster clothing. That are vibrant colors. 

Your sim must be a Young Adult and have the Socially Awkward Trait. Also, the Soulmate Aspiration. Give them any other traits you want! 

Complete all the goals to meet your soulmate! You can’t have any romances till you complete all the goals! 

Enjoy the challenge and living the lonely hippie life! 

Mod Requirements:

In order to have your hippie sim smoke and sell weed. You have to use the Basemental Drugs mod. Which is an eighteen plus mod. But it’s not required for you to play and complete this challenge. I would recommend using it though because it makes this challenge, A lot more fun to play!

Goals:

Start out with zero simoleons, a guitar and a bong! (Bong is from the Basemental Drugs Mod) In any world that you want.

Sell and smoke weed for money to help you get by! (If you use mods you can do this.) 

Play for tips in the park and other public lots.

If not then you can dumpster dive for things to sell. If you're not doing well money wise. 

Build your tiny home make it look very old and hippie chic!

Max the Guitar and Weed Dealing Skills (if your using mods max the weed dealing skill) Then max any of these other skills Painting, Gardening, Handiness, Knitting or Juice Fizzing.

Have a pet a cat or dog a hamster or fish is okay too! 

Make at least three friends to become less awkward. Once you do change your trait from Socially Awkward to Outgoing!

End Goal:

Meet your lover and have children

Have at least 10K simoleons

I’m so excited to announce I’m writing another legacy challenge! It’s called the Never Get Bored Legacy Challenge!! It is a modded legacy that is made so that you won’t get bored of the sims 4!! Each generation has some sort of drama and a small story that you have to decide what happens next!! I’m still writing this I’ve written a couple generations so far! Intro to the Extended Edition:

This is the Extended Edition of my original challenge. The Storyteller Whims Legacy Challenge which you play before moving onto this one. This Extended Edition is a bit harder it has an extra five generations. And is more realistic fiction then the original challenge was. Each generation there will be goals, a storyline and color you will follow. But you can add any extra drama etc. you want too this challenge is meant to be fun not stress. This is a modded challenge so there is some required mods but not many. I hope you enjoy this extended edition of the legacy challenge.

Gen.11 Alien Who Wonders About Where They Came From

Storyline: 

You were raised by two very different parents a human and an alien. You got your alien parents genetics because you're an alien yourself. You grew up in Oasis Springs a pretty nice town, very different than the difficult one your parent grew up in. Your parent grew up in Strangerville during an apocalypse and managed to save the town. You are lucky your parents raised you in a better town. But you feel you're missing something, your other parent talked about their home planet. It made you curious about your parents home and about space what else is out there. As a kid you were obsessed with space and everything aliens. Your parents told you had to hide your alien form around humans so you did. But you hated it, when you were at school kids made fun of your alien obsession. They teased you and you had to sit alone at recess, till one day a nice kid sat with you on the swings. You didn’t feel alone anymore it made you happy and you two became friends. High school came around you both had secrets that you didn’t tell. But your friendship was great besides those things. You two hung out after school all the time, watching fantasy movies laughing at them. You thought you were the only one who thought movie fiction was funny till you met them. You both graduate high school and you sadly go your separate ways. It was hard for you but your family is there to support you. You move out of the house and move into a nice house not that far away from your family. You decide it’s time to go after your dream of exploring space and become an astronaut. You still hide your real identity from your fellow human astronauts, but you feel excited to explore space and meet aliens like you. You become a great astronaut, go on many adventures in space and fall for a fellow astronaut. You both date for a while then when you felt comfortable enough to show them your true form. They run they were scared to be with an alien and had unrealistic fears of them. You are heartbroken so you run off to Glimmerbrook for a walk to clear your head. Their while walking having tears come down your face. You run into your childhood friend who you parted ways with after high school. You both rekindle your friendship and date while dating you tell them you're an alien. They accept you and love you anyways because they tell you they are a spellcaster. You two date then get married move to Glimmerbrook and have a kid/kids. As a child you wondered about where you came from and what space was like. You got to explore it and find out but you achieved so much more than you imagined. You have a nice supernatural life with your partner, and your family and never feel alone again.

Gen.12 A Spellcaster Who Hates Magic and Gives Up Their Powers

Storyline: 

You grew up with two supernatural parents one who is a extraterrestrial and the other a witch/wizard. Your parents taught you to embrace your weird self even though society says it’s bad to be a supernatural being. So you spend most of your childhood trying to embrace your unique powers. But you aren’t  at all into magic like your parent or space like your other parent. You just wanted to be ordinary go to school have friends live a “normal” life. As a kid you hangout by yourself because of having to hide your powers from humans. You start to develop a love for art and craft anytime you have time too. Your parents still try to encourage you to practice magic but instead you draw. As a teen your parents try to get you not to go to public school so you can stay home learn magic. But you insist on going so they let you have a hard time adjusting. But enjoy high school you make a couple friends. But that’s it because of being scared of people finding out your a spellcaster. You start sneaking out at night when your parents think your studying magic. You sneak off to hangout with your friends and end up accidentally showing you have powers. Your friends run in terror and your not able to control your powers so you accidentally strike one of your friends. It injured them but it scarred you and turned you away completely from magic. You run home and hide in your room your parents aren’t happy you snuck out. But they make sure your okay you tell them you hate magic you always have. That you want to be an artist and be normal but that you are scared to go to school now. So your parents homeschool you again like they did when you were a kid. You finish school and leave home and set out to try to get rid of your powers. You move into a small home in windenburg and start your job as a painter. You love your job but you are always nervous that what happened with your friend will happen again. So on your days off work you travel to the magic realm to search for a way to be rid of your magic. One day you meet a sage named Morgyn, and they are nice and help you become human. Your human now and you can’t believe it you rush home. To paint and live your normal life but you run into someone on the way. Who catches your eye and immediately you feel sparks fly. You and them hangout become friends and then date it feels like love. But they tell you and them can’t be together and they leave you. Your left in shambles and heartbroken so you work on your career and try to move on. But you can’t get them out of your head and so you call them. They meet up with you and they are sorry but explain to you why they did what they did. They are a vampire and it’s frowned upon for a vampire to be with a human. You tell them you don’t care that you love them and you both get back together. Get married and have at least one child and live in forgotten hollow. But you still live your newly human life and travel wherever you like. Selling your artwork and being a painter, like you dreamed as a kid. You were against having your supernatural powers but the weirdness of love found you.

Gen.13 Unlucky Punk Who Becomes A Famous Metal Head

Storyline:

You grew up living in a dark gloomy place filled with bloodsuckers. One of your parents is one and the other a human who was a spellcaster. In a way you relate with both even though your human you like wearing dark punk clothes. Just like your vampiric parent and your creative like your human parent. As a kid you kept to yourself barely spoke to your parents or any vampire kids around. You stay in your room playing the violin, which is one of your favorite instruments. In school you did your own thing sitting writing deep depressing music. Kids made fun of you for your dark manner and bullied you it bothered you so much. That you needed to go to therapy, your parents were both very worried about you but were scared for you to go. So you didn’t they just decided it was best you take a break from school. So you spent that time writing songs and playing violin. Soon it was time for you to return to school. The bullying continued to get worse so much so you didn’t go to school. Your parents tried to get you to change your mind but you didn’t want to go. Your human parent understood what that was like so they didn’t make you. As a teen you got so tired of life in a town where you didn’t belong somehow. You decided to leave home early and moved into a trailer home in Del Sol Valley. There you played guitar another instrument you love for some tips. You started playing your own songs and got noticed by a lounge owner. You got a job as a entertainer at their lounge you played your songs but they didn’t fit the vibe. So they fired you continue to play for tips out on the street, while doing that you meet a cute rebellious guy/girl. You go out with them at a club and have a casual hookup nothing serious. After a few times of being lonely on the streets jamming you call them. You both end up dating and soon you/they  find out you/they are pregnant. You both get into a huge fight about the baby, so you both decide to put it up for adoption. You both thought that would help your relationship so on a whim you get engaged and married. Turns out your partners dad owns a record label, so he/she gets you signed by their dad. You join the entertainer career once more and have great success. You become a famous metal head adored by lots of rebellious people. Your partner and you decide to move to a bigger place. Filled with your awards and records you’ve produced everything seems like a dream. But you cut your parents out of your life entirely was it worth it maybe. Your partner/you gets pregnant. You keep it this time but your both not good parents. So you hire a butler to watch them while you and your partner are doing whatever you want. Soon you and your partner fight even more then before and get a divorce. They left you nothing but the kids and their dad drops you from his label. Your very unlucky you get a bad reputation and are forced to get a run down house. You may have made it as a metal head but your reputation as a punk ruined it all.

Gen.14 A Neglected Child Moves To The Countryside And Finds Tranquility 

Storyline: 

You grew up in a broken home your parents didn’t seem to care about you. After they divorced your parent that took custody of you are broke. As a kid you spend a lot of time outside riding your bike that you taught yourself to ride. You hated staying inside because your parent was always drinking and unhappy. So you decided to start a garden with a few seeds. You bought with money you found laying around. As a teen you wake early and get to school early so you can see your friends. As well as get the best seat in class you work hard in school and enjoy it. You enjoy anything you do when your away from your toxic parent. One day a cute guy/girl asked you to prom and you say yes. It feels like young love you had a crush on them for awhile but we’re scared. To make a move because of how terrible, your parents are you were nervous to fall in love. But you dove in and head first after a slow dance with them you have your first kiss. Then that’s when you decided you deserve a happier life. You and them date and become high school sweethearts. You graduate high school and immediately move out and move to Henford On Bagley. With your high school sweetheart you buy a small farmhouse that isn’t much but it’s yours. You grow your garden get a cow, chickens and a llama. Even make friends with the local wildlife and adopt a cat/dog. Soon you/your partner proposes and you two get married. Not long after you find out you/your partner is pregnant you both are happy! You and your partner give the baby/babies all the love your parents never gave you. As well as taught them about being a good person, and how to garden take care of the farm. This life you have grown for yourself is tranquil and beautiful.

Gen.15 A Legacy Comes To An End With A Plantsim Kiss

Storyline: 

You grew up on a farm that ran on love and family. Your family has history that your parents keep a secret and won’t tell. As a kid you’d wander around the farmhouse, looking through your parents things. Trying to find anything that could tell you about your families past. You are fascinated with history and science you also love to read. So finding out your families secrets fascinates you. Your parents got mad at you for getting into their things. They tell you they are just trying to protect you and keep you safe. You know that’s true but the history of your family still interests you. You never got to meet your grandparents your parents never talk about them. Which sparks your interest more for finding out about your family's legacy. Your parents always told you it’s better you not know and go outside enjoy time on the farm. You liked it outside but enjoyed staying in and reading more. You loved school though even if you sat by yourself everyday, after all you are a teacher's pet. As a teen you worked hard in school and got good grades. Now Moving  away from your family going to college is hard. Especially everything you never discovered, about your legacy you let it stay in the past. You study hard in college to become a engineer, even though it wasn’t your first choice. It makes good money you finish college and start your job as an engineer. While still living in Britchester for the time being. On the first day of your job you quit because you realize this isn’t what you want to do with your life. You move out to Evergreen Harbor into a small house. The town smells it’s very run down and smoggy. So you start voting to try to change that and find a passion, for the community service and helping the planet. You grew up on a farm which those values your family taught you are still inside you. You may be more indoorsy but you do want to help your town. You start growing a garden and build up your house to be eco-friendly. You join the eco innovator career and make your town a better greener place. Soon you unexpectedly meet a plant Sim who decided to live here cause it’s more beautiful now. You and they become friends and then after a couple dates you have your first kiss. From then on you two are forever in love get married and have one kid. Now you realize those secret things about your family don’t matter. Because you know what your legacy is, it's a unique whimsical long story that will forever be a part of you.
