Thinking about my choir days and how, when I was in 6th grade choir, one amazing thing that always stuck with me is how important placements are.

My middle school choir teacher had demonstrated, putting herself in the middle and two of my classmates on either side of her. They sang a few notes, and then had the two girls switch spots.

The difference was honestly night and day.

I just think it’s neat how sound travels differently depending on placements...it really is no wonder why choir teachers are always shuffling everyone around lmao

#idk what brought this on #i was watching old videos and remembering #i miss choir tbh #esp show choir #that shit was fun as hell #the one thing i DONT miss abt it is how fucking cold we were in the smaller dresses...#specifically there was a few times where me and some pals went out to sonic #a lil restaurant not far from my high school #and it was so cold outside but we were starving #so me and my pals were just vibin in small dresses in the cold evening wind trying to order our food and rush back to the school to warm up #it was hell #but it was fun #since me and 1 other pal were in show choir we had to stop at the school first #to drop off our other dresses and pin our names on them #since show choir went first and the SC girls wore different dresses. since we sang and danced #and since i was 16 and my pal was 15 and i cant drive (epilepsy) she didnt have a car at the time. let alone a permit #so we had to walk LMFAO #idk im just walking down memory lane rn. those were really...fond times
