Finally had an AU idea that wasn't based on Apollo being a complete maniac

I mean, it's really just the whole Supernova AU, i.e. Clay possessing Apollo to enact revenge... but instead of revenge, Clay is possessing him to try and help him through the horrible situation resulting after his own death.

Like, it's very easy to think that Apollo would just... lose all will to keep the investigation going, after a certain point. Perhaps he'd even find it hard to keep taking care of himself. So Clay wrests control of the man's body away from him- not to murder, no, but simply to try and pull the man through life, and (legally) bring his own killer to justice.

I've touched on something similar when discussing the "Maybe Apollo is possessed by Clay's ghost!" line from Dual Destinies, but I never really officially labeled it as an AU or built on it that much
