You may want to turn the volume down a bit. This was Eva's favorite experiment at #rutgersday yesterday! @rutgersu Why did I buy the same type #aluminium rod on the way home?? #singingrod The vibrations caused by the friction of the fingers on the rod transfer to the end of it and this in turn cause the air to also vibrate thus transferring the noise through the air. The result is a high pitch noise that can be hard to withstand or appreciate.
