It is a rewarding experience, when you set a standard and achieve it. Forcing yourself to repeat it builds character and skill. The greatest insult you can give any artist is to say, “you have a God given talent”. To this I say “NO sir!” “I have sacrificed relationships, toiled countless hours and suffered a great many injuries in the pursuit of my craft.” Having been labeled a criminal for choosing to make art that serves a higher purpose. To create a moment in time for the people who use it, to relax and let go of societies impositions for a moment. Being present in that space and time, at peace, relieved of pain and the anxiety of living thru the collapse of an empire. Thank you to everyone who supports my art and makes my life possible.
