Tonight I am watching my ultimate comfort movies… The Sissi trilogy with Romy Schneider and Karlheinz Böhm. There are times when historical accuracy matters, but there are times we all need an escape, a beautiful fairytale with a happily ever after, if anyone is looking for the latter, give this version of Sissi a try. Watched it as a kid and keep going back to it time and time again when I need a warm comforting blanket of a movie ❤️
