Small story:

After Skektif stopped visiting the castle (around the age of 90, 20 in human), the castle skeklings only saw her on rare occations. But they knew Tif would always be there, if they needed her. But it is harder now, to reach her.  Once, the Skeksis had a meeting in the area near Skektifs home, and they took the kids with them. Skekzok and Skekshod, proud parents, told the others that their child, would watch the other young ones. Skekphan is still too young tho, and gets overwhelmed with the pressure of babysitting 5 little kiddos. After 3 days, he breaks.  So he visited Skektif, in the early morning. Seeking help.

Do any of the other skeklings suffer the wrath of gelfling like Tif, or do they just stay in the castle and avoid the judgement?

Tif got attacked in Original AU, and badmouthed in Happy AU.

The others in OA are pre-Urkskes live in the castle, and had never to go thru abuse (from Thra kind) at all. When the Urskeks left, and Kira and Jen claimed the castle together with Augrah, they fled. Fearing the rage of the crystal.

When they left, they couldn’t do anything. Survival was non of the skeklings traits, only Tif was an expert on this topic. 

Skektron, Skekan, Skekart and Skekthra went to the Grottans, staying out of sight from the arathim and Gelfling with the help from Trons and Na’s machines. 

Skekphan decided to leave the group and stay far away from everyone at the edge east of sog. He got bothered here and there on his way to his final destination, but as he reached the nearly dead land, he was left alone. For now.

Skekvi and Skekenz, together with Skeksam live west from the endless forest. Skekenz tried to make peace with the podlings, knowing their languages, but they just said, stay away. Skeksam got the most hits, but never really got attacked, because they fear his great size. He only collects wood, so he had no other interaction. 

All in all, after nearly 100 years, only Skekphan and Skekart got killed by either arathim or Gelfling. Sam got injured very bad at his 400th birthday. And Skekthra died of broken heart.

Skeksam, son of Skeksil and Skekung

The youngest of all the Skeklings. When born the young Skeksis was covered in very thick down. Not actually fat. Sil and Ung believed in strict lessons and behaviour training. So poor Skeksam had no time to play or talk to other skeklings. He was isolated by his parents, they believed the others would weaken his already weak body. 

He was a clumsy little baby, he tried his best to please his parents and never really lived up to their high demands. Therefore Skekung was even harder to him. Trained him to a warrior with harsh and exausting hours of Exercises. Which caused scars all over his body, the biggest being a cut of tail. Skeksil took this opportunity to pamper the little one, hoping it will benefit him somehow in the future.  He never became a skilled fighter, but he got Strength no other skeksis had. Not even his father Skekung. So he became the Butcher, seeing the only place a Muscle monster like him would fit. 

But his soul is pure. He never searched for blood, he is anxious and never really talks, due to the constant screaming at him from Ung and the manipulating verbal abuse from sil. He gets along with nearly all of the skeklings, except Skekphan. Also he doesn’t know that Skektif exist.

HAPPY AU:

In this Version Skeksam had a calm and relative “Normal” Childhood. He was born fluffy and was showed to the emperor real quick. Being proud that he got so much fluff, Skekso approved of the little one and was tasked them to raise him well. And so they did.

Skekung training him like in the OA (orginal AU) yet with more care and patience, if he gets frustrated they stop and start another day, in the meantime Skeksil teaches him body language and how to react to them. Soon Skeksam became very good at watching people and creatures. He gained the Titel “the observer” and was send out to gain information by interacting with Gelfling and Podlings. He may has the mission to find out information, but he befriended the Thra kind with his kind and open soul. Soon he met Tif as well, and got a Crush on her. She of course telling him no and saying she has already someone she likes.

A little bit sad he returned to the Castle but Skekan cheering him up and become due care and strong friendship even more.
