Now why the G1000 comes first, also when, the development of the G900 should take 2 years and the G1000 could take double that
The reason why the G1000 comes first is that what I see happening for private jets in the future, is what we have seen happen for private yachts
Bigger always bigger, more and more luxurious, with that in mind we have set the bar with the G1000 as the ultimate in private jetliners, there's nothing after it, it's almost the size of a large airliner
Second thing the capacity of the G1000, 60 to 64 passengers, that is where the jet industry is going in my opinion, private jets, corporate jets, and jet aviation services or jet leasing, they will want larger jets, more luxurious with an increased capacity
It's more passengers, more business, more time the jet is in the air and not racking fees in a hangard
We sell dreams Gunray used to say about banking, we could show you a regular jetliner but no we're showing the Blackbird, although its cosmetic stuff, the plane is glossy black, the chromes are also blacked out but at the same time we're selling a dream
The exterior is only half of it, black chromes for the interior as well, and an anthracite gray palette, along with beige leather upholstery
Or maybe even the exterior paint looks just like that, who knows what's possible nowadays with alloyed paints
Now each of these 60 or 64 passenger seats can transform into a skycouch, together with its private space, there's also that, the rest is a sky lounge, a dining area, a conference room, and a suite together with an executive office
What more can it do, you have to expect that from clients, because the baggage hold is for 64 plus crew converting the remainder of it into fuel tanks could double the autonomy of the G1000
That's less refuels, essentially less time spent refueling, and range, because beyond ultra range there is unlimited range, which is the equivalent of a tour of the globe at its widest latitude, the equator
No other plane can do that except by striking a compromise between its passenger number, baggage hold, and fuel tanks, which as Gulfstream if we see that happening elsewhere well way to go with trying to be Gulfstream
In the future stratospheric planes can this can that, it's not what the G1000 is about, it's about producing a timeless classic
Thank you for having followed

Hi! First: I love ALL your stories. This morning I was reading a piece of news about Air New Zealand and remembered they have this economy skycouch for people traveling together. Seats transform into a bed. I immediately thought how enjoyable it would be to read a story written by you about how Keith would take if a beautiful and completely stranger buy (Lance) offered him to expand their seats to stretched for the night. Thanks if you ever write it and thanks for all you have written already
Okay I went and watched a video to understand. I like that this has potential for “bedsharing” but with a twist. I’m definitely here for it. I’m putting it on my prompt list. I wish I could give you a time frame, but it’s hard to say. Thanks for the awesome idea!

The Top 5 Airlines You Need To Know About Before You Travel Long- Haul With Kids
I have been really lucky with my eldest two kids, both of them have travelled a lot since they were babies. They will sit and chill until they fall asleep. Wake up, eat, watch some movies and then we are there. My third child, is a totally different story. You would swear that you were flying to the land of ‘Hand over your favourite toys and eat broccoli’
You can never plan for every situation, but choosing the right airline can make things a whole lot easier so I thought I would share with you my thoughts on the best airlines to make life a little bit easier...
#1 ETIHAD
My top pick for easy travel would have to be Etihad. Anyone with babies and young children that has flown with them, would have to agree with me… Why you ask? What is so special about Etihad on a long-haul flight… Flying Nannies!!
The professionally trained flying nannies come armed with all the magic tricks (literally), origami, face painting, hand puppets, pilot hats and anything else they can fit in their Mary Poppins bags.
Need a sleep? The Nannies will take your little ones for a tour of the plane to see where the meals are prepared whilst you grab some shut eye.
The best bit about Etihad - The Nannies are not a privilege reserved only for the patrons at the front end of the plane, but for everyone in every class!
If you are thinking of booking an Etihad flight, and you would like some extra space in the economy seating - look into their new “neighbor-free seat” booking feature. It is a bidding system where you can bid to reserve an extra seat next to you. Of course it is an extra fee, but a lot better than booking all business class fares if you just want a little more space.
To look into some of the benefits of flying with Etihad with kids check out their website
https://www.etihad.com/en-au/experience-etihad/family-travel/onboard/
#2 EMIRATES
Imagine what VIP status feels like for us - Business class, first class, private club lounges. Emirates is that, for kids. If you are looking for an airline that caters to young people, then the kids will not have more fun on a flight than Emirates... as the old saying goes ‘Happy Wife (Mummy), Happy Life’ and what makes mummy happy? Happy Kids!!!
All kids receive a stuffed animal friend, bags, books, crafts to keep them busy, kid sized headphones and even their own special amenities kit. The meals onboard for kids are served in special child friendly trays and snack boxes.
If you are connecting through Dubai, there is a dedicated family check-in desk and complimentary strollers to make your stop over a little more comfortable.
If you choose to fly with Emirates, don’t forget to sign up to the Emirates Skysurfers program. Skysurfers is the Emirates Kids frequent flyer program. You can redeem miles for rewards flights or you can let the little humans exchange them for Theme park tickets.
To book an emirates flight, check out their website emirates.com
#3 BRITISH AIRWAYS
I love that with British Airways, the kids can get involved in their travel plans with Mum and Dad. Before heading off on holidays, your little Bambinos can personalise their own luggage with their very own Skyflyers baggage tags. You can download them at this link...
https://www.britishairways.com/cms/global/pdfs/Travelling_with_children/skyflyers_baggage_tag.pdf
Whilst British Airways were founded in 1974, they are celebrating their 100th anniversary. Its a long story but essentially the 100 years dates back to when a smaller airline took their first flight and that airline later became part of BA. Anyways, that was just a little bit of random history for you. As part of their celebrations, BA are investing in improving Customer Service, especially in regards to families. This will provide new family friendly lounges and entertainment. The first airports to receive these lounges will be Heathrow and Gatwick. Parents can sit back and relax whilst the little ones can stretch their legs and their imaginations whilst playing with the musical instruments, the play kitchens or riding on the mini sized airplanes.
Also in the coming years, you can expect to see a new permanent family check in area at Heathrow Airport and a designated family security lane.
So if you are looking to book a UK getaway anytime over the next few years, I would strongly recommend British Airways with Kids.
Check them out at britishairways.com
#4 SINGAPORE AIRLINES
I’m not sure if Singapore Airlines should actually be number four or number one…. I guess it depends on the age of your children. If you have a newborn or infant, I think you should actually consider Singapore Airlines first.
First of all SA supply bulkhead baby bassinets. There is a limited number of bassinets available onboard each flight so I would recommend that you book the bassinet when you book the infant ticket as it is offered on a first request, first served basis. The bassinets support a maximum weight of 14kg.
The second reason that I think SA is best for travelling with babies is because they cater for babies of all ages and within their meal choices. They have many options ranging from their own special baby food for bambinos under one year old. They have a ‘Post Weaning Meal’ option made for infants who need food that is easy to chew and if you are travelling business class or up, there is an additional ‘gourmet’ yummy menu for the kids.
Finally, the thing that I love MOST about travelling with Singapore Airlines is that in an ‘Emergency number 3’ situation (wink - you know what I am talking about) Singers have your back. They stock a supply of nappies, bibs, bottles, wipes, cuddly toys and anything else that you may need… Of course it is always best to take your own nappies incase theirs do not fit, or your own cuddly toys that the little one loves most of all, but it is reassuring to know that if you are 30,000 feet in the air and you realise that you left the bottles in the fridge at home or you packed one bottle too short, there are spares there that you can use…. And that right there, is why I love Singapore Airlines.

#5 AIR NEW ZEALAND
Last of all is Air New Zealand. If you are travelling on a long haul flight with ANZ, not only do they provide the Kiddies with their very own Jet Cadets Kids packs and a wide selection of on screen entertainment, but they can also have a bed.
Air New Zealand have recently released the new Economy Skycouch. The skycouch is three seats turned into a bed, couch, play area, whatever you need it to be. This is great if you choose to travel the economy option but you have active little ones that need space to play and be creative or if they don’t sleep well sitting across an armrest.
Even better, If you have a newborn, pre-book a bassinet with your Skycouch and both Mumma and Baby can have a good long rest.
Check out the Skycouch on this link:

Less 90 minutes before we land at LAX! It's safe to say that the skycouch was 100% worth it's cost. We've been comfortable and stress free the entire flight! They give these full soft pillows, almost like a fitted sheet and warm fleece blankets. (Not that you need them. 😏 Boday heeaaaat) I struggle to sleep in unfamiliar places and managed to sleep more than 5 hours! Blake the ever talented, slept for over 6! Sleeping side by side was a little tight so we slept head to toe which I think worked better. To anyone considering it for long haul flights I'd say it's a must! We paid $225 per person per flight for reference and I'd happily do it again! See you on our flight home Skycouch!! https://www.instagram.com/p/Bp2joYsFjMu/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=ro1uddfjf8sk

The aircraft cabin is the part of the aircraft in which passenger travels. The aircraft cabin interior comprises components and systems that are used inside the cabin such as overhead bins, seats, monuments, lavatory, carts, and lights.
Market Dynamics- Drivers
Growing preference of consumer for air travel is expected to drive growth of the global aircraft cabin interior market during the forecast period
According to International Air Transport Association (IATA) report, 2015, number of passengers traveling by air increased to 3.4 billion passengers in 2015 from 3.3 billion passengers in 2014, registering a growth of 3%. Furthermore, the high growth of tourism industry, rising international travel, higher disposable income, competitive ticket pricing, and a significant reduction in traveling time are compelling consumers to opt for air travel than other modes of commute. This, in turn, is influencing airline carriers to deploy new aircraft and thereby drive the growth of the global aircraft cabin interior market.
Rise in long-distance air travel boosting the demand for advanced and comforting interiors is expected to propel the global aircraft cabin interior market growth over the forecast period
Long-haul flights or long-distance non-stop air travel of over seven hours of flight time has increased significantly in the recent past. This is owing to increasing traveling range of aircraft, which leads to shorter travel times and fewer transit complications. However, a long-haul flight can lead to various health complications such as fatigue, restlessness, jet lag, and overall discomfort for passengers. Airline carriers are focused on enhancing passenger comfort, which in turn, is increasing adoption of comfortable, highly customizable, and technologically advanced cabin interior systems to replace the existing conventional systems. The practice of fitting more comfortable and soothing aircraft cabin interior products in long haul flights is expected to support growth of the global aircraft cabin interior market over the forecast period.
North America region dominated the global aircraft cabin interior market in 2019, accounting for 33.3% share in terms of value, followed by Asia Pacific, Europe, MEA and Latin America, respectively.

Market Dynamics- Restraints
Reducing demand for large body aircraft across the globe is expected to hamper the global aircraft cabin interior market growth over the forecast period
Large aircrafts comprising double decks and two aisles require higher number of aircraft cabin interior products. Naturally, number of monuments such as overhead bins, lavatories, galleys, and lighting systems are much higher than that of narrow-body aircraft. Airline carriers whose fleet comprising mostly of narrow-body aircraft generally tend to increase passenger capacity of aircraft by utilizing space taken up by these galleys and lavatories. Hence, demand for these galleys is expected to decrease, as cost of a single galley is much more than that of a row of seats, which is in turn, is expected to restrain the market growth.
Lack of profitable airlines in emerging economies is expected to hamper the global aircraft cabin interior market growth over the forecast period
Emerging economies such as South Africa, India, and China have a limited number of profitable airlines. This is primarily due to low purchase power and constant preference for conventional methods of commute such as railways and buses. This, in turn, is expected to hinder growth of the global aircraft cabin interior market growth over the forecast period.
Market Opportunities
Customization and replacement of existing aircraft cabin interior components to provide major growth opportunities
The global aviation industry is growing at a steady pace though there is intense competition among major airline carriers. These airline carriers make extreme efforts to increase passenger share by including more destinations, providing competitive prices, and refurbishing aircraft frequently. For instances, Thomson Airways cabin structure to accommodate the whole family, Air New Zealand’s SkyCouch, a row of three economy seats that together create a flexible space, and Etihad Airways ‘The Residence’, a three-room suite which has living room, bedroom, and shower room, has led to frequent customization and replacement of aircraft interior products. Moreover, on average, airline carriers replace their cabin interior products every 3 to 5 years to provide a new look and feel their aircraft.
Adoption of in-flight entertainment system and connectivity systems across all classes can present significant growth opportunities
First class and business class passengers receive special features and amenities such as personalized in-flight entertainment and communication systems for comfort and convenience. Until recently, amenities in economy class segment were kept to a bare minimum. However, rising competition in the global airline industry is compelling airline carriers to offer communications systems and in-flight entertainment in the economy class seating, in order to attract more passengers. For instance, certain airlines such as FlyDubai offer these amenities for a small pre-paid fee.

What 9 days in New Zealand looks like
January 2020 feels like a really long time ago. I look back and think, “it was an amazing time to take a vacation.”
Trip details:
Theme: 70% nature and hiking
8 nights, 9 days
Spent 2 days, 1 night in the North Island, and the rest of the trip in the South Island
Food keywords: English breakfasts, grain bowls, farm-to-table deliciousness, turmeric lattes
Would go back: YES! New Zealand is quite large and there’s lots more to explore, especially in the North Island. We didn’t even go into Auckland.

Air New Zealand Is Putting Bunk Beds in Economy Class The company’s Skynest is a rare game changer for the 99 percent. By. Nikki Ekstein February 25, 2020 Lie-flat seats ... in coach? It’s possible, says Air New Zealand, which on Tuesday announced a new economy-cabin concept to be piloted on flights between New York and Auckland starting this October. The new route is the first-ever nonstop between the two cities, taking roughly 16 to 18 hours. Economy Skynest, the latest prototype to stem from the airline’s Hangar 22 innovation center, builds off the success of the airline’s Economy Skycouch, which allows families to transform a row of three economy seats into a single full-size bed. If Skycouch is like a futon, Skynest is a small Pod Hotel, with two parallel sets of bunk beds stacked three high. Each mattress will be about 6.5 feet long and 23 inches wide at the shoulder, tentatively fitted with a privacy curtain, full-size pillow, blanket, sheets, and earplugs. Skynest’s exact position within the cabin is yet to be decided—as is the exact date of its first flight. Its specifications are also subject to change. But according to a statement from the airline’s general manager of customer experience, Nikki Goodman, “an economy-class customer on long-haul flights would be able to book the Economy Skynest in addition to their economy seat, get some quality rest and arrive at their destination ready to go.” Price and logistics are similarly up in the air, such as if guests can book the pod for an entire flight or just segments. A spokesperson said it’s more likely to be reserved for single-use sessions of a still-to-be-determined length. That would make the product accessible to more passengers per plane load and lower the price threshold, though it would raise questions about cleaning in between uses. “There is still work to be done on design development and the team is reviewing the commercial feasibility of having the product onboard,” explained the spokesperson over email. *** See full article here ---->> https://twitter.com/business/status/1232665395980636160?s=19 <<--- *** https://www.instagram.com/p/B9CGTSJJK2W/?igshid=tn91gro77e7l

Air New Zealand innovates yet again, this time with a conceptual 'Skynest' for economy passengers
Air New Zealand innovates yet again, this time with a conceptual 'Skynest' for economy passengers. Could it revolutionise long-haul economy travel?

Air New Zealandhas a fairly unique proposition, offering daily ultra long-haul flights across the globe while catering to a home country with just half the population of London. As such, its had to innovate to remain at the top of it’s game, and has already rolled out products like the (short-lived) Premium Economy Spaceseat, and Skycouch to help bolster ancillary sales while catering to the…

Vpis 1 - Life there is only one

Boarding completed hlásí letuška už v 5:50, takže zavíráme dveře a jedeme. Letím s portugalskými TAP, který mám čím dál tím víc oblíbený. A tentokrát zvlášť, páč poprvý jako Star Alliance Gold. A lup, hnedka economy extra. Spousta místa, zásuvky, a ještě by tu šel i Skycouch.

Let do Lisabonu trvá tři a půl hodiny, skoro celej bez turbulencí, prospal jsem dvě a půl hodiny, samotnýho mě to překvapilo.

A jde jim to.

Nejdřív jsem viděl jen "Never Give Up", ale pak se otočil, a z druhý strany má "Life there is only one", takže angličtinář to nebude.

Lezu do terminálu a už skrz skla vidím Koušna, je tu! Vyřídím auto, vezmu kufr a už vítání, čáááu.

A hřeje!

No tak teď ho i ochutnám :-)

Hele a dobrý, k tomu kanárský pivečko ("Pilsen") a jsme si spokojený. Zdravíme dom a všude, kde nás čtete. Pa!
