Do you have any hcs for the Repliforce chars (including Web Spider and Jet Stingray)?
Hoo boy, do I. Some of these are headcanons loosely based on a tentative AU project I'm playing around with where X4's events were averted entirely cuz Sigma overplayed his hand.
General (Headcanon CV: Kinryu Arimoto) and Colonel (Headcanon CV: Katsuyuki Konishi) are so military-oriented that the slightest non-combat scenario has them akin to the cross between a deer in the headlights and an actor who literally forgot all their lines and flounder on live footage. Colonel is *slightly* better due to being Iris' core programming twin and falling back on her know-how, but it's not a pretty sight. Zero has similar problems - the one crippling weakness they all share. Warbots gonna warbot & all that. General is at least humble and overly polite about it - Colonel gets defensive and prideful which does him no favors in the maturity department.
Iris (Headcanon CV: Kana Hanazawa) is the glue that keeps the Repliforce high command from shrieking to a screaming halt. Her assuring demeanor, her kindness, her being unafraid to be candid to superiors when they're in the wrong, her more overt 'human' traits like her expressiveness & personal care (Iris takes great pride in maintaining her long locks), her willingness to help or lend a shoulder/ear, even her schoolgirl crush of Zero (despite some dissenting opinions). She is slowly warming up to constant human contact, before X4 threw all that out the window.
Slash Beastleo (Headcanon CV: Rikiya Koyama) is Colonel's right-hand man and quite honestly the closest of Repliforce's notable active members to being "one of the guys". You wouldn't guess by appearance that he's a gifted orator and something of a socialite. Beastleo's the closest thing Repliforce has to a social media icon and activist, doing double-duty as part of Repliforce's PR department to make enlistment and human-Reploid relations go surprisingly well... even if the concept of memes is utterly alien to 99% of Reploids. Also has pet nicknames for others, but only those he likes.
Frost Walrus (Headcanon CV: Unsho Ishizuka) is a moody troublemaker and delinquent by Repliforce standards. After transferring from the Maverick Hunters to avoid decommissioning, General and Colonel keep a tight leash on the behemoth to keep him in line. Far removed from his prior habits of physical altercations, Walrus falls back on snarky quips and clapbacks to scratch that itch. It's only tolerated due to exemplary field performance and being one of the few Reploids in service who can operate at peak efficiency in the polar regions. Argues a lot w/ Burn Dinorex. Has a weakness for vanilla ice cream, an oddity even among Reploids.
Jet Stingray (Headcanon CV: Satoshi Hino) is the ideal naval soldier from his sharp, succinct speech to his statuesque posture. Does not often speak unless spoken to, and always with a respectful tone bordering on austerity. But completely throw him off his game and he's a bona fide basketcase, having animated gestures and swears like a sailor - the stark opposite of his usual facade. When he catches himself his entire frame goes hot pink from embarrassment - at which point it is unwise to probe the subject further. Does not express it but is absolutely terrified of airborne heights.
Web Spider (Headcanon CV: Kappei Yamaguchi) is a professional information broker. Having metaphorical eyes and ears everywhere as a joint chief of security in addition to his guerrilla duties, Spider's personal logs detail all manner of juicy bits for gossip and the occasional harmless blackmail (usually it's for small favors and foisting unwanted duties onto others as one-time things - can't let there be any... noticeable patterns.) A bigger, but far more discrete troll than Beastleo.
Storm Owl (Headcanon CV: Taiki Matsuno) is an obsessive-compulsive perfectionist, often overreacting to anything from formations to materials being mere iota out of place. Is prone to hooting disciplinary rants on military-grade excellence being expected out of his men as well as himself. Colonel and General have tried and failed to get Owl to take things down several notches to little avail. There are unsubstantiated off-the-record rumors that the former two authorized Beastleo and Spider to pull subtle "disciplinary actions" (pranks) at Owl's expense when formal complaints pile.
Spiral Pegasus (Headcanon CV: Akira Ishida), Owl's newly appointed lieutenant, is significantly less uptight than his commander, if only due to his youth and somewhat pliable naivete. His strong sense of duty and justice often blindside him to more nuanced social etiquette and protocol, often distressing the stallion & ruminating that he's made a fool of himself. (He's his own worst enemy.) The Repliforce Air Force like Spiral a lot more than Owl, and the pressure often gets to him in somewhat comical displays of panic straight out of an anime. Prone to neigh or whinny if sufficiently animated. One-sided crush on Iris.
Burn Dinorex (Headcanon CV: Taiten Kusunoki) is Repliforce' chief of weapon maintenance, often choosing to craft his arms and tools by hand rather than automated, having some affinity for the classic blacksmiths of yore. His personal workshop is nicknamed 'Hephaestus'. Has a deep off-putting voice but is very polite, if not sounding like a giant trying to gingerly handle fragile flowers around him. Often addresses Iris as 'Lady Iris'. Argues a lot w/ Walrus

I remember catching ridicule as a kid for continuing to call Slash Man a dinosaur after X4 came out, because older fandom peers were like "psshaw, sure he lives in dinosaur park but he's clearly a lion because of Slash Beastleo" and the level of "well akshully" may have contributed to me losing some of my enthusiasm for the fandom.
Jokes' on them (and me) , because Slash Man's R&F/M&B CD data says he loves fruits and vegetables (which woulda thrown kid me for a loop), which has me convinced that he could be a small Therizinosaur.
Just look at Wily and tell me he's not a hyper nerdlord who would know some slightly more obscure fossils, I dare you.

Spiral “Skiver” Pegasus: I don’t get it, what’s a “My Little Pony”?
-One five-minute explanation by an understandably enthusiastic Iris later-
Spiral “Skiver” Pegasus: I have the intense urge to punch a wall to regain my masculinity...
Slash Beast[leo]: Hey, kid. I know something a little more... productive. *jostles a copy of “Street Fighter for Dummies” in his hand* You interested?
(And that’s the story of how a flying military horsebot who fuels the fandom’s most untapped canon potential love triangle/OT3 can spam the Shoryuken on your ass in X5 or Legacy Collection unless you were smart enough to beat Mothafuckin’ Maverick DIO Dark Necrobat first and counter with ZA WARUDO Dark Hold. And don’t say he’s NOT Megaman DIO cuz Axle the Red/Spike Rosered/APPARENTLY CARNIVOROUS PRICKLY FLOWER MAN was based heavily on Kakyoin. Inafune himself confirmed this. It’s canon. His vine attacks and motifs are basically just Hierophant Green without the Emerald Splash.)

My hand slipped and a thing came out. Whoops.
Slash Beast always struck me as the kind of guy to mess with authority.
