work was awesome we only had 2 kids but they were thrilled to be back and play with all the toys. stace my boss bought a bucket full of stim toys (kinetic sand, fidget toys, stress balls etc) that they were enamoured with as well as tons of toolkits for us to take apart old electronics with to inspect the insides and do carpentry with. theres lots of new lego and building toys. plus a whole jewelry kit all the kids are going to use for valentines day. we're gonna get everyone to make cards and friendship bracelets for their best friends with beads in lettering. i missed this so much. they both said "goodbye i love you!!!" when they left and i nearly started crying. i am on 4 hours of sleep.
#stayed up till 5am and cried because i thought i would miss my furst day back#slept till 10 qnd came in#all the tears and hourly breakdowns from 12-5am last night are in the past#we are taking screwdrivers and hammers to a broken toy piano next week#and dressing up in costumes to be princesses and fairies and doctors and lions
