Sunnydapple and her daughters, Slightkit and Sandykit

Sunnydapple had only just given birth when the sickness began to spread, and moved to quarantine when her kits were only two moons old. Unfortunately, they never met their father, and Badgerface was one of the first to fall ill. Though she is grateful that she and her daughters made it out alive, Sunnydapple grieves the fact that they will never see the Scarletclan she knew. All the cats she loved will only be stories to her children.

Sunnydapple is a capable and intelligent she-cat, and Frogstar is immensely grateful for her help in caring for his son Drizzlepaw. He trusts her completely, and knew there was no other choice for his deputy. She is doing her best to fill her new role, though her heart is broken. She keeps up a happy disposition for her kits, who cannot understand what they have lost.

Slightkit has a sour disposition, though no one can blame her after the difficulties of her young life. She doesn't remember much of Scarletclan, but she remembers the first nursery, and then the quarantine camp, how the bitter cold seeped into all their bones and her mother often looked hungry and distressed. Things may be better now that New-Leaf is here, but Slightkit can't help but wait for the next disaster.

Sandykit is her sister's opposite, mirroring Sunnydapple's positive demeanor. She is eager to explore the new camp, and doesn't seem overly preoccupied with the struggles she has faced.

Unfortunately, her eagerness lead to her listening to her sister Plume'Paw when she dared her to run across the entire territory in one night. She barely succeeded, and came home with cracked pads. Plume'Paw ended up with a runny nose as well. But while Scale'Feather was out looking for herbs to patch up the sisters, she discovered a she-cat recovering from birth with two kittens at her belly. Thrush'Dash joined the clan with her newborns, Moon'Kit and Rock'Kit. After she came to, they came to the realization that this was Plume and Frozen's long lost mother, and she'd been searching for her older kittens after she'd lost them 7 moons ago, having started expecting after they were weaned since she was in love with the idea of kittens and having a big family. The father of all her kittens is unknown, but they probably have the same dad

Autumn Lifegen: Moon 1

Autumnkit ran. The soft moss of the nest gave way underpaw to hard earth, but that only let him go faster, his legs stretching as far as they could.

The hot breath of his pursuer tingled on his neck, and his throat ached from the gasping breaths he took, but his heart soared when he saw the cold light of the nursery entrance right in front of him. Just a little bit more! His paws scrabbled on the frosty bark; he slipped. Before he got more than a glimpse of the snow-covered camp outside, his pursuer mercilessly sank his fangs into the soft skin around his neck.

Autumnkit howled, thrashing desperately as he was pulled up into the air and away from the freedom he’d been so close to getting.

“It’s nap time!” Redleaf, his father and captor said, voice muffled by his grasp on Autumnkit’s neck. In two long strides, they were back at the nest.

“No!” Autumnkit cried. This wasn’t fair! He’d been so close! “I don’t wanna! I wanna play!” He thrashed around for emphasis.

From the other side of the nursery, he heard Cloudykit groan and Slightkit mutter something under his breath. Somehow, his sister Jadekit remained fast asleep.

Redleaf set him down gently beside her. “We can go out and play later,” he said softly.

“I wanna play NOW!”

His father’s expression became thoughtful, his eyes darting around the nursery. “You know, I heard that Needleclaw has a mission for you.”

Autumnkit’s ears pricked up. “Really?”

Redleaf nodded. “Really.” Autumnkit stuck his head out of the nest to stare at the nursery-keeper, who was fast asleep in his own nest. A mission before I’m even an apprentice!

“He needs you to be ready first; you’ll need to be well-rested!”

Autumnkit hissed. “Do I haveeeee to?”

Redleaf purred. “Even Bigfalcon naps before he goes on a big mission! He always says it’s very important.”

“Okay.” Autumnkit scrunched his nose up. If Wolfclan’s deputy could nap, then he could too. He reluctantly flopped over and closed his eyes. The warm moss was comfortable, and soon he had drifted off.

Redleaf breathed a sigh of relief once both of his kittens were finally asleep. Once Needleclaw was awake, he’d ask him to find something for Autumnkit to do- or else he’d probably never willingly take a nap ever again.

Hailleaf had healed from some minor scrapes and had set foot into the forest, only to instantly have their tail bitten by a fox. The dejected trudge back to the medicine den was met with sympathetic glances and muffled laughter.

Bearrain's broken bone has become infected.

Dewspots and Moletangle have managed to fight back their infections with Moletangle being able to recover entirely.

Buzzardpaw's mangled tail has healed up well.

Sunpaw caught whitecough.

Mallowpaw has had their leg amputated. They quietly pray that they can still be a warrior with one less leg.

Waterkit was almost abducted by a seagull but Grousefleck managed to kill the bird before it took off with the kit.

Riverfin has recovered very well from their snake bite. In fact, the only evidence of there ever being a bite is a scar.

Skyback has caught whitecough from treating Sunpaw. Sunpaw feels really guilty.

Moletangle and Busheye have confessed to each other and become mates!

Mallowpaw's amputated leg had developed an infection. the medicine cats are working hard to preserve as much of their leftover leg as possible.

Wormpaw, Peachpaw and Lichenpaw have all become apprentices! Their mentors are Pondfrost, Whisperpeak, and Splashtooth.

Waterkit has passed on due to the injuries sustained by the seagull.

Brushkit was also almost abducted by a seagull but Clamtrail saved the kit before the seagull could fly away.

Slightkit has admitted themselves to the medicine cat den when their runny nose only seems to get worse.

Sunkit and Shorekit have caught kittencough.

Grousefleck was badly injured in a fight with a big dog.

Hawkbit, Dazzlenest, and Riversand have caught whitecough.

Pondfrost fought off a rouge all by themselves and they weren't even touched!

Dazzlenest tried to confess to Conchblaze but was rejected.

Bearrain's infection is gone and their broken leg is now twisted.

Runningcrest, Hemlockpelt, Moonkick, Springkit, Sharphare, Splashtooth, Hawkbit, Fleckrustle, Mantisears, and Thunderfur were all abducted by twolegs.

Dewspots' leg is healed but weaker than before.

Vestapelt narrowly avoided a fox.

Moletangle has also caught whitecough.

Fawnfur is able to walk around again after injuring their leg.

Buzzardpaw becomes Buzzardspike and is celebrated for their energy!

Sunpaw has recovered from whitecough.

Sootpaw is made an apprentice to Shimmerfreckle and immediately asks about gathering moss.

Springkit has died. So far from home and so alone. they wonder if Starclan waits for them or if they are too far away for even Starclan to see them.

A loner decides to join the clan. They take on the name of Pinebranch.

When on a patrol sent to look for the missing cats Chasingpaw hears the sound of a dog in the distance. When investigating the noise they see a cat being chased around by a large dog. The patrol manages to lead the dog away while Chasingpaw escorts the injured cat the the medicine den. Moved by their bravery and kindness the cat joins the clan and takes on the name of Shellaster.

Pinebranch finds an abandoned kit on their first patrol out and brings it back to camp to be nursed back to health. They decide to name the kit Flashkit.

Squidburn and Pinebranch have been infected with whitecough.

Hailleaf's tail is scarred but healed from their wound.

Skyback has recovered from whitecough.

Beetleclaw has caught yellowcough.

Sunpaw has become Sunknoll and is honored for their dedication.

Mallowpaw is feeling better than they have been in a long time so they start running around camp doing exercises and apprentice tasks so that they can recover faster! However, this has only led them to scrape their paw pads pretty badly.

Heatherpaw begins training with Tumblethud.

Sunkit and Shorekit have died of kittencough. Shadowcreek knows that if Hemlockpelt finds their way back they will be devastated...

Clamtrail caught greencough.

Swiftspark and Skyback have caught whitecough.

Primwave was rejected by Swiftspark.

Dazzlenest has recovered from greencough... and then fell out of a tree...

Moletangle and Slightkit have recovered from whitecough.

Heatherpaw got into a scuffle with a fox and came out of it with only a few minor scratches!

Brushpaw and Slightpaw have become apprentices under Shadowcreek and Podarch.

Moletangle decided to tangle with a large dog and was injured.

A loner decides to join the clan. They take on the new name of Cavewave.

Some rouges attack a search patrol and kill Wormpaw, Deltarunner, and Sabletooth.

I ended up with an incredibly edgy story about this girl called Halfheart and her dad Mothstar. Mothstar broke the code to show up with 3 random kits, one of them looking just like him. That was Halfkit.

Halfkit had a really sad life, mate Meadowclaw died with her kit Slightkit, siblings drifted apart and died horribly, eventually paired up with an ex-rogue named MEADOW and had two more kits before he Spiderlegged her

Last I opened the save she was the deputy of her dad Mothstar, but I haven't played since then

Moons 7-10

Moon 7

Despite all of Songheart's efforts, Slightkit is unable to recover from the claw wounds he received from the hawk. His siblings grieve as they sit vigil, devastated that they don't get the chance to grow up with their littermate.

Rainstar tries to improve the mood by performing Lakebloom's well-deserved warrior ceremony. Though his clanmates are proud, the gloom permeates TalonClan as they mourn the loss of young Slightkit.

He goes on his first patrol with Whisperfrost and catches sight of twolegs in their territory while hunting. Before they can escape, Whisperfrost is taken by the twolegs.

That same day Rainstar is ambushed by a group of rogues and loses a life in the fight to secure TalonClan's border. The clan is reminded of the harshness of leaf-fall and life in the cliffs.

Moon 8

The weather continues to cool and Fleckkit begins showing signs of illness with a running nose.

On a border patrol, Lakebloom and Leafblaze catch sight of a PiperClan cat on TalonClan territory. When they go to investigate, they find a rival warrior hiding up a tree, yowling a warning. The warning reaches them too late; the large dog the warrior had been running from is on them in moments, and Lakebloom is killed.

Moon 9

No one takes the loss of Lakebloom as hard as his mentor, Sprucefur. She sits vigil with him and grieves the loss of such a young warrior, so soon after his warrior ceremony. Leafblaze has to be treated by Songheart for shock after witnessing the dog attack that took Lakebloom's life. The cold of leaf-bare is felt by all the clan.

Moon 10

Some good news finally reaches TalonClan as Fleckpaw and Rattlepaw have their apprentice ceremonies. They are apprenticed to Rainstar and Sprucefur respectively.

Piperleaf decides that he can use his insight to help TalonClan, and is promoted to Clan mediator.

While searching for herbs, Songheart hears the sounds of a cat in distress. They bring home Hollow, a beautiful queen having just given birth to a kit. Hollow names her kit Juniperkit as a reminder of the herb-gathering patrol that saved their lives.

Clangen Loner Challenge Rules

Disclaimer: I didn't come up with this challenge, just adjusting the rules to suite my fancy.

A great tragedy has befallen your clan, and few survivors remain. As their poor luck continues, their numbers dwindle further, until only a single cat is left behind. Carrying their dead clans legacy on their shoulders, and guided by generations of their ancestors, the sole survivor vows to rebuild, and restore their clan to its former glory.

Start your clan with the minimum of 7 cats, selecting either a kit or apprentice to be your Sole Survivor. By the end of moon 5, all other cats must be dead, leaving your Sole Survivor alone in the world.

Other Rules

Must always invite outsiders in when given the option

A cat must choose to become a medicine cat, you cannot force them into the role.

No leader or deputy can be appointed until the clan is at least 12 cats strong.

Cats must select their mates of their own accord

Any cat who gets Whitecough/greencough /yellowcough/redcough must be exiled for the safety of their clanmates.

Game-Mode: Expanded Settings:

Allow cats to breed with cats who aren't their mate: ON

Pregnancy Ignores Biology: OFF

Increase same-sex adoption: OFF

Allow cats to have a litter with an unknown second parent: ON

There was nothing different about that Leaf-Bare, not at first. Drizzlekit was two moons old when the first snow fell, leaping after the flakes as they fell. He spent most of his days outside, before it got too cold, his mother insistent that his antics would disturb Sunnydapple’s newborn kits, Slightkit and Sandykit.

Poppyfoot was the first to fall ill, but still, her Whitecough seemed mild, and the medicine cats believed she would recover quickly.

Things just kept going wrong after that, though. Leaf-Bare is a hard season; prey is scarce and sickness common, but this was something different. The prey ran so thin many warriors would go a day or two without to ensure the elders and kits were fed. The clan slept on empty stomachs, their pelts growing thin and ragged, ribs exposed to the cruel chill. The sickness spread steadily, making its way through the hunger-weak clan more quickly than they would’ve thought possible. What at first looked like mere Whitecough escalated, turning to severe Greencough. To their horror, Rippleclaw even began to suspect Yellowcough among them. When the sick outnumbered the healthy, and cats began to die, Whorlstar ordered the still-healthy cats to quarantine outside of camp.

Drizzlekit and his father, Frogspots, were still counted among the healthy cats of the clan. Together with Sunnydapple, Scorchroar, Rippleclaw, and a few others, they constructed a temporary den, far enough that they could just see the entrance to Scarletclan’s camp.

Drizzlekit huddled with Sunnydapple and her kits, desperately wishing his own mother, Volestripe, had been able to come with them. Though he was only four moons old, Drizzlekit began training with Frogspots and Scorchroar to hunt, bringing back what meager prey could be found in the icy forest. Keeping their strength up was of utmost importance, but so was feeding the sick cats who still remained within camp. 

Frogspots and Spiderfoot, the deputy and senior medicine cat respectively, took it upon themselves to continue caring for their sick clanmates. All other cats, including the younger medicine cat Rippleclaw, would remain quarantined. The two liaisons constructed their own temporary den, and stopped contact with the healthy cats. Drizzlekit could only watch his father from afar, dreading the day he began to cough and wheeze like the others.

Though the deputy and medicine cat tried their hardest, each day they found new bodies in camp. The clan was only getting weaker, dying slowly, and there was nothing else they could do.

When Spiderfoot fell ill, it was decided. The remaining healthy cats would leave, and try to start over somewhere new. By some miracle, Frogspots had not succumbed to sickness, and he became Frogstar, leader of what was left of Scarletclan. He appointed Sunnydapple as his deputy, and gave her his son Drizzlepaw to mentor, before they set out to find a new home.

(Intro) --- (Next) MOON 1 Frozen'Kit attempted to sneak out of camp this moon after Slight'Kit begged and BEGGED to be taken outside of camp to see the sunset. As she tried to sneak the youngster away, they were caught and scolded by Amber'Gaze, who was especially frustrated upon seeing Slight'Kit had a tiny stone in his paw. The poor kit was taken to Scale'Feather to get better. Frozen'Kit's apprentice ceremony was held back for this rule breaking and blatant endangerment, so it was only their sister Plume'Kit that joined the ranks of apprentice this moon, training with Heather'Paw

Starting on moon 0 on the shores of a rocky cliff face, yielding to the beating waves of the nearby ocean. Three fathers, Dazzle, Amber, and Scale, have taken on the beliefs of the clancats they've come across and created TumbleClan. Dazzle'Star's kits are far and away, Amber'Gaze's have either died or run away, and Scale'Feather brought along his only daughter, Heather. They work together to keep a space for the kits they've found, Plume'Kit and Frozen'Kit, a pair of sisters, and Slight'Kit, a fluffy stranger's kitten. Little do they know, but they will encounter cats from another culture, a monster roaming their home, learn about the spirits, make friends from outside their usual territory, Etc. Eventually, they'll learn how their culture is separate from the clan cats they met. The duties their members take on will differ from the typical clans. Their strongest beliefs, their greatest challenges, and their weaknesses will define them and how they live and die. Sleekrun was washed out to sea...

Mantisears and Eggsong have recovered from yellowcough.

Coalmark ate a poisonous fish and died.

Sungill has recovered from whitecough.

Dewspots easily fought off a fox with not a hair out of place.

Nimblerise and Peachwhisker purr over their three new kits. Wormkit, Peachkit, and Lichenkit.

Plumpaw and Shadowpaw sit tall and proud as Hopstar announces their warrior names, Plumfade and Shadowcreek! Hopstar honors and celebrates their determination and composure.

Moonpaw's leg is twisted and weak but they thank Starclan that it's at least still there.

Brindlepaw has proven themselves a capable and empathetic mediator so they are given the name Brindleroach.

Riversand gracefully returns to being an elder.

Whisperpeak has brought a single kitten into the world. Sootkit.

The camp flooded! The invading waters dragged away Daisyfin, Crookedbracken, Emberdapple, Gardeniasplash, Redocean, and Plumfade.

Quillpaw has been deemed ready and has returned from the last half-moon gathering as Quilldapple.

Sporepaw is made into Sporepelt! Just as they are being honored for their morale they have to quickly excuse themselves and rush to the dirtplace. They desperately hope these stomach problems get fixed soon.

Lightpaw has become Lightnoise! They are honored for their vulnerability.

Sunpaw and Mallowpaw have become apprentices! They happily touch noses with their mentors Mantisears and Dazzlenest.

Hyacinthquill has been made deputy in Crookedbracken's place.

Mantisears has found a cat with healing skills that wishes to join the clan. They introduce themselves as Lakeshimmer.

Hemlockpelt has announced that they are expecting kits!

Bearrain and Dewspots fought off a big dog together but both were badly injured.

A loner has left a kit with the clan only telling the cats the name they chose for it. Heather.

Moletangle caught their leg in some twoleg garbage and it was badly injured.

Buzzardpaw was attacked and injured by a fox.

Sporepelt's guts feel much better.

Mallowpaw has also injured their leg in twoleg garbage.

Hopstar has lived a very long and very successful life. As they lay in their nest surrounded by friends, family, and clanmates long past they slip away into inky darkness, finally ready to hunt in Starclan's ranks.

Hyacinthquill hesitantly becomes Hyacinthstar. ⭐

Dazzlenest's tail was injured by a fox.

Conchblaze has brought three kits to camp. Waterkit, Brushkit, and Slightkit.

Dewspots and Moletangle's injuries are becoming infected.

Thunderpaw has never felt ready. They always think that there is more to learn, more to memorize, more to ingrain into their very bones. They have declined a ceremony and name for a while as they always feel unsure and not ready. Until Freezespots appeared to them in their dreams. The wise medicine cat scolded Thunderpaw for their hesitance. "You are ready," they said, "You have been ready for some time now. The only thing holding you back is you. You are a smart and capable medicine cat. You deserve your name, Thunderfur."

Squidpaw and Moonpaw have become warriors. Hyacinthstar speaks each word carefully and with purpose as they name the new warriors Squidburn and Moonkick. Honoring their humor and strong will.

Oddspots has been chosen as the new deputy of Starlingclan.

Moon 40

Bouncedew bravely threw themselves over Heavykit after they catch a glimpse of a hawk diving towards the entrance of the camp where Heavykit was playing, saving the kit but becoming injured in the process.

Hawkbit's leg has healed with no evidence the injury was ever there.

Thistlepaw has been seen wandering Starlingclans border and sneaking off in the night only to return in the morning smelling of twoleg things. This night, however, they did not return at all. Hopstar and Pigeonfleck lead search patrols the next morning in search of the young cat only to find them dead on the border they often paced.

Pepperkit can feel the fight leaving their tiny body. Just one more moment until they succumb to the awful ache in their chest. Just one more heartbeat until death. They faintly feel a cold nose press against their cheek and hear an echoing voice tell them to "Live." Pepperkit wakes up and their chest is clear once again.

Duckflow almost lost their life to the merciless ocean but managed to swim back to shore.

Stormflicker tried to stutter out a confession to Freezespots but was swiftly turned down by their fellow medicine cat.

Sleekrun tried to confess their feelings to Darkpatch but was rejected as well. Whisperpeak gently lead the heartbroken cat out of camp for a walk along the beach and some moon gazing. Sleekrun appreciated the company and gesture.

Another injured Snipclan warrior is found at Starlingclan border begging for herbs and a place to stay. Freezespots quickly begins their work and is instantly worried about the condition of this cat's eyes. The new warrior nervously introduces themselves as Flutterbuzz.

Frostfreckle and Greenflip announce together that they are expecting kits. Freezespots opens their mouth to say something but Frostfreckle beats them to it by playfully agreeing to go on herb gathering patrols for the next moon.

Freezespots glares at one particular point on the camp wall. They can't tell what is making them so unnerved by that particular crack, perhaps starclan, perhaps intuition, but they just don't like it. Their unease is proved warranted when a thin line crawls its way out of the split in the stone. Freezespots hisses loudly and quickly jumps on the snake, killing it with one bite to the base of the head. They know not if this was the same snake that killed Slightkit those short moons ago but they feel as though they may have brought, if not the clan, then their tiny spirit some peace.

Saltpaw has proven themselves time and time again and though it may seem early to most Hopstar thinks that they are ready for their warrior name. Saltpaw is named Saltears at ten moons of age and is celebrated for their valor.

Cragshadow watched proudly as Heavypaw is apprenticed to Bouncedew, knowing that their kit is safe in their paws.

Frostfreckle and Greenflips kits have been born! Three precious little lives that both can't help but love more than life. Mantiskit, Crookedkit, and Oddkit.

Duckflow can breathe easily again.

Pepperpaw accidentally rams their nose into Sleekrun's face too hard. Thankfully their new mentor has a good sense of humor and laughs about it with them.

Frenpaw sits proudly beside Grousefleck, ready to take on any and every challenge their mentor may throw at them. Grousefleck feels ready for an apprentice, just, maybe not one this intense.

Heavypaw gets injured after being attacked by a large dog that had cornered a Jackdawclan warrior.

Roarpatch was gathering herbs with Freezespots when they smelled someone familiar. Roarpatch's heart hurts but they put on a smile and happily greet the spirit. Oh, how they wish they were still here.

Cragshadow tries to catch a rabbit on Jackdawclans border but was instead caught by a Jackdawclan warrior. The injuries gained certainly weren't worth a single rabbit.
