Rockfall (noun) – a mass of fallen rocks

With many cliffs, layers of unstable volcanic rock, and debris flows, there is plenty of rocky material moving around Mount Rainier. This rockfall plays a powerful role in shaping Mount Rainier’s glaciers. A layer of rockfall can actually insulate a glacier from melting, as was the case in 1963 when a rockfall from Little Tahoma Peak covered the lower Emmons Glacier with debris. As a result of decreased melting, the glacier advanced rapidly in the mid-1960s. This photo shows a large rockfall on the Winthrop Glacier in 1989. As glaciers melt, this abundant rockfall, along with rocky debris pulled up by the glaciers’ movement, is left behind in piles of rubble called terminal and lateral moraines and goes on to fill riverbeds.

Divorced Adderfang is just hilarious. Love how I’m not the only one who sees the slight gayness of Mudfur and Adderfang.

Does he still have his kits with Swiftbreeze or is it just Sunfall?

I think he’ll have Patchpelt with Swiftbreeze but it’s just him. This family just got a history with bad relationships since Patch goes on to leave his own family to be a kittypet lol (becoming Henry)

And he abandons Sunfall and his kits immediately once he’s told. Kinda has a record of loosing mates as well since Rockfall died in the famine, Swiftbreeze dies to illness and Sunfall is murdered. Makes sense why he’d connect with Mudfin who lost his own mate and was left with a kit. He’s the the straightest gay cat ever.
