i dont like the ship slingdom. i do not get it. i hate how its the most popular dom ship rn. the other day i saw a post where someone put cozyshot and crow dom next to each other and was saying stuff like "haha theres a dynamic here!" but like. what dynamic... thats a guy celebrating being comfy during christmas and a crow... genuinely i do not understand it and if someone could tell me what "dynamic" they have that would be great

personally i feel like they'd be better as high school sweethearts who had a just nasty and awful breakup. and now slingshot hates dom even though dom does not remember him because its been years. its just better and funnier to me then seeing them as actually romantically together

yes it is. i actually made this gif on tenor for them. i actually came up with the phrase!!

it’s like how medhammer (i don’t care much for medhammer just using it as an example) has cookies and yummy candy. other ship names are domshot and slingdom, the latter being a bit more popular on twitter.

also i recently learned a lot of people see me as the slingdom guy so Oops? that title goes to miles (pastryism on twt). i’m slingdom guy #2. thank yuo

SLINGDOM / DOMSHOT

ok people are actually willing to hear me out on slingdom!! look, i’m a sucker for coffee shop stuff and i think it’s a combination of that and . other things idk how to explain. part of it is this (from pastryism, the guy who came up with/popularized the ship, on twitter).

now i am obviously not miles so my take on slingdom is different. here’s how i think it went. and yes there’s the teeniest bit of coffee shop bullshit because i am a SUCKER for coffee shop bullshit and slingshot is the best character to do it with.

1. boombox takes slingshot to a flipside concert to introduce him to their music. slingshot sees dom. sling feels a bit attracted to dom. the usual. he ends up liking flipside music.

2. dom may of may not see him in the crowd and go “hey that guys cute”. it’s a bit hard to see faces in the crowd when you’re on-stage because you’re probably being blinded by lights.

3. time passes, whatever, they go on with their normal lives where they likely see each other in passing (with sling being a phighter) but not interacting much.

4. dom goes to slingshot’s café, where he actually has time to stop and talk to sling for a minute. they get along well and decide to stay in touch. they start hanging out and stuff. they become friends. they fall in love. make it the slowest burn imaginable to the point where you’re physically violent over them.

to me their personalities mash together in a way that Makes Sense. it’s my roman empire. slingdom my love
