I love how I’m the only one with a “good’ Illumina like- Windy’s kicked Darkheart out, Kai’s is just an asshole and the best Illumina villain I’ve seen so far. Kami’s is also bad to a degree-

Yes, before you make fun of me I am a A03 reader. I read Phighting fics. Every AU besides one of my personal favorites “Equalibrium” I think that’s how it’s spelt? Well Illumina is like- the good guy in this AU. Darkheart is the bad guy. It was a good change of pace for me to see a good Illumina. This fix also inspired my Venomshank account.

can phighting phandom artists not twinkify every character? thsi isnt rlly aimed at any certain artist (but if it were aimed, it’s probably that artist that draws medhammer with medkit as a literal genshin female.) i think that drawing phighting characters are a perfect opportunity to learn anatomy other than pre-teenage boy build. for example, characters like katana, zuka, ban hammer, maybe even hyperlaser. Now don’t get me wrong, i love all artstyles, but when the artist draws every character with the same build, i have a bit of a problem with that. Katana, Ban Hammer, & Zuka (ESPECIALLY Zuka,) are characters that you’d look at and say, “Yeah, that would be a big guy.” So when people look at their references and still give those characters the average body of a middle schooler, it’s kind of upsetting. Ofcourse you can draw them like that, it’s your style. But please, for the love of god, try to at least give them SOME muscle..

Jajajajaj, the person who just mentioned too much shipping have me another idea.

It think that, as a constant player of the game, I prefer not to hear much about ships unless it's jokingly, because I'm playing the game. But, for the most part, I don't see much of anything I can't ignore. If someone's yappering about Shuristaff, then i just turn off chat or simply ignore them, if I'm in crossroads as Subspace and I Frankenhammer comes up and starts being freaky, I tend to just laugh it off and move on, because people are just having fun.

It is a bit sad that there are kids in the fandom, but I personally don't think that anyone younger than 12 (which is the age recommendation for roblox as a whole) should be on the app without somewhere down the line seeing something they don't want to. Am I saying it's okay, no, but do I think that a kid who is actually interacting with other people has already seen worse yes. Then again, I'm a minor (a teen, if you care), so perhaps I'm just saying this so I can validate why I've been exposed to so much. I do try to keep things censored, though, and avoid joining especially explicit conversations. However, if people are joking around and chasing a Medkit yelling 'You're mine, bbg!', I couldn't care less. I think that if someone's willing to play the game and be kind to others, they can have some fun.

I do think that outside of the game, it IS very ship oriented, and honestly, whatever. If I'm not looking for that, I jist scroll past it. As I mentioned, I read fanfics for entertainment from time to time, and also to fill in gaps in lore, and maybe even so I have something sweet to read, or joke about with my friends. If I see Medhammer smut, I usually scroll past, and if I see someing I find to be problematic, I may take note to avoid that creator. Trust me when I say that this is the only site/blog I rant on.

Uhm, Idk if this counts as a hot take, but I'll try to make it one.

What I'm going for is to day that I do see a lot of shipping, especially ones where characters are mischaracterized or used for vile purposes, or even in ships that just personally suit my taste. Maybe I don't get the drama because I myself have my fair share of ships. I guess I just want to say that I think shipping is fine, but I don't like to see it shoved upon others as 'correct'. Hyperkit isn't 'correct', it's my personal preference. Medhammer isn't 'wrong' it's just something I don't usually indulge in.

This wasn't targeted. I just read the earlier post and got inspired. I think that their opinion is perfectly valid, and people who yap about ships in servers for long periods of times are a little annoying, I'm just saying it doesn't tend to bother me that much, because I'm usually there to play a match and/or hang out with friends.

I like talking and sharing opinions, please don't think I don't appreciate yours (though you probably don't care about whether or not I do, I'm just trying to not make people mad again 👍)

This may just be because I’m AroAce, but I… genuinely don’t see the appeal in most of the ships for this game?? This will mostly have Medkit ships because he gets shipped with everyone. I’m only giving a few examples, though.

SubKit is just two people who hate each other, have harmed each other to the point it caused permanent damage, and want each other dead (to the point of where one made it so his creations see the other as an enemy on sight). Sure, you all love “toxic yaoi”, but I think this seems a bit far. They pretty explicitly hate each other, to the point where I can’t see Enemies to Lovers working.

MedHammer? Ban’s job is to literally put people like Medkit in prison. They both have bigger problems. The two of them are also extremely rude to each other (I mean, they’re both rude to everyone.) (This ship is also partially ruined because of what the shipper are like. Dare I say, these two are the Sanmos of the Phighting community..)

MedBox? I don’t have much to say about this one other than Medkit is nothing but mean to Boombox, even though B.B tries so hard to be nice.

Swocket. This is probably where this will get called an L take, but… they’re just friends to me. My closest friends and I have the same dynamic as these two. Hell, my siblings and I have the same dynamic as they do. I don’t see how people can look at how these two act and be like “oh, they must love each other!”

HyperTana? Yes, yes, “old man yaoi” or whatever you call it. I just don’t see how these two could ever end up together. They have their own problems to deal with. Once again, this is one I can’t really complain about much.

SubStaff… this is my least favourite ship. Based off of dialogue, Vine just wants to help everyone, and Subspace does nothing but be rude when people don’t follow what he says and/or tells him what to do. In tons of the interactions these two have, Subspace snaps at Vinestaff when she wants to help or when she compliments him (in the case of the “That outfit is so cute!” dialogue).

On the other hand, I think Biograft and Vinestaff have a fun dynamic that more people should look at. I think Shuriken would also be fun with Biograft!

1- why do people ship medhammer i genuinely don’t understand how they would ever have chemistry, this also goes for any ship with subspace because that THING doesn’t deserve love/hj

2- i don’t get why people don’t like the follower sword is for tryhards? it looks neat and i really like the design!! you shouldn’t feel drawn back from playing with a specific skin cause other people don’t like it, same goes with catshot, cursedshot, stargazer, follower, and maybe cutiespace

4- i don’t get the medbox, shuribox, and vinederi ships SHIP WHAT YOU WANT! (as long as it isn’t incest or something) THATS NOT MY POINT, sometimes i don’t get how people see chemistry between characters!! please elaborate!! i don’t get it!!

Not sure about medbox or shuribox but vinedeeri started from Soda drawing Vinestaff and Ghosdeeri interacting with each other and people screamed “LESBIANS???!!!” at the top of their lungs when they saw it.
