PETUNIA, PANSY AND POPPY

petunia: who is your favorite character to write for? why?

I LOVED writing Arthur back in the Inception days. Eames was fun too, but I LOVED Arthur. I also personally love the fic I wrote for Slings and Arrows in a Jonathon Strange fusion so. That too.

Also, not gonna lie, writing Danno from H50 was such a treat because I could just let me old NJ voice come through. It’s nice when you don’t have to research the nearest park’s name or crossstreets or whatnot because you grew up there and there’s not a goddamn corner you don’t know.

pansy: do you keep your blog a secret to people you know personally?

Funny story, I used to. I didn’t, like, intentionally try to stay hidden and the tracks between me and real life me are easy peasy if you know me in rl. But I had all sorts of internalized shame about fandom stuff so I was just....not telling people I was on tumblr. I used to barely admit to the things i liked so obsessively in rl. I would be like, “hahaha avengers, who had time for that film, amirite” and bullshit like that. But I slowly got over it and then had a couple of great encounters will tumblr people in rl and it was all great.

and then a *professional* rl person found me on tumblr. Thankfully, she is A+ people and I probs won’t be in the same professional sphere as her again, but it shocked the sHIT outta me. It went well and I’m pretty open about my fannish ways in rl now. Basically, I hardly keep the boundary at all anymore.

I’m still very, very unassuming/introverted in person so I will almost always run away from in person contact with tumblr peoples, even if the meeting goes very well.

poppy: do you write your fics right here on your tumblr drafts? if not, where?

I write ficlets on tumblr sometimes when the mood strikes me. I am working on a novel now, though, so that’s what I write when I write rn.
