T H A N K F U L Day 18: Celebrate #21daysinmyartworld Personally, I have chosen to mix this prompt up a bit today. I don’t feel that comfortable “celebrating” at the moment but I definitely feel thankful. It’s important during these very hard times to stay thankful for the things we have that make us happy, the people who keep us sane and the networks that keep us going creatively! I am so thankful for having my studio, still receiving commissions (even during these tough times and dark days), selling work I am proud of, exhibiting artwork in local stores (despite galleries being closed), having a great group of friends and family supporting my drive to move to full-time artist this year. I am thankful that I trusted myself to follow my dream and it is successful, despite being told (so many times) it wouldn’t work and I should get a ‘real job’. But on certain days I am really thankful that I get to smash rocks with a hammer! Not only does it release any stress but it also means I will have another beautiful earth pigment in my studio to add to my growing collection.
