not a single visual gag was missed. the home alone homage was overt but still fun and fresh. the rich family of assholes was a delight. main critique is that the villain is kind of meh and I didn't find his motivation compelling. slight roughness in the dialogue from time to time. came for david harbour stayed for everything else. would much rather watch this than die hard any day. four stars

If we do get a book about the in-between period from Rebels to Ahsoka covering Ezra and Thrawn's time on Peridea (hopefully not by Tim Zahn or at least I hope he keeps his dumbass "Those were empty buildings" retcon to himself and his Thrawn apologism to a minimum) I really have only one request and that is to please let Ezra be an absolute menace.

different anon but honestly i love the bickering. it's so amusing. i thought the way they would snark at each other in the early episodes was really fun and it doesn't surprise me that lucy would just fall back into that habit. i do think lucy is testy but at the same time, i'm not sure i'd be much better if the ex that i'm still mad at and not really over was always around and kept wanting to talk to me. we also know alr that lucy doesn't really have a filter, not the way kate does. at the same time, i like that in the sneak peak kate kind of gently pushed back at lucy's attitude! like she'll take criticism of her actions in a relationship, but not undue criticism of her work. very well done characterisation

Ooh thanks for this! I agree Lucy is "testy" (@cxanmen used the word "antagonistic" and I really like that descriptor, too). Lucy definitely sucks at filtering herself and also you can just /feel/ her frustration at being forced into contact with Kate. Like how do you heal or move on when the person who hurt you is /literally/ standing over your shoulder?? As a #kacy shipper, I'm like this is perfect they need to be around each other so they can get back together!! But for Lucy I'm sure it is a special kind of torture (at least for now).

And yeah, I liked seeing Kate pushing back against the Attitude from Lucy. I think Kate probably hates conflict/dealing with feelings in her personal life, but in her professional life she doesn't back down, she doesn't give in, and honestly I think professional conflict fuels her. So yeah, I'm into that!! And also Bring Back Mean Kate 2k22!!

just woke up from a nightmare where I ran three red lights by accident, realized somehow my car wasn't turned on, drove onto a bridge right as it was hit with a massive stroke of lightning that broke it in half and blacked out, saw the local news site had 1. turned completely red all over (like literally) and 2. was covered headlines that all said "yep, you just became one of the many LGBTQ citizens trapped in a new zombie blood time apocalypse" so uh. I think I might be stressed out :/
