The first baby from SM23 has popped their enormous head out to say hello to life!
Hmm, wait, their enormous head seems to be kinda stuck.
They were trying to rotate and get back into the egg and I could see they were having a tough time.
Not to worry, I grabbed my forceps and ripped their peephole a tiny bit so they could be comfortable.
They're fine.

The first out from KJA23 is just a doll. They very politely climbed right into my hand to be transferred to their hatchling tub.

This little one from HC23 is the size and temperament I was expecting from this clutch. They're calm, curious, and big!

This is the third baby from BDJB23 and they're just the sweetest. Curious and deliberate, they were easy to coax into my hand and slow to disembark into their hatchling box.

SM23 is so far big, calm babies with enormous freaking heads and not a great sense of spatial awareness.
I've had to rescue two already when they got their big fat heads stuck in their egg shells.

I had a really terrible headache today and zonked out as soon as I got home from a 7-hour class.
Woke up at 11pm with an earring stuck to my face and the realization that I forgot to check on PSD23. They're lanky like their dad and sweet as pie like their mom.
I love it when I put the babies in their hatchling tub and instead of noodling off to their humid hide they come right back and reach for my hands.
