Oh my friends, my friends forgive me
That I live and you are gone
There's a grief that can't be spoken
There's a pain goes on and on
[...]
Oh my friends, my friends
Don't ask me what your sacrifice was for
Empty chairs at empty tables
Where my friends will sing no more

Food for thought for those being contradictory in their criticism of mikasa.

Hi! So, I don't know if this is official but yeah, i want to know ur opinion abt this? I came to u bcoz ur opinion seems so logically correct all the time. Im sorry if this is a spoiler to the next chapter 😔
Hello Anon,
No problem about this. I saw this coming since the leaks started coming out about the three major character deaths.
For those who don’t want spoilers on chapter 136, please do not click the ‘Keep Reading.’
Disclaimer: I have not seen the panels yet but I have seen leaks confirming the death. I am 90% sure of the death but I still hope I’m wrong.
I suspected Levi to be the one to die since they first mentioned 1 scout and 2 titan shifters. In fact they narrowed it down when they mentioned it wasn’t one of the cadets. If it were connie or jean or mikasa, they probably could have mentioed cadets. Why did they mention scouts? So it had to be him.
Also, I had an idea of the kind of story Isayama would be telling from the start.
And I suspected since Hange’s death that Levi would be following soon. Levi would be deadweight in the battlefield and when he started coughing blood, I knew he would be a goner. With three chapters left, and an urgent battle, who would have the time for first aid right?
And here is one painful truth I had to accept when I considered the deaths of all the characters.
This has always been the story of Eren, Mikasa, Armin and the cadets. It was never Levi’s story. It was never Hange’s story.
As much as I love Levi and Hange as characters, they were never the main characters of this story. Levi and Hange have always been the supporting cast, as painful as it is for me to say. They stayed alive long enough to give both Mikasa and Armin the character development they needed. Hange died so Armin could be commander. Levi died to give Mikasa the Ackerman memories.
Do I like where it’s going? I’m a Levi and Hange stan. Of course I don’t.
Do I believe somehow it is a fitting end? No I don’t but I would definitely have found it an odd message for Yams to give the audience if he decided to kill the cadets and make Levi or Hange save the day. He has been telling a story about children being the future, youth etc. Like what message would he be giving the audience letting Levi and Hange save the day in the final battle right? Especially after he spends hundreds of chapters building Mikasa and Armin as the main characters.
Tbh, Kudos to Yams for staying through to his story. Where I live, Levi is trending. People are shouting curses at Yams. But Yams actually did it. He killed Levi for the development of the main characters of this story.
And yeah, I’m mourning.
Then after, I’m gonna go back to my fanfiction cave where Levi and Hange are the main characters

Guys the leaked pages are not "leaks" in the strictest sense, they are official previews for chapter 136. This fact indicates all text spoilers are safely considered fake for now, also there is no guarantee real leaks are coming today as there's only official content so far.
Take those info with a grain of salt.
Stay tuned! :)

SNK 136: initial thoughts
finally finally finally! good god what a wait
Mr Leonhart seems to know this Secretary Muller guy — spitballing here but maybe Muller infiltrated the Marleyan army like Kruger?
Levi seems near the end, but it was good to see him displaying authority this chapter. Still remembering Erwin :,(
There was good humour in this chap, with Isayama lampshading how confusing some of the ancient nine look and Annie stopping herself from asking about Armin
There has to be significance to the ”pig” titan, surely?
As expected of Pieck.. those multiple transformations were awesome to see. The interaction between her and Jean was funny too
It was cool to see the the strength of the rapport between everyone: Jean telling Mikasa that they have to kill Eren, Annie acknowledging Bertolt, Connie speaking facts, Annie saving Mikasa etc.
Finally Armin (and Isayama by extension) is acknowledging his failure to act when it matters. I feel, like Zeke, Eren and even Historia, Armin shows the danger of placing too much stock into someone’s capabilities. Now the weight of his responsibilities and all the expectations have crippled him.
Overall this chapter felt like another set-up chapter.
Next chapter predictions:
We’ll find who Secretary Muller is
We will learn about Zeke and the Pig Titan
Someone will reach the detonator.
