—    BASICS.  

▸     IS    YOUR    MUSE    TALL    /    SHORT    /    AVERAGE ?  Hiyori is... extremely short and has been the same damn 133 cm for about 200 years and this MAKES HER SO DAMN ANGRY!!!!!! She is so short and so damn underestimated that she has literally made it her life’s mission to break people’s kneecaps and aim for the balls.

▸      ARE    THEY    OKAY    WITH    THEIR    HEIGHT ?  NO. She is not okay with her tiny lil build and often becomes extremely jealous of women who are... uh... normal. And don’t look like a child.

▸      WHAT’S    THEIR    HAIR    LIKE ? 

IT IS CLASSICALLY CUTE AND ANYONE THAT THINGS TWINTAILS ARE AN OLD HAIRSTYLE CAN JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP!  Hiyori’s hair is a little unruly and the colour of straw. Despite it looking as spiky as her personality, it’s pretty soft. Not as smooth and nice looking as Orihime’s. But Orihime is a heroine so fuck off.

▸     DO    THEY    SPEND    A    LOT    OF    TIME    ON    THEIR    HAIR     /    GROOMING ? 

Okay. Hiyori pretends not to spend a lot of time - but she does. She huffs and shoves pins into her hair and tries to arrange her fringe to look cuter. She only knows this one hairstyle. It was taught to her by Kirio and she loves it.  Recently, when she was cut up and couldn’t actually move, she tried watching youtube videos and learn some different hairstyles but didn’t really have the skill or patience to do anything except messy lil buns on top of her head.

▸      DOES   YOUR   MUSE   CARE   ABOUT   THEIR   APPEARANCE   /   WHAT    OTHERS    THINK ? 

No. Hiyori doesn’t spend a lot of time on her appearance at all. If she’s brushed her teeth in the morning that’s a good sign. She’s usually very bad at grooming and whatever she learned from Kirio in her lieutenant days has flown out of the window. She wears the same sorts of baggy, shapeless outfits every day, shoves her feet into flip-flops and is out the door. As long as she has her jacket on, she has her armour on. She spends zero time on herself because she has accepted the fact that she’s a little goblin and decides there’s no point wasting time on trying to make herself look better when she can’t change her face or her body. 

Also no clothes or styles suit her or fit her for her size. The only time she bothers to make herself look nicer is in traditional kimono, but even then those are usually messed up in about 10 minutes.

She doesn’t care what others think though? She hates them anyway.

Of course.. the people she doesn’t hate - she cares about what they think. She’s quite insecure when it comes to finding out what Shinji thinks because she already knows the answer. She’s not his type or his first love and it... kinda depresses her. But then she gets over it after smacking him around a little. 

Besides, after being cut in half and then learning how to sit and walk and fight again... you love your tiny, scarred body and the way it is still alive and keeping you upright and independent. It took her a long time to accept it but she has embraced it. It’s filled with vitality and spirit and fight and she’ll stop oppressing herself about it.

—    QUESTIONNAIRE.

▸      WHAT    ARE    SOME    OF    YOUR    MUSE’S    BAD    HABITS ?  Right, I’ll just uhh... condense it down because Hiyori has a lot of terrible habits (including the bad grooming habits described above). Her worst habit is obviously her violent temper. She is ridiculously easy to trigger and is quite extreme about how she handles it. Her anger consumes her and like fire, she burns everything to the ground. Anyone within range of her horrible temper is not spared. And that’s not just one or two occasions where she flies off the handle, but it’s a very frequent occurrence. Another bad habit is her abysmal communication skills. Hiyori’s very rude and dismissive towards others, even to people that she considers a very close friend. Hiyori has relied on Shinji to do all the talking for her and smooth her relationships with others- such as Kisuke, even the other vizard, even Ichigo...   She hates opening up about things that hurt her. Things that she holds close. Her worries and insecurities and covers them all up in her violence and anger and pretends that it’s better to be tough and keep everyone away from her- so that they have no chances to abandon you or hurt you. This backfires a lot in her face.

She’s actually learning now that this method hasn’t really worked well for her. And obviously... some things need to be said rather than just felt.

▸     HAS    YOUR    MUSE    LOST    ANYONE    CLOSE    TO    THEM ?      HOW    HAS    IT    AFFECTED    THEM ? 

Hiyori lost her beloved captain - not to death or illness - that might have been easier to deal with. No. It was to a promotion. She lost all contact with Kirio and it was sudden and aching and it felt very much like an abandonment. Naturally, she did not take it well. She closed her heart even more to anyone that wanted to get to know or care about her. She was abusive and rude to her next captain and took out all her hurt out on him. She was a terrible mess. It was just the fact that there was no goodbye? Not a single thing had prepared Hiyori for this departure and when someone you love just fades out of your life like that... you tend to lash out. Hiyori eventually learned to suck it up and get over it. Just carry on being a lieutenant of the 12th division. But without Kirio, her heart wasn’t even in it any more. She really found it difficult to be excited about Kisuke’s vision for the 12th and felt more and more like an outcast in her own division. This had been her home but with Kirio gone, any stability she held was  gone. 

Even now, Hiyori lives with the expectation of being abandoned by the people she cares about the most.

Of course, when Shinji and the others left to return to soul society, she didn’t take it well. She was furious and was even more devastated than when Kirio left. She did not speak to any of them for months and didn’t even bother saying goodbye. Of course, she had private crying sessions in her room - because she had known them so well... they had all agreed soul society sucked and so why were their hearts so different on the matter??? 

However, the time apart from her friends, especially Shinji has been a lot more beneficial than she thought. Hiyori is not nearly as reckless. Has to actually think about what she says to others because Shinji isn’t here to smooth things over. And also... the time she does spend with her friends is a lot more  precious.  

▸      WHAT    ARE    SOME    FOND    MEMORIES    YOUR    MUSE    HAS ? 

All the dumb stuff they got to do in the world of the living. Her best times were with her friends as a lieutenant in seireitei.

▸     IS    IT    EASY    FOR    YOUR    MUSE    TO    KILL ? 

No. Hiyori finds it very difficult to draw her blade upon her friends or even many others. Whilst she barely needs a reason to beat people up - killing and ending lives is still something she finds exceedingly difficult. Hiyori has lived through both world wars and her hatred for humans has stemmed from those atrocities humans have committed against each other.

Even facing Aizen, she had to let him know why she was the way she was. And why she would be taking his life. It was very important to her that Aizen was aware of what she felt and why she would end his life. She also never blamed Tousen or Gin for any of their faults. 

Despite her hatred for shinigami - she never hurt a single one. She just wants nothing to do with them.

▸      WHAT’S    IT    LIKE    WHEN    YOUR    MUSE    BREAKS    DOWN ? 

Uhh... not nice? Hiyori is usually very expressive and so often just breaks things and people’s noses or something - - but she can count on one hand that she’s cried in her life. I don’t think

▸      IS    YOUR    MUSE    CAPABLE    OF    TRUSTING    SOMEONE    WITH    THEIR    LIFE ?

The vizard. Kisuke. She will trust them with her life.

What? WHO SAID THAT?! She’ll beat you up for spreading filthy lies!

Short answer: She’s bad?? And awkward and quite uncomfortable. What do you do with a boyfriend? How often does it eat? How long do you need to take it out for on walks???

Hiyori… obviously has not much luck in the romantic love department. She doesn’t look attractive and has a foul temper and it just gets worse and worse when pretty women surround the person that she likes. She tries to shrug it off and act like she doesn’t care but maybe she does. A bit - but she will never do much about it (ways she says i love you).

But despite all her faults, Hiyori’s love is... pure. It’s passionate and it doesn’t come with an expiry date or any strings attached. If she loves you, she loves you for free.-- She’s honest (lmaao...okay sometimes) and passionate. And loyal. Damn is she loyal. If you have Hiyori’s trust, you have it for life. So guard it with your very being.

Okay, so you have probably seen other accounts summarize our lovely chat before. And if you’re curious to know who started the whole thing, it was me! And in the six months the chat has been up, I have seen so many personalities come together. Now, I will summarize each member how I see them everyday.

@kurisuumakise - Has a cookie jar we are not allowed to touch, writes angst that kills us all, is the English major student you go to for tutorial, says she’s the saving voice of the chat but really edges us on, will make a power point out of you, has the longest iTunes and manga list I have ever seen in my entire life, cannot call her unnie, and has four hour long art streams.

@yatorihell - (Fake Brit) Drunk aunt, also a grandma, loves Game of Thrones, models her fics after said show, eyebrows be on fleek, has a liver made of steel, will drop a class is she learns only the basics, writes angst when fluff is demanded, is the only person who would kill over ten people in a fic, have to spray with water daily, makes dark deals with pip, and will call you babe or nerd.

@eerna - VERY PRETTY AND CUTE, gets excited over smol and meaningful things, is cute when excited, DRAWS SO HELLA WELL LIKE GIVE ME YOUR TALENT, is the savior of the chat, the responsible sister who gives you health facts when you’re about to do wrong, writes really well too, is so created like pls, lives in a place we like to assume is not real, and is open to share new ideas.

@skadventuretime - Hey mom, is legit the mom of the group, she is not in often, so we’re actually partying in her absence, but when she appears the whole chat acts like angels, has written character death before, we act like angels but she writes angst frequently, is the inspiration to us all, if she saw what we all did for a living... we would be grounded, and she’s a hard working grad school student.

@hiyoris-scarf - Writing senpai, likes to pretend that fanny packs are not fanny packs, has a habit of pulling apples outta nowhere, is high on alcohol life, sends videos of her cat, IS SO FUCKING PRETTY GOSH, went to Europe and came back a different person, is the definition of tumblr aesthetic, is extremely bad at lying over message, has had experiences in airplanes and writes smut for a living.

@omnismith - Local kazubisha fan, swoons at many things, fact checks everything, looks up the meanings of Adachitoka detail, comes up the best headcanons and imagines for Noragami, also says some painful things about kazubisha, slowly became corrupted by the chat, judges the chat when she’s on, and is honestly the nicest person ever. 

@godinatracksuit - WIFEY, likes to go on walks, takes pictures of her dogs and nature, is very outdoors-y aesthetic, will literally send me a box of potatoes one day, judges the beaches in Florida, HAS THE BEST AND CUTEST AU EVER, can also sing like multi-talented, has to make us all coffee one day, first started out in the kazubisha chat and the moved over, and we have corrupted her.
