Pwp 2 (I'm gonna tell you the truth theres actually 3 different fic ideas written on this doc. But here's a snippet from one of them!)

Buck always tried his best to listen. No matter what any of his grade school teachers would say about his attention span, the truth is he tried.

He tried really hard, but sometimes he just couldn’t.

So when Eddie asked him to stay where he was, that he would be just two minutes because he’d forgotten to get something at the last store, Buck had tried really, really hard to do as he was told.

It’s not his fault that he was left outside a toy store where the remote-controlled car Christopher had been begging to have for his birthday was on sale.

And okay, it was a little his fault when he moved to the store a few doors down selling lingerie that he desperately wanted to buy for him. He wanted to be pretty for Eddie, okay?

And yes, it was one hundred percent his fault when he left both stores with a shopping bag in each arm and proceeded to have no idea where exactly he now was.

It’s not like Eddie was his minder or anything, he can do things himself, it’s just that Eddie totally is, and now Buck is sitting at the customer service desk patiently waiting as Eddie’s name is announced over the loudspeaker.
