sent my dad some extremely vulnerable and honest texts about his parenting and immediately turned on "hide alerts" for his contact. at some point i will have to face whatever his response is, but that day is not today.

#being very angry at him was not working lol so i decided to try a 'this is why i don't trust you' tack #we'll see how that goes #i was like 'do you remember early in the pandemic when you and stepmom told me you were here for me if i needed someone to #talk to‚ and i laughed in your face? this is why.'#i would have stopped trying long ago but my siblings still live there #so he'll tell me some dumbass thing about his parenting related to my siblings and then i get mad on their behalf #the last time i was this real in front of him was when he told me and stepmom and my siblings that stepmom's body belongs to him #and therefore he can touch her whenever he wants even if she doesn't want him to #said that in front of my young siblings. they were probably idk 6 and 8 or younger at the time #i fucking lost it. yelled at him for a while. then sent him a long and emotional facebook message lol #my sister got really stressed but only because i was yelling...the rest of it was so normal to her
