You love sweets? Well you’re in luck because if Draco Malfoys got a crush on you he will smother you with sweets. When you start dating, he will drown you in them.

I whole heartedly think Draco fucks with rainy days. Like he loves them. He’ll sneak into your House’s girls dormitory just to cuddle while it’s raining. Or go on walks through the castle in while it’s raining. He’ll probably stop every now and then to gaze out the windows with you.

He likes hanging out with you when you’re doing quiet things like reading writing. It gives him time to think (he always thinks clearer when you’re with him.) And honestly he just enjoys that peaceful quietness.

Probably wasn’t an anime fan at first bc it’s muggle stuff, but when you start watching it when you two are hanging out over the holidays, he is shook. Like he actually really likes it. Makes you swear you won’t tell anyone though. Probably ugly cried while watching Naruto Shippuden. Will write you letters after every episode ranting about what happened. He’s also a Sasuke stan for sure.

Will constantly make references to anime’s you’ve watched together. Honestly, he’s such a weeb :) but if anyone overhears he will probably deny that he ever watched any muggle stuff.

Idc what anyone says I think that Draco actualky enjoys watching comedies. He gets a kick out of how stupid the characters actions are. Probably roasts them through the screen when you watch comedies together.

Draco will spoil you. Like if you’re his gf he is going to make sure everyone knows. That means he will buy you anime merch, jewelry, helllaaa sweets and honestly anything you lay eyes on tbh. If you want it he’ll buy it. 😌✨

I don’t know what your Hohwarts house is but your appearance gives me Slytherin vibes. So that plus the height difference makes him melt. I feel like height differences make anyone melt but like, anyways. His ego Inflates everytime you’re walking together because you’re just so much shorter than him it makes his heart swell. Will make height jokes 24/7.

Be prepared for him to duel anyone who bothers you. He is the ultimate protective boyfriend. I repeat, the ultimate! Like if anyone makes you cry or upsets you just know that he will come for them.

So I know him and Draco may be very opposite but believe me I can see this one. Trust the process ✨

Just like Draco he’d dig the height difference 100% like he would have to make sure everyone knows he’s taller than you. Also because of the height difference you’re small enough for him to pick you up and give you piggy backs. He loves literally carrying you anywhere.

Honestly, he’s not a super tease, but he can’t help himself. Whether you like it or not he’ll call you “short stuff” or “short cake.” If you don’t mind being called those things, he’ll say them all the time. If you don’t like them, he’ll say them when he is in the mood for teasing or play fighting, just to rile you up.

Kiba loves sweets too, like sure he eats healthy stuff as well, but he never misses out on sweets. After training or missions you two will meet up and go pick up something sweet to eat. Or you surprise eachother by greeting them with some desserts. Like instead of meeting him after a mission you’ll greet him at the gate with a box of treats instead. He will flex it on everyone who was on the mission with him. “See that Shino? My girlfriend brought me this!”

You both like the rain but for different reasons. You like it to relax and wind down to, but he likes it because he can run around with Akamaru and really make a mess in it. So you both have to find a balance there. Like you’ll eventually give in and run through the rain with him on a walk or something and he’ll eventually settle to cuddle and listen to the rain through the window while you read or write. You both secretly enjoy doing those things too.

Man he loves comedies, like he rolls on the floor or laughs till there are tears in your eyes. You probably end up laughing at him instead of what’s actually on the tv.

Also I could see him really liking anime’s like naruto LOOL. He likes action packed anime’s and probably ends up getting super invested in some of the shows. Which makes it all the more enjoyable to watch them with him.

Man he loves listening to music too, thing is he’s sorta over confident about his own music taste. Like he really thinks he’s the shit when it comes to music. So you’ll probably have to wrestle for the aux cord, but this is Kiba so he lowkey digs it.

You probably smell like books and sweets to Kiba bc we know he has that super human scent. So, whenever you are walking around the village without him, you probably end up encountering him on the following street. Once he catches your scent he’s gone, like he could be walking with Shino and Hinata to get some ramen after a mission and all the sudden he catches your scent and he’s running that direction.

Read to him. Literally read to him I beg you. Like honestly he’s energetic asf so when you want to cuddle he needs to be completely drained of energy. He loves you voice so, in order to get him all sleepy and in the mood to cuddle, you just start reading out loud. Boy that’s like a trance and next thing you know he’s asleep on your lap. Not because you’re boring him, but because your voice soothes him.

Problematically Good and Problematically Bad Deuteragonists

[Spoilers Ahead]

I've been in the My Hero Academia fandom for a while now. I've also been in recently introduced to the Invader Zim fandom because of the hype surrounding the movie (it was well worth watching through the entire series for). That was when I noticed something about the two series:

Deuteragonists.

Now, I'm not entirely sure if Jhonen Vasquez meant for Dib to become Zim's deuteragonist, but Kohei Horikoshi is not subtle about Katsuki being Izuku's deuteragonist. What's interesting is that the two dynamics are inherently problematic for different reasons, but one of them works, and the other doesn't. Let me explain:

Probematically Good: Zim and Dib

Now, just because their dynamic is arguably better doesn't make it all that great. Zim wants to conquer the Earth and remove Dib out of the picture through various means, while Dib wants to expose and experiment on Zim for his own gain. They both want to one up the other for their own gratification. But as much as they hate each other's guts, their relationship is astonishingly symbiotic, as I've mentioned in a previous post.

The important key to their dynamic is that there's a balance. At any given moment, they can switch their narrative roles: Zim as the protagonist and Dib as the antagonist, or Dib as the protagonist and Zim as the antagonist. There are also times where both Zim and Dib are the protagonists, but usually begrudgingly so, and only because a more antagonistic force is at play.

That and they are completely willing to work together if the situation calls for it, like escaping the nightmare realm in Dib's head, or foiling Tak's plan to dominate the Earth. The only time Zim and Dib don't work together is during "Planet Jackers," but that was before either of the previously mentioned instances, and on top of that, there was no logical incentive for Dib to join Zim. (In the Halloween special, Dib accidentally drags Zim into his head, and with Tak, Zim shows Dib pictures of the giant weanie stand, bringing out his suspicions.)

Even if the characters hate each other's guts, they recognize each other to the same extent, and also understand their capabilities. Their dynamic may not be completely healthy, but it is balanced (which is ironic considering it's between an eccentric alien conqueror and a prodigious 12 year old boy).

Probematically Bad: Izuku and Katsuki

This is probably the first problem with Izuku and Katsuki's dynamic: it is NOT equal.

In recent chapters, mostly after Deku vs Kacchan 2, Horikoshi tries to make it seem like the dynamic is equal, but paying close attention makes it clear that it isn't.

Even disregarding Izuku and Katsuki's toxic past, the dynamic is still unequal. Katsuki is unnecessarily a douche who likes throwing around his brawn and other signifiers of superiority whenever possible. He's started mellowing out a bit, but his asshole attitude and self centered tendencies are still present when they don't have to be. You can still be a conceited and hot headed individual without being 100% of a self centered egotist. What's even worst is how Izuku, Katsuki's basic counter in nearly every way possible, sing Katsuki's praises to hell and back while Katsuki constantly tells him off, even though Katsuki should like praise?

Zim and Dib are foils, too, but their dynamic is more complimentary, while Izuku and Katsuki's dynamic is more counterintuitive.

Katsuki is condescending and completely one track minded, similar to a certain Irken invader. However, Zim actually recognizes that even he isn't the greatest being in the galaxy, and is willing to work with others without complaint, except maybe Dib. How many times has Zim asked GIR, Computer, and even Minimoose to come to his aid? I can only think of one instance where Katsuki willingly accepted helo without backing himself into a corner (the Kamino hand hold, if you were curious). He only worked with Izuku during final exams because he got himself decked, both by All Might and even Izuku. He onky handed Denki the grenade during the Provisional License Exam because he recognized he wasn't getting out of this on his own, and if Denki and Eijiro hadn't followed him, he'd be another flesh ball and likely would have failed the exam there.

Compare that to Izuku, who is actively willing to help others, and actualky takes some time to think through things without immediately resorting to fisticuffs. He sees the potential in everybody, and holds his peers up in a high regard. Katsuki only holds people up with begruding respect, and while he has been getting better, his character development is sad compared to the other characters, like Shoto or even Tenya.

What's worse is that there's nothing mutual about their relationship. They aren't each other's compliments; they're each other's counters. Katsuki is willing to verbally (and previously physically) bash Izuku over and over, but Izuku always looked towards him with respect, only resorting to physical confrontation with Katsuki if he wanted to help him. Even learning about One for All has done nothing to help further advance Katsuki as a character. He acts like Izuku and All Might forced the secret on him even though he clearly threw a tantrum about it in order to get Izuku to tell the truth, thinking it would explain how he passed the Provisional License Exam even if Izuku's strength had nothing to do with it. Katsuki even goes as far to say that he'd be able to use all of One for All's quirks at a point where Izuku could barely use one, and Izuku believes him, even though a) It's clear that, strength aside, there's a psychological component to the additional quirks, and b) Katsuki was beaten by All Might, and by that logic, if he wanted to use all of One for All's additional quirks, he'd have to be as strong (if not stronger) than All Might to use all the quirks properly. We know Katsuki is stronger now, but he probably still isn't All Might levels of strength yet. And Izuku just blindly agrees with Katsuki because clearly, Katsuki could do no wrong. Sure, he has a few troublesome bits, but he's overall great hero quality. Well, strength aside, he's not, but that's a debate for another time.

Conclusion

I guess what I'm trying to say is this:

Zim and Dib both hate each other, but they also properly acknowledge one another and are willing to work with each other and others when necessary. They both have their good and bad points, but that only adds to their worth in their dynamic and as characters.

Izuku admires Katsuki as a Symbol of Victory, but Katsuki probably thinks of Izuku as barely human, going out of his way to assert dominance even when it's completely unnecessary, while Izuku is still willing to trail behind him all the while. Izuku is a good person, while Katsuki is a bad person who's just barely learning to be a good person.

TL;DR Zim and Dib are a good example of problematic deuteragonists and can occasionally act as good deuteragonists, whil Izuku and Katsuki's deuteragonists dynamic is completely counterintuitive since the narrative and Katsuki refuse to shape up, and since Izuku is the only positive force in the relationship, leaving it imbalanced, problematic, and overall bad.

Hmm i think i may have possibly settled on an idea for how to rewrite Kin and Gin to be more complex and potentially redeemable.

Gonna focus on The Big Family Love, because these siblibgs caring about each other so much its literally their battle power is already their best and only slightly sympathetic trait

So i was thinking about the whole 'hey here's another third sibling in the third version of the game' thing and had a BIG BRAINWAVE

What if kin and gin want to turn back time to fix a mistake in their past? And all the evil they do with manipulating other people's pasts is something that they regret having to do buy see as a necessary evil in order to achieve their goal.

Their goal? Bronzlow.

Why did he not appear in the original version of the game and wasnt even mentioned? Because he was DEAD.

Kin and Gin's goal in life is to save their baby brother who died when they were children. Maybe his 'funny' clumsiness and struggle to keep up with his sisters was very much not funny in this original timeline. One day the twins were teasing him over something or other, he messed up yet again and got their kite caught in a tree or something. And they were supoosed to be responsible when looking after the lil guy, but on that day they just happened to be a little short tempered with him and made the stupid decision to yell at him to get the kite back even though they knew he wasnt good at climbing. It was just a stupid mistake of some kids who were probably too young to be put in charge of babysitting their brother. He just.. Fell. Everything was over so fast. And it felt like time had forever stopped at that moment.

So they spent their whole lives trying to find a way to bring him back to life, even doing forbidden magic to become yokai and gain the power they needed to bend time. And they grew old and cynical and slowly lost their grip on morality, because the guilt just kept hauntinh them and the closer they got to making their dream come true the more they became tempted to let go of morals and hurt people in the desperation to finally achieve it...

And then this would be a good excuse for me to lets play one of the original versions of the game and then also the third one. And it could be interesting to set it up like this story with my oc is actually left hanging on the first playthrough and only fully completes after the third game. Like its all in the same continuity as if Mallory really did experience both games! Kin and gin's time travel messing up the future could be a good excuse to show all the different versions as alternate universe type things! And have it so that at some point Bronzlow just suddenly appears without explanation and everyone acts like he was always there. Which would lead to the reveal of the whole backstory and like.. Bronzlow is here now and looks like how he would if he'd lived a full long life, because their plan is almost complete. Theyre always sassing him and he's all funny comic relief but really all alpng he mattered more to them than anyone else and theyre so happy to see him again. And getting to see him again has made them so desperate to make it real that they'd even collapse time and space itself just to not have to let go of him again! Like what if some of his 'funny clumsy moments' are actually like.. Signs that he's not completely saved and the paradox is trying to correct itself? Like he doesnt remember that he died but his sisters do, he's just like 'wow i felt kinda dizzy there for a moment, im sorry' and 'huh i seem really forgetful lately' and he doesnt notice himself flickering in and out of existance and just DAMMIT IM GETTING REALLY EMOTIONAL ALREADY

And in the end of course kin and gin would have to face the fact that bronzlow wouldbt want them to bring him back if it meant other people had to get hurt. Thats why they tried to hide the truth from him, they knew he would sacrifice himself to fix the timeline and save everyone. And it could be super depressing with him joining you to fight his sisters even when he knows it'll kill him, and then the last moment of the fight is the time machine thing being broken and then a vision of the siblings as kids standing beneath that same tree, and the twins begging bronzlow to let them just stop time here and stay with him, if they cant save him then they want to die together... But there's no timeline where he'd ever say yes to that...

So umm yeah, the redemption fot these two would be finally accepting their grief instead of running from it, and you hug them and let them know that they have a second chance at a happy life. He never blamed them, they didnt have to destroy their own chance at happiness for his sake. He'd want them to go out and enjoy life, every time theyre smiling he'll be smiling with them...

I dunno i just think itd be a good way to make people care more about an underrated character. Cos from what ive heard about bronzlow he apparantly barely even talks, and really is just 'we added another one in the third version' with no more complexity than that. Kin and Gin already arent very popular so its understandable that their lil bro would be even more ignored, so this is an idea for how to make his low plot role a big plot role yet alsp at the same time get meta with thw low plot role itself being the big emotional tragedy...

Also i dunno if i'd actually find some way to bring him back eventually? Like as a reward for them at the end of their redemptive arc, maybe have them return in yw3 and help the heroes there and then after a loooong long journey they find another non-evil way to bring him back in the postgame. I dunno if itd dampen the emotional arc to bring him back tho? I feel like the importabt part os just that they learn not to hurt other people tp try and save their brother, as long as they actually finally give up and stop their evil plan it could still show the same amount of character growth if he does come back. Like it wouldbt be a moral-ruining 'yeah their evil plan actualky worked' kind of thing, just some different miracle happened, possibly directly caused BY them making the right choice? Like by confiding in others and not doing it all alone they finally manage to find the answer. But maybe have it happen some time after the endibg so the sadness still has enough time to breathe and it feels even happier when it eventually happens.

Also gives me an excuse to play out the credits sequence but with bronzlow vanishing out of that happy pic of them together. (Thanks to my friend who showed me that!)
