Really dissapointed to learn that you support the theft of art just so you don't have to do any actual work to create anything. AI artists aren't artists. Being an artist means you create something, not ask someone to create something. Your stance hurts so many disabled artists that are barely making ends meet, especially as corporations stop paying artists in favor of Gen AI. Claiming to be supporting a "disability accommodation" while actively campaigning something that's causing real and genuine harm to disabled artists is just.... I'm sorry you've become so selfish that you believe your convenience is more important than others' livelihoods.
Are you. New here. I've been constantly posting in support of AI art for the vast majority of the existence of this blog. The fuck are you being disappointed in.
Really, shut the fuck up. You are the ones harming disabled artists, both those who use AI, obviously, and those who don't when you use us as inspiration porn.
I am not a corporation. I want all corporations to cease to exist. While they have not, I of course support those who fight for better labor conditions. Me supporting individual AI users, especially severely disabled and poor, is not the fucking reason manual artists are getting fucked over by corporations.
Are you also against people getting free drawings from other people, btw? Why, they could have commissioned them for money!1! They are making corporations think artists will work for free for them!
As for what you said about disabled people and disability aids —
By your logic, all disability aids that could instead be paid caregiver work should be that. Why am I trying to get a powerchair when I could pay to some other disabled person struggling to make ends meet but not requiring a mobility aid to push a manual wheelchair that I can't self-propel in around amirite!
And I am not even going to touch the creative effort part because that has already been enough on just today. I still have things to say in that thread if there is further response eventually, but I'm not in the mood to repeat them to you.
