maybe its misleading. in the sense that most people have said its most likely a dream/imaginary sequence. which it very well could be.

but. okay. hear me out. whilst i was working out rn i was thinking about the ep 5 promo, and the timeline of it.

and this is what i think will happen.

phupha will tell theo he likes him, and theo will be stressed and call akk over like he did in ep 4 where they both box.

and its where akk will tell theo that he thinks the enchantes are just being selfish and want something from theo. theo doesn't react well, hence:

akk goes back home, showers:

and thats where him and his sister im will talk, and she'll say the lines that are voiced over the bit i'll mention later.

anyway, next morning, theo will go to uni by himself bc he's still mad at akk for saying what he said last night, and akk will be chasing theo down, bc theo and akk PROMISED they'll always drive to uni together in ep 3:

so. all day long. theo avoids akk. and i think to make it up to theo and apologise, like what akk's sister im said to him in the caps below, akk sets up a french movie night type thing. and he ties theo's hands up so theo can't run anywhere again bc he's been avoiding him all day, and theo gives in and they both have a date hang out, including akk feeding theo!!!:

and so this all will happen near the end of the ep! and they'll be watching the movie, that'll lead to:

now. what the HELL prompts akk to go WILD and say THAT to theo, who was just asking a rheotorical question, i've nooooo idea.

but ig its like. well, we don't /love/ each other, right? who says you have to Be In Love to kiss?? so they kiss. then move back. have a ... Moment. and then i think they'll go in and kiss again.

and thats where the episode will end.

SO. i don't think it will be a dream. i think its setting us up for PROPER ANGST. like. "we've KISSED and oh SHIT i felt something but we're FRIENDS and there's this whole ENCHANTE mess to deal with" so i think akk's just gonna play it off at first as "oh see people who ARENT in love can kiss too it doesnt have to mean anything" bc he's seeing how desperately theo wants to find out about enchante.

but the further down the eps we go, the more akk is gonna become more self-aware and realise he DOES like theo, and that he doesnt want him going after chasing enchante, and he doesnt wanna be Just Friends with theo, until he no longer can keep it to himself and at some point, confess, when theo asks him what right he (akk) has to stop him looking for enchante!

SOOOO. lets see how off the ball i am lmaooo. BUT. this is my take on it.
