I wanted to do something a bit different then usual and have Megatrons affection for Thundercracker be genuine, but he can't let Thundercracker go and for him to be alone in the mines, so they're both going to breathe in the toxic air together

Yeah we get it she ate 40 megacrackers or something. This has got to be the most boring Spinnerette arc ever so far. At least we can all laugh or cry at Heather’s stupidity. Nobody cares about Dr. Krawniverse, except for his origin story, but that was kinda important to a degree. This is just Kraw going “RAH RAH OBJECTIVISM GOOD COMMIENISM BAD LOOK I KNOW TECHNOLOGICAL WORDS AM I SMART YET”

Unfortunately, we will never see the script for the synopsis of fire on the moutain, but there are small differences for the revised script and the revised final script that changes the vibe

Like in the revised script, Thundercracker holds more contempt for both Megatron and Starscream, his reasoning for not attacking Skyfire is that it would make both of those guys lives harder, and he would be happy because of it!

I love how he monolouges this to Skyfire as he just stands there in shock

Until Starscream appears and once again, wrecks Skyfires shit, also we get to see that Starscream coldness from fire in the sky. Then he's quite confident that Megatron would listen to him about traitors????

"They exchange glances, and we can see that there's no love between these two" is such a good line and why I'm making this post

Starscream furious that his trinemate was planning to betray him with someone that has betrayed him in the past. Thundercracker seething because his chance to do something that he feels was.. right? His moment of rebellion? Whatever it is, it's out of his grasp, his ticket to doing so was was harmed by Starscream and he's now blackmailed into doing his bidding

Then theres Megatron, who knows the both of them are traitorous, and seems to almost enjoy it?? Damn no wonder why Skywarp is his least favorite...

This is the final script, where Thundercracker DOES want to impress Megatron but doesn't like Starscream because he would take all of the credit, so instead of an act of defiance to the decepticon ideology, it's a ploy to make him look better to Megatron

But maybe it would have been better for him to be more traitorous because now Megatron wants to replace them both with Skyfire (and once again Skywarp isn't even on his mind)

The no love line does have kind of a new meaning here, where it seems like they're both fighting over Megatron and Megatron is rage baiting them both
