Friends in the MHA RPC/anyone interested in MHA RP, I have created a server. (Again. Yes. Stop booing me.) Its a multi-universe set up, so its a rp server that contains more than one verse to write in which are all pretty detailed because I am insane. A quick summary of universes contained in the server under the cut !! You should def like this post / DM me if you want an invite and I'll invite you if your muse is open. 🩵

Aside from the obvious canon universe, the AUs in the server currently are : Zombie Apocalypse ! Set before the Paranormal Liberation War, this verse explores an AU where the power struggle between heroes and villains is obliterated by a new and far more terrifying threat to society and human civilization as we know it. Inspired by horror survival series such as Resident Evil, Sweet Home, and Left4dead, this is My Hero Academia meets the Zombie Apocalypse in full form.

Future / Rehab verse ! This is a heavily canon based but AU verse set three years into the future of the current manga. AFO has been defeated, Tomura Shigaraki, Himiko Toga, Dabi and Spinner have all been apprehended, along with a majority of the other villains who participated in the war. They are now participating in a specialized rehabilitation program at the Tamashiro Psychiatric Facility.

Ouroboros / Ultra Rumble ! This verse takes heavy inspiration from sources such as Squid Game, Battle Royale, and MHA's own Ultra Rumble game as the name suggests. Much like the inspo sources, all of our favorite MHA characters have been ported into a strange pocket dimension to interact and sometimes battle for the entertainment of unknown overseers.

Other AUs I might also add include my Hero AU, Fantasy AU and the Furry ass Mafia AU but yeah, SO FAR, beside canon verse, those are the three in the server ATM. >:3

Thanks so much for the long fic advice! And the example. I have embarked on my outline and it's already a page long so so far it's really working for me, we'll see how it goes when I come to writing the bits in the outline. 😁 I don't think I'm going to make the event I was hoping to write for haha. I don't think I can write 20k in less than a month. But maybe? While we're here do you have advice on writing faster? I write about 1000 words in two hours. I imagine the outline will help with this since I won't have to think about what comes next so much! Since I'm hoping to write longer works do you have words of wisdom in editing when things get longer and longer? 👉👈 It took me forever to edit my last published fic (8k) 😅

My advice for writing more is Sprints! You set a timer for however long, and then you just go. No editing, no waffling on word choice, just keep typing. With those I typically get an average of 800 words per 20 minutes. By then, I'm usually on a roll. I try to get 1000~ words a day in (and, in fact, I have a chart to keep track of my word totals over the year).

When it comes to editing, I tend to do little passes while I write. If it's been a few days, I'll reread the last chapter, or even back from the start, and do it with an editor's eye. Then, one big pass before I start posting, and another little pass over each chapter before I post.

However, I'm also famously bad at catching my own typos so, uh, maybe I'm not the best person for advice.

The best thing you can do is get someone else to read over it for you. I miss the practice of Betaing. It used to be so much more of a thing u_u.

I hate the fact that most of my urges to do song covers/do podfic are in the middle of the night, like now, even though it’s the best time because everything is mostly quiet. But people are sleeping around this time so I have to be pretty quiet myself and during the day there’s no space that’s quiet enough to do so/without people getting up in my business so it’s just *sigh* The last time I really recorded something was a year ago and I miss it, even though I’m sure I’m still pretty crap at audio editing.

And so the cringe begins... XD hopefully not, i won't even post minor things or I'll think the internet hates me lol (despite the fact that most of you are basically like me where u know that's where the good shit at) but ima try a couple different things and see how it goes.

I actually came up with the idea for this yesterday! I only executed it so late though because i was having personal sissy time U_U 👭 ...and playing just dan- we were having fun stuffing our faces with cookies and I finally watched hocus pocus, yes. I have never seen that movie until today don't hurt me-

I did find that one joke in there though and i was like "OHHHhhHh thAT'SSS WHAT THAT'S FROM" (it was the "go to hell! Oh i have been and it's quite lovley!" one XD) I really loved the characters though lmao

This kind of art was obviously expected because smol bren that sees that same shit att- AHEM

But i tried putting my own little spin on it.

Flug is biting into a sandwich, and bh is... Well, biting into another... Snack XD (good lord help me i can already feel my sins crawling on ove- oh it's just you shattered. ᵀᴴᴬᵀ'ˢ ᴿᴵᴳᴴᵀ ᴮᴵᵀᶜᴴ ᴵᵀ'ˢ ᴹᴱ)

I did have to look up some references because the first three tries... Oml i went "i don't wanna post this, no 😭 it looks so bad" i was having trouble aligning the head and doing the teeth as you can probably tell, but then made it acomadable at the least and fixed it up with the good ol color filter technique, except i figured out how to do purple and i went ooOOOh. So yep XD

I liked how the white pen under flug's eyes look kindy weary though it just fits. 👌🏼

Anyway wE'LL SEE HOW IT GOES IF I DECIDE TO DO ONE THING OR ANOTHER BETWEEN DAY 18 and 20 + 22 and 23!
