It seems a day doesn't go by without hearing a about a chemical or combination of chemicals that are linked to some scary health issue. Doesn't seem that there is a lot of junk in and on our clothes? in our homes? in our food? in our cremes and shampoos? Even our soaps? Tonight I spent some time with the body soap experts @SoapCherie and went back to basics about oils and butters and how you make soap from scratch. Letting your soap cure the right way over several weeks (4 is the minimum) is a skill. As a lifelong product junky, making what I will wash with felt very satisfying.
