here's a small list of alternative sites to use, so I can hear less of you people fucking complaining about "good internet sites don't exist anymore":

spacehey.com is a myspace inspired site being coded and run by 1 young adult.

dreamwidth.org is an independent, open source blogging website.

soemo.co.uk is an online community for emos.

vampyfreaks.com is another site for alternative people, but unfortunately (like soemo) it's been losing steam over the years.

midnight.pub is another fully customizable, free, blogging site.

if you're interested in making a website, there's neocities, indieweb, and angelfire.

and this is only a tiny amount of websites like this. these are just the ones off the top of my head. anyways my point is, stop complaining and go out and join these fucking websites AND USE THEM.

How is emo expressed?: Bands like Black Veil Brides, My chemical romance, and jimmy eat world, are all bands that fall under the category of emo. Music if the language which is common upon other cultures, socialization is another way the emo culture is expressed. “ I had internet friends most of the time…” according to Mars, it is common for emos to make friends over the internet over online chat rooms talking about favorite bands and whatever else they saw fit.

Scene kids introducing themselves..

i can’t find the post now, but someone had made a joke about how emo/scene kids would introduce themselves online really weirdly back in like, 2008-2012, and i wanted to add my few cents because i thought it was funny - I mean, the fucking nostalgia, dude!!! but yes, actually, that post was hilariously accurate. being an old web/2000s scene/emo blog, i find a LOT of my pics on old myspace blogs and soemo.co.uk profiles. any profiles i find from like 2008-2015 are pretty much along the lines of “umm idk what to put here XD but I’m suuuuper random and i <3 pandas and foxes. DONT MESS WITH ME!!” but yes, a lot of people would introduce themselves in a very forcibly awkward way. in my early days of the internet, I did it too. It’s really fucking funny. here are some examples:

thx 4 tha concern, i guess. most (if not all) of the gifs/pics i post are found on google, pinterest, myspace, and soemo.co.uk, and stuff gets reposted and stolen on these sites all the time, making it almost impossible 4 me 2 credit any1. however things like blinkies/stamps i can try to find credit 4. :)
