That not only explains his name (doesn't help that his mom was also a HUGE theater kid and is still creatively-inclined, but that is another story for another day), but also how he knows of the Tale of the Bamboo Cutter!

Additional hc; he and Ash would make snarky comments and jokes in Japanese without the other classmates knowing. Soph's Japanese may be rusty, but the insults and gossip remain clear as day.
