This is a work of fiction and is not meant to represent real events or the actual personalities of any K-pop idols mentioned. All characters and situations are purely imaginary. This story is created for entertainment purposes only, and no harm or disrespect is intended toward the idols or their fans. Enjoy!
Tumblr media
“i promise daddy will tuck you in when he gets here, sweetie,” you whisper, tucking a curl back into adele’s little bonnet. she’s staring up at you with heavy lids, sleep trying to take her.
“promise?” she slurs, her cute little lisp makes your heart clench. she’s been waiting for her dad all day, but you finally managed to put her to bed. it's late and his flight was supposed to get in hours ago, but several delays got in the way of reuniting for their nightly routine.
“promise,” you whisper, locking your pinky with her smaller one. you press a kiss to her forehead, placing the storybook back on her shelf and heading towards the door.
when you turn around to say a final goodnight, she’s already fast asleep. she’s nestled in the bed, surrounded by the dozens of stuffies that you and yunho buy her whenever she asks.
“goodnight addie. i love you,” you whisper into the dark, softly shutting her door.
walking down the hallway, the house is so quiet. you’d be lying if you said that you weren’t disappointed when you got the call from your husband. still, you’d put on a brave face for addie. it’s out of his control, but that doesn’t change the fact that you really miss him.
he’s been traveling a lot again, promoting the new ateez album. you’re immensely proud of him, but your heart aches whenever you get into your large bed alone.
making your way to the living room, you cuddle up on the couch, putting your comfort movie on. you absentmindedly fiddle with your wedding ring, watching the familiar faces flit across the screen. with drooping eyelids, you mumble along with the dialogue. you know yunho would tease you if he was here. the thought makes you smile to yourself, before finally succumbing to your exhaustion.
you feel warm hands on your arms, gently shaking you awake. you jolt up in a panic, momma bear mode activated, immediately moving to locate addie.
“sorry honey. i didn’t mean to scare you,” yunho murmurs, a sheepish smile on his face. his cheeks are slightly red, suddenly feeling bashful. you can’t stop the smile growing on your own, immediately leaning further into his touch.
"it's okay, yuyu," you murmur, sitting up so you can regain your bearings. you finally get a good look at him, standing up to meet him with a proper hug.
the hug lasts a while, neither of you in a rush to pull away. yunho burrows his head in your neck, inhaling the scent of home. you run your fingers through his hair, gently cradling him to you. his body is warm and firm against your own, immediately making you more relaxed.
"missed you so much," he mumbles, squeezing you a little tighter. he pulls back slightly, cupping your cheeks to give you a slow kiss. his lips are gentle and soft, taking his time with you. your heart skips a beat, thumping a little faster. you've been married for years, but yunho never fails to make you feel like a girl with a high school crush.
he only pulls away to pepper more kisses all over your face, prompting you to let out a girlish giggle. he wraps his arms around you again, blowing raspberries into your neck.
"i missed you too, baby," you let out between laughs, draping your arms around his neck. he scoops you up, your legs wrapping around his waist out of reflex.
"let's get you to bed, sugar," he mumbles, kissing the top of your head. your curls smell divine, and the scent makes him feel at ease. while he walks back to your bedroom, you cling to him like a koala, head lulling with his movements.
he shuts off all the lights in his path, double checking the main locks in the house. when he arrives at your bedroom, he gently places you down on the mattress, tucking the sheets under your chin.
"i'll be right back baby," he murmurs, easing out of the bedroom and heading toward addie's room. he quietly opens the door, heart aching when he sees her sleeping form. she's knocked out, cradling her baby blanket to her chest.
yunho tip toes over to her, adjusting the stuffies, so she can get more comfortable. he leans down, pressing a kiss to her squishy cheek, tucking the sheets in a little tighter.
"goodnight addie. love you so much," he whispers, savoring this moment. with a final kiss to her forehead, he walks towards the door, turning around for one last look.
he can't believe how fast she's growing. it feels like just yesterday he was burping her and changing diapers. now, she's old enough to bargain with you on staying up later. he smiles to himself at the thought. exhaustion intensifies the emotion swelling in his chest. with a sigh, he shuts the door, smiling to himself as he walks down the hall.
everything feels right in this moment. he's like a magnet, drawn towards your bedroom, eager to hold you in his arms. he's finally home with his girls and knows he'll get the best night of sleep that he's had in a while.

We delve into Victoria and Michael's marriage from the very beginning! 🤭❤️‍🔥 This is filled with romance, fluff and domestic wholesomeness. How Victoria and Michael fell in love to how their lives changed as husband and wife and more is all included. I wanted this to be very romantic and sensual before we dive back into the action of current day Moth to Flame! 😳
Tumblr media
1956. Your name is Victoria Ferrari Corleone, and you’re the wife of the most powerful mobster in North America–Michael Corleone. A lifestyle of crime and secrecy is all you've known and ever wanted to know, complimenting the cruelty of Michael Corleone's influence in the United States. With your enemies fallen before you and all loose ends tied up, you continue your life and marriage with the Corleone family while refusing to look back on your past. Yet it's the skeletons in your closet that a shine a light on revealing you're a true mafiosa. Ensnared in the shadows just as much as Michael is, you find yourself betrayed by the unexpected with all of your secrets ready to spill–especially ones you've hidden from Michael. With more than one pair of eyes watching your every move, you find yourself trapped amidst potential scandals and a familiar, lovesick secret admirer adamant on removing Michael out of the picture to have you all to himself. Like a moth to a flame, you've reached the point of no return and the light that breaks down the darkness threatens to take you next.
Bouquets of pink and white roses, white silk, lilac adornments, angel food cake, the lace finishing over your wedding gown, and the taste of Michael’s lips over yours; you married Michael Corleone in the summer of 1949.
Planning for your wedding was one of the few and only times in your life when you felt you had a million things going through your mind at once.
After weeks of careful planning, the hardest part—the wedding itself—came in bliss and resonated perfectly with everything you had in mind for your perfect wedding day.
The colors you chose for your wedding ranged from an equal hint of décor in baby pink, lilac, and beige, whereas peonies, lilacs, and dahlias were your flowers of choice.
Silk tablecloth, handcrafted Italian furniture imported from Sicily, seven-tier angel food cake, seven varieties of cannoli from pistachio to limoncello, over a hundred bottles of wine—Grilo, Inzolia and Grecanico just to name a few—aged at least ten years, French champagne, little pastries of sorbets and mini cheesecakes served throughout and freshly squeezed juice from the fruit from the Corleone garden itself were just some of the highlights of your wedding day.
Even your wedding gown itself had been custom designed and tailored with the finest Italian silks and fabrics, following a lengthy session of perfecting your hair, makeup, and manicure with your mother, Mama Corleone, Connie, and Sandra down to rehearing how you would walk down the aisle to which sets of jewelry with diamonds and pearls suited you best.
Everything was planned and executed to perfection—to say the least. Scarcely were there moments throughout the planning period where the wedding wasn’t mentioned in one way or another; it was the only topic on your mind for days to come.
Consummation of your marriage was expected next from all through tradition and customs, but it wasn’t a concept you and Michael personally believed in.
Although you were a virgin before you met Michael, he most certainly was not. After his brief marriage with Apollonia, the concept of no intimacy until marriage let alone time spent together or some form of physical affection before marriage was seen and strictly enforced as heavily taboo in Sicily only reminded him of how backward he believed the concept to be, as did you.
Of course, you and Michael were both anticipating and thinking about the intimacy you’d share with one another after your wedding celebration, but not immediately after. That would be eagerly waiting for the both of you at the end of the night.
With the wedding cake having been cut, final drinks served and last dances shared, both of your families collected together all of the bridal gifts, thanked and said goodbyes to every guest they could get to while the wedding staff began to clean up.
Michael and you stood for more photographs by and with guests, thanking them for attending as well before you both made off with security to the vehicle that would take you to your first estate.
You’d both arrive at your new estate by the time security did a full sweep and search of the Corleone manor and all festivities had officially come to an end.
Before you and Michael would settle down for the remainder of the day after the wedding, you both went to meet with your families and new in-laws.
Tomorrow morning there’d be the wedding reception to look forward to after all, but there was more than enough for both you and Michael to think about and do before then.
~
Upon stepping out of your chauffeur’s vehicle at your new estate’s grounds, the first thing your eyes found were those of your bodyguards surrounding your new estate.
Noting the heavy yet inconspicuous security around, it was only a split second longer before you blinked and a warm smile crossed over your lips in reaction to Michael standing by your side; his hand laced with yours as you both began to make your way inside the estate.
Just a few feet from the front door you could already hear the cheerful voices and banter of your parents and in-laws in the foyer; you couldn’t help but feel your exhilarated mood amplify with excitement once more.
“Victoria! Michael! Sweetheart!” Your mother beamed, extending her arms out as she skipped over to the both of you.
Hugged, congratulated a dozen more times, and kissed by your parents and new-in-laws, happy tears are shed once again for you and Michael as a newlywed couple.
“Promettimi che mi chiamerai se ti serve qualcosa!” (Promise me you'll call if you need anything!) Carmela gently squeezed your shoulder after pulling away from a hug, smiling at you.
“Home sweet home,” your mother cooed, bewildered by the grandiose luxury your new estate has to offer just by standing in the foyer alone. “How wonderful.”
“We’re looking forward to that wedding reception,” your father grinned, redirecting his gaze to Michael. “It’ll be an honor to dine in the newlyweds’ home.”
“It’s an honor to host,” Michael agreed, giving a small, quick smile. “I look forward to it, Don Ferrari.”
“Mm,” Vito nodded, approaching both you and Michael. “And the bridal gifts… I had them arranged to be placed in your guest room. Humble gifts as they may be from our family friends, but they’re close to overflowing.”
“A problem I’d actually like to deal with,” you giggled back. “Thank you, father.”
Naturally, the gifts you received from attending friends, family, and guests aren’t exclusive to gifts newlyweds would benefit from, but a wide variety of items ranging from cash bills to jewelry almost as if the givers were trying to appease you and Michael directly.
Without even having to look inside all of the bridal purses and open each individual gift, you already assumed to yourself there are thousands of dollars worth of gifts there alone waiting for you and Michael that may very well take days to completely open.
Your families deliberately didn’t stay for long to give you and Michael as much privacy as possible today, and you and Michael were more than happy to see them out with waves and smiles before settling down for the rest of the day.
“It’s not over for them,” Michael commented by the gates of the estate, loosening his tie.
“No, it isn’t,” you let out a light laugh, smoothening down your wedding gown. “Not until after the wedding reception, at least.”
Michael chuckled—a rare first time he’s in a somewhat lighthearted mood for the entirety of the day. “Do you need anything, darling?”
“No,” you blushed, gesturing down to your dress. “Only to get this lovely gown off of me in one piece and my makeup at last.”
Just a split second later, you both heard a sharp whistle come towards the gates of the estate which prompted you and Michael’s attention immediately.
“Hey, Mikey!” Sonny hollered from the gates, leaning against his car and waving at both of you. “No invitations for Tom, Fredo, and I to see the new place, eh? Come on down!”
“I’ll be right with you,” Michael glanced back at you.
You nodded understandingly, relieved you’ll at least get the time to quickly undress and take off your makeup before finally getting to spend some time alone with Michael, and you’re more than happy to have Michael bond with his brothers before retiring for the rest of the day with you too.
The endless amounts of gifts and stuffed bridal purses crossed your mind once more as you entered the estate, imagining you and Michael would more than likely have to get Tom to secure any precious assets or cash bills while the other items remain secure.
You carefully slipped out of your wedding gown and let the lacy, tulle fabric pool at your feet as you grabbed a white, silk nightgown to step into; careful not to let any of your makeup smear against the fabric.
You’re not one to wear a full face of makeup on any regular day, but outings, special events, and evenings—especially your wedding—remain exceptions each time you enjoyed getting dolled up, but your daily beauty routine only consisted of your normal skincare steps, light eye makeup, a bit of eyeliner, mascara, and lipstick.
Upon Michael’s return inside the estate and to the bedroom to undress and unwind, it was his first time gazing upon your face without any makeup as you cautiously stored your nightgown away in an empty closet.
You hadn’t even noticed Michael’s eyes on you at first but picked up on his presence immediately; right then and there, Michael had found himself admiring your beauty and looks, stunned by your natural appearance.
“More congratulations?” You smiled shyly, turning around to face your new husband.
“Something like that,” Michael answered, tossing his tie onto the edge of the bed. “Nothing we both haven’t heard enough of.”
You held back your laughter, “then I hope you don’t mind I retired my glamor for the night already.”
“Not at all,” a ghost of a smile crossed Michael’s lips as he slowly began to approach you. “I’m sure the bridal gifts have nothing but your name on them, after all. I don’t think I need to go and see for myself.”
“Oh, please,” you felt a blush stinging your cheeks as you gazed up at Michael.
“You look beautiful,” Michael murmured, tilting your chin up to face him. “You know that?”
Your skin gave a healthy glow under the evening light as Michael admired every inch of you from the shape of your cheekbones to the color of your eyes, the curve of your lips, and your body language towards him filled with desire.
You expected then and there for Michael to lean in and kiss you, and he did, but gently upon your forehead as he let his warm lips linger over your skin.
You closed your eyes for a brief moment and embraced your husband, taking in the scent of his heavenly cologne as your heart began to race in your chest against his.
“You should expect all of this, you know,” Michael spoke to you in an ushered voice. “You’re a Corleone woman now, after all. Those gifts want nothing more than to appease and impress you, I’ll make sure of it myself.”
Michael’s intention is to spoil you to no avail and not only with material gifts but your every request; the luxurious lifestyle you can expect to live with him as Michael’s wife and the future mother of his children holds you on a separate pedestal next to being Don Ferarri’s wife, and Michael will continue to keep it that way.
The very gifts with your name engraved upon them awaiting you consisted of everything from cosmetics, luxurious perfumes, oils, and creams, full sets of dazzling jewelry set with diamonds and precious stones, congratulatory letters, towel sets followed by pacifiers, bibs, baby bottles, and cloth diapers that made you blush as you unwrapped them—knowing all would be expecting the news of your first pregnancy next.
An amused look crossed Michael’s eye as he wrapped his arms around you seeing you open the final present for today a set of two pacifiers, he saw a look of excitement over your own expression but also blush spreading over your cheeks as the two of you made eye contact once again, knowing the rest of the night began to the both of you.
~
The first home you and Michael owned together and settled in was a grand estate in Long Island but outside of the Corleone mall unlike Connie and Carlo’s home and that of Sonny and Sandra’s that were inside the gated family community.
Still, your new home was not far from Michael’s family or yours, and you could make the commute in twenty minutes.
The plot of land in which your new estate would be built was purchased immediately on the day of your engagement ceremony with construction where your father and Vito had given the green light for construction to begin the day of.
Normally for the size of your estate, it would have taken a good construction crew six months with daily work, but the home was completely finished in just one. Bringing in extra of the best workers and paying a premium always worked well in the end.
Your grand estate stood at just slightly over five thousand square feet with state-of-the-art architecture, taking inspiration from Modern American design to Italian fixtures and marble imported from Rome.
Your estate was two stories, finished with an attic consisting of a master bedroom with a walk-in closet designed to be almost the size of a small bedroom for you and Michael, a study that was half a private library, two guest rooms downstairs, a nursery upstairs, a wine room in the basement, full front and back yard, three other extra bedrooms, an office for Michael and four bathrooms.
A mid-sized swimming pool was built in the backyard where your home’s carefully curated and trimmed garden surrounded the sides and fences protected your family’s privacy so one could neither look into the estate grounds nor out of it.
Twenty-four-hour surveillance was always to be expected with varying bodyguards and a careful selection of specific windows—such as the ones in Michael’s office—were selected and built to be soundproof.
Your bathtub had 24k gold claw-finished, quartz countertops as well as in the kitchen, marble floors, a foyer in the front of the estate fit with a French handcrafted chandelier, a private exit to the gardens and plenty of storage with a full laundry room at the end of the hallway downstairs.
Crown fixtures adorned the kitchen and a wide spiral staircase decorated with a blood-red carpet led upstairs to where one of two hidden emergency exits only you and Michael knew how to activate could be found.
The price of your home came to a grand total of $250,000 and was exactly where you and Michael wanted to be; exactly where the two of you planned to start your family and raise your children.
Michael and you had both grown up in Long Island; meaning nothing short of symbolic with the feel of home settling into your first house in New York together.
You and Michael only had a brief discussion about where your first home could be since the two of you came to an agreement so quickly to choose Long Island to stay in.
At the time, thoughts of buying another home elsewhere or even moving in the future were not on your mind although Michael had begun to think of Nevada and a villa in Sicily almost immediately on; the latter being a familiar and mutually agreed upon idea to you.
Of course, both you and Michael’s family knew just as well as the both of you why you didn’t have a honeymoon after your wedding, and there were no questions asked or teasing to be made.
Going on a honeymoon with Michael after your wedding was in your mind just as much as your wedding was, but the same could not be said for Michael who was much too preoccupied with the danger and threat of another family war, especially with hostility coming from the Ricci family.
Going outside of New York—let alone going to Sicily—would paint a clear, red target over both your and Michael’s backs and especially create vulnerability within the Corleone family considering Vito was semi-retired at the time.
It didn’t matter if you and Michael decided to visit Rome, Venice, or anywhere else in Italy just for the sake of visiting home but staying away from Sicily; the mafia families including the Ricci’s still had power stretching there legitimately.
Naturally, both you and Michael yearned to take a true honeymoon trip to Sicily and Sicily only. Even with the rest of the world as a choice to visit, you would have rather continued to postpone your honeymoon until you could safely visit Sicily again without having to worry about anything but how to spend quality time with your husband.
You’d very well have your honeymoon with Michael a little after your first anniversary together, somewhat defeating the purpose of a true honeymoon but with the threat of your lives and your family on the line, it was all very worth it with a legitimate reason to delay.
In Michael’s second marriage now come hell or high water he would never risk a slight chance of you being anywhere where there’s a notion of danger, even if you begged him to.
“Well,” you bit your lip, shrugging your shoulders. “I’m a little disappointed, but I understand.”
“I know, darling,” Michael raised his water glass to his lips, taking a sip. “I feel no different than you do.”
You brushed your fingers against the fabric of the window’s curtains and glanced over to Michael again. “They’ll know, won’t they?”
Michael’s eyes met with yours almost instantly; his expression appeared grim knowing you referred to the Ricci family, but with the Barzinis and Tattaglias to worry about as well.
“As they do,” Michael replied and set his glass down. “Does it bother you?”
“Not exactly,” you shook your head and faced the window—blushing as you felt Michael’s presence approach you from behind. “But it’s been on my mind again and again these past few weeks. I can’t shake it off.”
“And on mine,” Michael lovingly embraced you from behind and lightly pressed his chest against your back. “As much as I would like to degrade them to such, they’re not animal enough to disgrace a wedding, even without an invite.”
“They should know better,” you murmured under your breath.
“And they more than likely do,” Michael nodded and moved his hands down to your hips to tenderly caress them. “None of those men deserve further justifications, but above all, they’re curious about you, and just who you are.”
You placed your hands over Michael’s and gave them a soft squeeze as you remained quiet.
“If it’s about safety—” Michael began.
“I feel safe with you,” you told him as you turned around.
Michael’s eyes locked onto yours as he gave you a small nod; you swore to yourself for a moment that you could see a glimmer of a brief smile over his plush lips.
“I do,” you continued, “always. And as you can guess…” You blushed sheepishly, “I was thinking about our honeymoon too, and we can’t even go.”
“We will soon enough,” Michael rubbed up and down your arms gingerly. “When we are able to and when we can. You know it’s not something I want to put aside to forget or neglect.”
“I know, baby,” you smiled back shyly. “I believe you.”
“I’ll make it up to you,” Michael lowered his tone of voice and pressed a warm kiss over your forehead. “I promise I will. None of what our family is going through now will last. I personally guarantee it,” as Michael moved back from the kiss, he tilted your chin up to gaze directly into his eyes. “You’re my bride. You deserve that and all the more, do you understand?”
Blushing furiously and feeling a wave of butterflies rush to the pit of your stomach, you nodded at Michael before leaning up to give his lips a sweet kiss.
“I’ll wait until you say we can go,” you whispered against his lips as you wrapped an arm around Michael’s shoulders.
“Until then,” Michael murmured and closed off the distance between both of your bodies, ensnaring you in a deep kiss once more.
~
Michael’s changed lifestyle to a mafioso and your continued one as a mafiosa would never change. You both married one another knowing what your lives are and would continue to be, but also remaining unaltered.
You’re a lawyer, after all, and a skilled prosecutor with a name made for herself—reputation and all—in New York. Your career is more than something you see to corrupt and use for your “family business”, but is also a passion; something you want to continue doing until you feel ready to retire.
Michael was always impressed as to how you were able to find a passionate career that also benefited both sides of the family business.
Through being a lawyer, you also bonded well with Tom and had another fellow lawyer as a brother-in-law to bond with.
Regardless of whether you and Michael choose to have one child a fear down the line or four back to back, Michael has no intention of interfering in your career or keeping you from it; the same can be said for any of your other passions and hobbies.
You already know your maternity leave from work and raising an infant will take priority in your life which will result in a break from work, but you’ve accepted it and will make it happen.
Perhaps if you weren’t a mafiosa yourself from a powerful crime family, you would have fit the bill as a mafioso’s housewife better but Michael recognizes your true talents and abilities just as well as you know yourself.
Now married, you attend trials and continue with your cases at most three times a week. After all, you’ve always been careful in choosing which cases to get involved in while maintaining a flexible schedule for yourself.
You built a reputation with your prowess this far without Michael and his family’s influence, which begs the question of what Michael’s lifestyle has become after marrying you.
Michael is always working, even when he’s not. More than ever, Michael spends time with his father and brothers. Even when Michael is alone in his own office, he’s talking over the phone to his men or family and constantly keeping himself preoccupied until he’s with you.
Michael’s unwavering dedication to the family business, his loyalty, and his work ethic don’t bother you. As a matter of fact, it’s everything you expected from Michael and saw coming before you married him.
What you love about Michael’s work with the family business is that he can separate it and he will separate it very well from his personal life.
Michael does not mention anything related to his work when he’s with you regardless of how casual the circumstances or if your own curiosity arises since your family is also almost always involved.
You know then and only in those scenarios would you ask Michael a question if you had one and your family could not answer; you know your boundaries and where the line remains when asking Michael about his work.
To Michael, any mention of what he does and what he is outside of work is nothing but severely unpleasant and he would rather avoid it altogether; something you respect and agree with.
At dinner one evening, you saw Michael’s tension settled within him as he ate—sitting across from you in silence.
Michael sighed quietly and took a sip of his red wine before his eyes met yours; seeing curiosity spark in your expression.
“Ready to settle down, baby?” You asked with a soft smile.
“Something like that,” Michael nodded, continuing to eat his risotto.
“Everything alright with your father?” You asked and rose up from your seat to begin cleaning up.
“He’s fine,” Michael’s answers were dry and to the point on purpose. “We’re working on it.”
“Alright,” you gathered a pile of empty plates, brushing off crumbs upon the tablecloth next to Michael.
Only a split second later did you look back up at Michael and catch his eye—almost feeling embarrassed for asking but you neither see annoyance nor discomfort in Michael’s expression.
You understood Michael didn’t want to talk about this with you and you didn’t push it. You also knew last night he didn’t come home from his father’s estate until 2 AM, and you had no intention of bothering him about it now.
You’ve always had more than enough to do for yourself and for the home regardless of how long Michael worked in or out of the manor.
You’d have your own day to worry about; cleaning up after breakfast, prepping for lunch, tidying up the house, laundry if required, getting any other daily errands done, focusing on a bit of your own work projects, then relaxing with a good book or in front of the television with a glass of wine.
You could step out into the garden for some fresh air, pull weeds, water the lawn, go for a walk or a dip in the pool; you balance your work and life well and you’ve never felt neglected or lost without a sense of purpose.
The compatibility between you and Michael is like none other and the two of you have always recognized this; there is no lack of transparency or intimacy, and there is no elephant in the room blocking the two of you from bonding with one another.
You and Michael could and always will make it work.
~
When it came down to planning to start a family with each other, having children was brought up immediately between Michael and you; a crucial concept and the second step into a married life with one another.
Of course, the brief conversation that only consisted of asking one another if you wanted children when you and Michael had first met did not count as a real and insightful conversation, it did strike you that Michael was a mature and serious man, ready for fatherhood and expecting to start a family in the very near future.
Michael would not have minded waiting a year or two before having children, but he would personally not wish to delay it any further past that.
To Michael, it was as if he had an urgency of some kind to start a family but there was no reasoning behind it or pressure coming from anyone. Still, you came to appreciate how much Michael anticipated entering parenthood with you, regardless of his reasons.
Perhaps you did sense Michael’s urgency when he first met you and asked if you wanted to have children in the future, but you simply had brushed it off for all that it was—a simple question.
You were twenty-five years old when you met Michael, and you were the second youngest sibling in your family and the only daughter.
With your little brother Dante being fifteen years younger than you, you practically raised him alongside your brothers and because you came from an equally large extended family, you loved children for as long as you could remember.
Just as you and your brothers had grown up, you knew the importance of proper parenting and how love would mold a child’s life forever.
Michael believed children were the products of their parents’ discipline, love, and behavior, saying, “If adults can bring out the worst in each other, they can do the same for children”.
Michael himself was twenty-nine when he met you and neither of you had objections of any kind to starting a family immediately after getting married.
Coming from the families and reputations you both grew up in and had, things such as time and money would simply not be an issue for you and Michael.
It was more of a matter of readiness and active parenting heavily required from both of you equally, not just yours as the mother.
You also knew Michael would be a stricter parent than you, but this did not imply anything harsh or along the lines of cruelty whatsoever.
Michael is not the type of man to ever raise a hand against a child or even raise his voice; calm, and collected, and with thorough explanation comes discipline and understanding. Michael knows how a child’s mind copes and works.
You are most definitely not the kind of parent to yell, threaten, let alone glare at children to have them respect or tolerate your fear let alone beat a child.
Neither Michael nor you ever faced such things growing up, but you both saw your fair share growing up with other children at school and in the neighborhood who did not have the same childhood as you two did.
Any type of abuse or psychological manipulation was a severe hard line; it was something you and Michael would never subject any child to, ever.
From being the only big sister to your little brother Dante, you knew there were a million ways around teaching and disciplining children without being physically, psychologically, or verbally abusive—even to children who have behavior issues.
You and Michael had been stressing to yourselves subconsciously the need to be nothing but good, loving parents teaching your future children manners and discipline early on without fear of repercussions or pain, but simply just to learn and understand.
~
Just a week ago you walked down the aisle and faced your lover—for the last time only as a lover before becoming Michael’s wife, wedded as Mrs. Corleone.
Now as you gazed at yourself in the mirror, the role of Michael Corleone’s wife had already truly embedded in you; seeing your husband clasping a new diamond necklace around your neck gently.
You blushed as you caught Michael’s eye in the mirror, placing a hand over your necklace carefully.
Michael admired the glistening diamonds over your neck; his eyes adoring the very shape of your collarbones before he leaned toward your shoulder and planted a soft kiss over it.
With a bit of arousal having flared up in you, you shivered from Michael’s warm touch as he let his hands linger around the back of your neck before he placed them on your hips.
“Mm,” your eyes fluttered shut as you took in the brief moment, feeling Michael’s breath over the side of your neck.
Michael’s hands slowly made their way over to your stomach where he rubbed tenderly, watching as your body language submitted to how good he was already making you feel.
“Are you late?” Michael murmured over your shoulder.
Butterflies churned in your stomach and blush stung your cheeks at the very question. “I think it’s still too soon to tell, baby.”
“Mm,” Michael nodded and began to massage your sides.
“Why do you ask?” You slowly opened your eyes and spoke to him in a soft, ushered tone. “Do you suspect I am?”
“Perhaps,” Michael answered, “I want to be the first to know.”
You cracked a shy smile, “and you will be without a doubt.”
“I’m looking forward to it,” Michael took your hands in his, turning you around to face him directly before he pulled you into his embrace. “Although you never did tell me how many you wanted.”
“I can tell you now,” you rested your head over Michael’s chest and nodded. “Four little ones… That would be something.”
“Mhmm,” Michael kissed the top of your head. “A topic better suited for the future after we have our first.”
“Boy or girl?” You grinned and looked up at your husband.
“Doesn’t matter,” Michael told you. “But ultimately a son somewhere down the line to succeed our family.”
‘Of course.’ You knew it must have been the same with Michael’s father as it was with yours; one son at the very least to carry the family’s legacy under his name. ‘Understandable.’
“If you’re not…” Michael’s hands touched your hips again; his eyes beckoning to you. “Then we can try again.”
“And again?” You teased back, giggling. “Tonight.”
“Tonight,” Michael murmured and pulled your hips into his.
“As many times as we need to, hmm?” Your breath hitched as you bit down on your lip.
“As many times as you want to,” Michael corrected before he sealed a kiss over your lips.
~
The intimacy and love continuing to blossom between you and Michael unfolded in feverish desire and yearning. Like the beginning of an eternal and dangerous addiction, neither of you could get enough of the other.
Michael knew your love language was physical affection and words of affirmation just as you knew he was spending quality time with you and touching.
Michael couldn’t care less for material gifts and preferred experiences above all, but you would be lying if you said you didn’t care, enjoy, or appreciate either.
“Ah…” A breathy moan escaped your lips as your hand clutched over Michael’s back; feeling his firm, flexing muscle as Michael remained leaning down and hovering over your naked body.
Between the sounds of Michael’s lips leaving a trail of hot kisses over your neck, you heard his breathing hitching as his throbbing erection pressed against your stomach.
Barely a week into your marriage and filled to the brim with insatiable love and desire, Michael was unable to get enough of his new bride and her beauty.
“Ohhh…”
Inhaling deeply, Michael took in your scent as he nuzzled your neck; now glowing pink with the love marks he left behind as you had let your free hand roam through Michael’s tousled hair.
“Look at me,” Michael whispered against your lips as he grazed his thumb over your mouth, parting your bottom lip. “Look at me when I make love to you.”
‘Oh God, yes…’
The first three months of marriage may as well have been a fever dream for both of you.
Of course, none would be surprised at the sudden stamina the new bride and groom have for one another although some teasing and a dirty joke here and there would be in order, but if it wasn’t a night out or quality time spent with the family, Michael and you were doing nothing else but getting lost in one another again and again.
You’d lay in bed naked with the blankets barely covering yourself as you’d watch Michael strip down right in front of you before approaching you on the bed, and Michael enjoyed every second of undressing you himself with his own hands; the way the curves of your hips and fullness of your thighs felt against his hand as your skin was hot to the touch, brimming with passion and your body begging for pleasure was nothing short of ecstasy to Michael.
With your bodies intertwined with one another, you could practically feel Michael’s heart racing against yours; nothing but toe-curling, eye-rolling, intense orgasms, and memorizing every part of each other’s bodies filled your evenings for days to come.
You woke an urge tailored to your pleasure inside of Michael he could not ignore. Even after a night of ecstasy, if you approached him half-naked in the living room and begged Michael to fuck you again, he wouldn’t say no.
You straddled Michael’s lap and let your lace panties slip off your ankles as you felt the smooth, Italian silk fabric of Michael’s suit brush against your bare skin.
On his lap, you let out a whimpering moan as you pressed your hips against his and ran your hands up Michael’s half-unbuttoned dress shirt; his chest hair brushing past your fingers as you clutched onto his shoulders.
Michael leaned his back against his seat comfortably; his hands ran from your calves to your upper thighs before he cupped your ass and gave it a greedy squeeze.
Michael’s eyes expectantly looked at you. “You play the innocent, sweet role well…”
“Mm—” You whimpered as you pressed your lips against Michael’s neck from him giving your ass another harsh squeeze.
“But I see right through it,” Michael whispered to you—his tone low and husky.
“I…” You breathed shakily against Michael’s skin before planting a deep kiss over it; your free hand roamed through his black, silky hair.
You heard a barely audible, soft moan escape Michael’s lips which only intensified the feverish arousal coursing through your veins as you continued to hungrily kiss up and around Michael’s neck.
Michael wrapped one arm around your waist and kept his hand over your ass; his eyes half remained half-opened as he let you get lost within him, taking and getting everything you want.
Your kisses grew wet, hot, and sloppy around Michael’s jawline as you moaned through them yourself; severely aroused to the point where you thought your wetness pooling over the fabric of your panties was soaking through Michael’s trousers.
“Mine…” You cupped Michael’s cheek and turned his face to look him in the eye directly. “All mine…”
“Yours,” Michael said back before his lips sealed over yours in a crushing, needy kiss.
Your pussy throbbed from arousal over Michael’s knee; it practically had a heartbeat of its own from how horny you were feeling towards your husband—so much so that it was almost criminal.
“Look at you,” As Michael pulled away from the kiss, he gripped your throat with his free hand and let his thumb trace the outline of your bottom lip. “Can’t get your hands off of me.”
“You’re mine,” you panted back and took Michael by pleasant surprise as you licked his thumb. “
“That’s right, baby,” Michael murmured before pulling you back to him by your throat to give you another wet, rough kiss over the mouth.
As you fully straddled Michael’s lap and began to slowly grind your hips, gyrating them against Michael’s pulsating erection, Michael let his hands slip up through your skirt and play with the band of your panties.
Lost in insistent, passionate kisses, Michael pulled at your panties only to let it snap back against your skin as you were distracted between his lips.
Michael let his fingers go further, parting your dewy pussy lips to spread your wetness with one hand while squeezing your breast and massaging your nipple with his fingers on the other.
Aside from such fiery, mutual infatuation and lust, there was more; there was and always will be more.
The love between you and Michael blossomed so naturally that it could never feel forced like it was some sort of obligation that had to be fulfilled.
In public, despite the two of you being not so fond of blatant displays of affection, held hands or had Michael wrap an arm over your waist in casual but adoring affection you craved and yearned for always.
Just one touch from Michael—let alone his presence—was more than enough for you. It did nothing but thrill you all the more knowing this man is yours and you’re his; you’ll have all of Michael whenever you want and however you want.
Distance makes your heart grow fonder when Michael’s away on his business trips or doesn’t come home for a night. You’ve never felt insecurity, unsafe, or any sort of lingering sadness about Michael’s consistent absences to begin with.
Even at the end of a long night with little time to yourselves to follow another eventful one, you’d have just the same satisfaction in Michael’s embrace without the sexual intimacy.
Some of your most loving, romantic nights with Michael were the two of you skin-to-skin on the rooftop, naked and exchanging soft kisses as Michael smoked a cigarette.
Saying, “Yes, I do” and signing your marriage papers, your legal name became Victoria Ferrari Corleone; a unique love and lover to Michael in the sense that Michael could never treat you the way he treated Apollonia or Kay, but exponentially more protective, loving, and open to you in all aspects.
Your compatibility with Michael only resulted in him being all the more open with you; not feeling obligated to because you’ll get upset or ask, but because Michael wishes to—because he wants to.
There’s simply no entitlement; only love and caring. You could not describe your marriage to Michael Corleone in any other way.

Tumblr media
“How would your wedding look like?” She asked, taking a sip of her water bottle.
You chuckled softly at the question, wondering what had prompted it apart from the obvious.
“I haven’t thought about that.” You answered truthfully.
“Not even once?”
“No.”
“You’re lying.” She said, convinced of her own words.
“Am I?”
“You’ve helped hundreds of people with their own.” She pointed out. “It’s impossible not to think of what yours would look like.”
“I help them choose flowers. I’m not organizing their entire reception.” You argued.
“Then you probably thought about that much.”
You turned to her.
She was right, but you weren’t lying either.
Flowers were the only thing you’d envisioned so far.
“So which is it gonna be?” She insisted.
“Moonflowers.” You answered, making her chuckle.
“I could have guessed that.”
“Yet you haven’t.”
You fully expected the way she rolled her eyes at you before looking away to focus on the dark horizon.
A small, comfortable silence settled between the two of you. One of many throughout this spontaneous outing, and with each one, you seemed to appreciate them a little more.
Because they never seem to last with her.
“I’ll get the moonflowers.” She blurted out, cutting the moment short yet again.
“What?”
“For the wedding.” She said, almost shrugging as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.
Given the context, it was, but still… You stayed silent, thinking back to the very reason you were even sitting beside her at the moment.
The two of you were parked at the top of some small hill overlooking part of the town, laying against the windshield of your car and sitting on top of the hood.
All your problems seemed so small up there, barely even deserving of a thought. The afternoon you just spent together did wonders for your souls.
She had asked you to drive around before going back home. That somehow lead you to hours of wasting gas and money at random shops, most of which you’d never even heard of.
The more you followed her around, the more it all felt like a getaway. Not in the idyllic sense, rather in the literal one. You could tell she was avoiding her apartment. Obviously you had an idea as to why, and maybe that’s what pushed you to give in to every single one of her requests.
It was nice doing things she wanted.
Sana eventually realised that was the true reason why she delayed returning to her apartment over and over. She couldn’t care less about the man living there with her, nor about whether or not he was actually waiting for her there.
She just didn’t want it to stop. The feeling of mattering. Of being considered. Being seen. Heard.
Her smile slowly returned as hours went by, justifying everything you’d done for her in so little time. It gave you purpose, proving you weren’t losing your mind in vain.
Because boy did she drive you insane.
Was she really still going through with it all?
“Why don’t you choose your own?” You asked her, trying to distract yourself from your own thoughts.
At the end of the day, it was none of your business. It wasn’t your decision to make.
“Possessive much?” She teased, and you straightened yourself up. The top of this hood suddenly felt uncomfortable.
“Not necessarily. But the only way you’re getting moonflowers at your wedding is by marrying me.”
That’s what you heard yourself say just seconds later.
You’d mumbled it to yourself, letting your old flirting skills and days get the best of you for some reason. You looked at her, hoping she hadn’t heard or at least not enough to get it.
A second passed. Then two. Three.
The lack of questioning was alarming, and in good reason.
You had managed to make her speechless. Unwillingly, yes, but it only made it that much more unbelievable.
Even thinking she couldn’t do, as if her mind had short-circuited at the thought of marrying someone else than the man she’d been conditioned to.
“It was a joke.” You finally spoke up, hoping to break her out of her trance.
It was the truth. It might have been borderline flirting, but the main goal was humor. You were technically joking.
But still. All she did was blink.
Maybe she needed help at finding words, that’s why her lips suddenly fell on yours, right? To steal them from you?
You mentally chuckled at your ridiculous thought process, ashamed of it as if it had been heard by the whole world. Good thing it faded out with each one of her kisses.
She was efficient, you’ll give her that. However what stuck with you was how soft, how delicate her lips were against yours. It debilitated all cognitive functions of your brain. The power was out for at least three seconds at one point. You couldn’t think straight, kissing her back as if you were supposed to.
As if she were yours to begin with.
It’s unclear how long it took for you to gain enough sense back, all you knew was that feeling her bite down on your bottom lip did the trick.
The faint pain as she tugged on it ever so softly snapped you back to reality, warning you about what would come if you didn’t pull away in the next second.
You felt your heart race as it all sunk in.
The one thing you had told yourself not to fall into earlier that day… A trap that seemed so obvious it managed to fool you. You practically jumped into it.
As much as you danced around it, you knew what you were here for. What you’d agreed to. What she wanted you for.
You knew you were just a pawn in her vendetta from the start. She’d made it very clear. So why did the whole idea just dawn on you now?
Maybe you’d turned a blind eye for as long as you could, you couldn’t say to save your life. All you knew was that you didn’t like it one bit.
So when she went for another kiss, leaning in to capture your swollen bottom lip, you made sure she never reached it.
That earned you a confused look from her, as if it were the first time her kiss was denied. The sight would have been amusing, if only you didn’t feel so torn yourself…
Your gaze reflected that to Sana, and she had a hard time figuring out what exactly was it that was so wrong.
Though she could at least tell you were tormented, it was only confirmed when you jumped off the hood.
She watched as you started to walk away from the car and further into the darkness surrounding you.
Where the hell were you going? You were basically in the middle of nowhere.
“Y/N!”
The sound of the rocks and dirt beneath your shoes faded out as you came to a halt, feeling her eyes burning into your back.
“Where are you going?”
You turned around, seeing she had stepped off the hood too, and taken a few steps towards you.
“I’m going home.” You told her, tearing your eyes off her as you started walking away again.
“So you’re leaving me alone in some hilltop at night in the middle of nowhere?”
No, you weren’t.
You made sure to brush right past her on your way back, though, heading straight into the driver’s seat.
Slamming the door behind you, you let out a heavy sigh you were sure she’d heard from outside. It took longer than you’d have liked for her to join you, only sitting in the passenger seat after making sure you’d calmed down.
Not a word from her. Not a sound from you. Only your clothes rubbing together as your leg showed itself to be restless.
You refused to look at her. She didn’t like the attitude, but a part of her could understand. So she didn’t say anything, and stared out her own window in silence.
As minutes went by, your anger and frustration slowly get overcome by a familiar sensation.
Greed. You wanted to know.
Nothing about this woman concerned you. Yet you wanted to know more. You needed to.
The feeling appeared as soon as she’d spoken up at the flower shop, and now it managed to appear without a single word from her.
It was only days ago. The speed of it all was frightening.
Yet you couldn’t help how curious the still silhouette in the corner of your eye made you. What was she thinking about now?
The wedding? Her fiancé? Herself? You?
Turning to look at her, you watched her through a calmer mind as your questions grew in number despite yourself.
“What’s on your mind?” You finally spoke up.
Your voice was louder than you remembered. It startled her, but she hid it well before meeting your gaze.
“Nothing you’d care about.”
You frowned internally. The same feeling as back in the flower shop again. You felt it back when she sat down beside you on the hood earlier too.
She was close. She was pretty. So pretty.
You suddenly felt jealous, and that pretty much signed off on the insanity of this situation you’d somehow put yourself in. Or maybe she’d dragged you in it, who cares, it wasn’t important anymore.
“Don’t get married.”
You whispered this time, but the words were still loud.
Sana closed her eyes, and the silence that followed was loud enough to stress about it. Your words had slipped out again, but this time you found nothing to cover them up with.
Partly because you didn’t even want to cover them up.
Her eyes opened again, allowing the cheap lighting outside to reflect on those beautiful brown eyes. You were in awe at that point. Tired, but still able to appreciate such a pretty sight.
“You’re so unfair.”
You snapped out of your trance at the sound of your own thoughts echoing through her lips.
“What?”
“You know why I brought you here, right?”
Her gaze fixated far ahead while you could only focus on hers. You weren’t trying to make her look at you, though. You were only trying to see what she was seeing.
“Answer me.” She ordered, attempting to conceal the weakness in her voice.
“I do.” You admitted.
“Then help me.” She pleaded. “I can’t do it alone.”
“I’m trying to.” You assured her. “Ever since you stepped into the shop, that’s all I’ve done.”
“Then why did you pull away?”
You sighed once more, finding interest out the windshield as well. Your lips parted without sound for a second, debating on whether or not you should let these words slip out too…
“I don’t want to be your scapegoat.”
Sana swallowed the knot in her throat. The truth was a little hard, but it remained. You were right.
She didn’t plan on kissing you earlier. That alone could have proven your worries to be wrong. However, everything she managed to think about as soon as her lips touched yours… It all gave you more than one reason to worry.
Giving in to desire was weak on her part. Part of her regretted it. It threw away all her hopes of ever pulling the spectacular revenge she dreamed about.
So she had to think of a backup plan.
What she managed to come up with was simple, deprived of any details she would normally be able to think of. Infatuation only allowed her to think of the big picture, while she focused on satisfying her desire.
By that point, she did plan on sleeping with you. She did plan on letting her fiancé find out. And after that, she did plan on throwing you under the bus if things ever got too much to handle.
Now that her mind was given time to properly think, she realised something very upsetting.
This so called backup plan was none other than her inital one. One she’d made up in the lowest point of her life, all out of hope and lost in purpose.
She was back at square one.
“I’m sorry.” She whispered, making you look back at her.
Her eyes were closed, and you found out it was a weak attempt at stopping the tears from rolling down her cheeks.
The sight of them surprisingly left you indifferent. You stared at her in silence for a few long seconds, unsure of what to do, or say.
You were hesitant, but you were far from heartless.
Your index finger ended up reaching for her jaw, catching the salted droplet before it stained the fabric of her pants below. The one on the other side of her face might have, but that wasn’t something to worry about for either of you.
Sana’s mind was stuck on your finger lingering on her sharpest bone. The feeling of your skin against hers, of a touch as innocent as this one… It was conflicting.
She opened her eyes, catching yours by surprise. She expected you to, but you didn’t look away this time. That allowed her to notice the color of your eyes for the first time.
She couldn’t tell you why she got stuck on such a detail, and to be honest, she didn’t feel the need to find a reason.
She could, so she did. Something else she hadn’t been able to do in a long while.
And it felt good.
“Y/N…”
Your jaw clenched at the sound. Your name sounded so pretty enlaced in that sweet voice of hers…
You felt your breath catch in your throat as you anticipated her next words. The flutter in your chest made itself known again as the adrenaline left little room for shock when she’d eventually say them.
“Do you still want to sabotage a wedding?”
A heavy sigh freed the breath that had caught in your throat.
It dawned on you yet again. Hearing those words for a second time… You were going in circles. This really was nothing but a trap.
You didn’t know if she’d done it on purpose, if she lured you in or if she was just as stuck as you were—Hell, you didn’t even care.
You just needed to get out while you could.
So your hand found the key in the ignition, and it took no time for you to start the car up.
The sound of the engine revving as you prepared to leave triggered something in the woman sitting next to you. Something that made her heart race as she began mumbling something.
It seemed as though she was repeating something under her breath, her gaze out in the dark around you and absent like she’d retreated within her own mind.
Her words were loud enough for you to notice she was saying something, but not enough to understand it.
You froze at the scene, unsure if you should hear her out, reassure her or step on the gas. It was obvious what you should do, yet you couldn’t bring yourself to.
So she made you do it herself.
“I don’t want to go back!” She yelled over the engine, and grabbed onto your arm.
You let go of the key, her fingers tightening around your forearm as her eyes looked for yours.
“I don’t want to go back.” She repeated, her voice barely a whisper.
Your eyebrows furrowed, something you could only feel as your body reacted to her once more. You didn’t know what hurt more; seeing the tears pool in her eyes as she struggled to hold them back or her nails digging though the fabric and into your skin.
“Please...”
You couldn’t answer as something on her hand distracted you from the pain. Something shiny. A glimmer on her ring finger—most likely diamonds. Might as well have been rocks; it held no value in that so called promise between her and that man. At the least it didn’t for one of them.
You looked back at the bearer, your jaw tense as you thought. Your mind flashed back to mere moments ago. Why was she still wearing it? She had no right to. Not after leaving such betrayal on your lips.
“Then take it off.” You spoke up, your voice hoarse as if you’d been yelling for liberation.
Her mind was shaken, desperate to see through eyes that looked so unfamiliar now.
Your gaze was stern. It all looked blurry, as if you’d built a wall in front of what she had access to just moments ago…
“What?”
“The ring, Sana. Take it off.”
She barely glanced down at her own hand before looking back at you. The chuckle tasted bitter on your tongue.
“You can’t even face it.”
“That’s all I’ve been telling you.” She let out a defeated sob. “Why don’t you just do it for me?”
You looked back down at her hand, and her gaze followed yours to land there as well. She hated the sight of it. It felt as though it had been there forever.
All she dreamed about was taking it off.
All you had to do was take it off.
So you did, and finally slipped the ring off her finger, holding it between two of your own.
She mindlessly watched as your thumb and index rolled it around to observe it above the steering wheel. All that pain. All that torment. All because of a single, shiny metal ring.
“Doesn’t it feel lighter?” You spoke in an attempt to pull her out of her own mind. The last thing she needed was to get lost in it.
“I…” She trailed off, looking down at her hand, and finally seeing her finger naked in what felt like a lifetime. “It does.”
You trapped the jewel inside your fist, sighing as you leaned back against the back of your seat.
“What are you going to do now?”
“I don’t know.”
“Well…” Your hand found the commands of the automatic windows, pushing the button to roll yours down. “Whatever you do, you take care of yourself.”
Most people would have asked what the hell you were doing. If that ring didn’t hold any sentimental value, financially, it still held its own.
Not Sana, though. She didn’t seem phased by your action as she watched it land who knows where.
“Wait…” She trailed off, rewinding your words. “Are you not going to stick around?”
“I did all I could, Sana.” You started, your eyes focused out the open window as a breeze helped to dry off the tears before they even formed. “I kept my word and helped you. I took it off. But you’re gonna need to face him yourself.”
“But I can’t do it alone—“
“You have to.” You snapped, turning back to look at her. You ignored her lips parted in surprise, and continued. “If what I’ve learned about you in this short time is true, it’s the only way you’ll ever be free.”
“What have you learned?”
“Nothing.” You scoffed. “That’s why you have to do it. You’re the only one who actually knows how to deal with this. I can be by your side all you want, but I’ll never be any help. No one ever will.”
Your rant caused a small sob to escape her lips, and she ignored your surprise when she reached for your hand. You could only let her again, allowing yourself to relish in her touch and find pleasure in your body’s reactions to it.
You looked down at your joined hands, watching her intertwine them. You found yourself responding to her touch, your fingers closing around hers.
“Then at least stay.”
You softly caressed the top of her thumb, giving yourself some time to actually think before agreeing this time.
“On one condition.” You said, finding her eyes.
“What is it?”
You glanced down at your tangled hands.
It was an insane thing to look at. To feel. It didn’t make any sense. You’d only met her three days ago. You’d only spent an afternoon, part of an evening with her.
Yet so much happened. So much was felt.
You blinked, and her hand was still in yours. It felt good. But it lacked warmth.
It was telling.
At that moment in time, deep down, you knew this wouldn’t last.
Maybe you’ll part ways right after she’d break the engagement off. Maybe you’ll date and break up once you realise it was all comfort and reassurance disguising as love and affection. Maybe she won’t even break the engagement off.
Whatever the reason, you knew you wouldn’t see her at your wedding.
So you had to make one last thing clear.
“I keep the moonflowers.”

Hey Lee 🤗 I haven't yet participated in your celebration for which i'm sorry so i'm here to remedy this fact 😁 And in a true sleepover fashion i ask: how would your wedding with May look like 🤭 What kind of dress would you wear? What flavour would the cake be?
Isa, tysm for helping me celebrate! It wouldn't be the same without you 🥰 I love this question so much, I've delayed answering bc I've been daydreaming about it and creating a moodboard which you can find here ☺️ Now imagine me squealing with delight as I proceed to discuss my fake wedding!
My wedding to May Carleton will be in the garden and as informal as possible despite the grandiose setting of her country manor. Wearing riding boots instead of heels bc I imagine us making our exit from the party on horseback. There will be an adorable sign affixed to the tail as well that reads Just Married.
As for the dress, I'd like something besides traditional white. Perhaps a gold that would catch the light. But nothing with a big skirt or veil that would snag on the thorns of the flower bushes. I'd prob choose a few simple adornments like you see in the moodboard--a unique onyx engagement ring and loosely wrapped bouquet.
The cake will give you the giggles bc it's made from wheels of cheese garnished with fruit. (Cillian would approve, wouldn't he? 😂) In my daydreams May and I feed the leftover fruit to the horses after the guests have departed. There's something about that moment I return to bc it feels so cozy and domestic. Wedding gowns trailing thru the dirt as we walk the stables arm in arm, stealing kisses in the twilight and thinking of our future.

Don't Hurt Yourself Part 2

AN: hehehe yall ain't ready for this one but.... let's goooooo 🤭🤭🤭
Synopsis: After your family and friends learn about what Jack did to you at the baby shower for your little girl they give him absolute hell
Pairing: Husband!Jack Harlow x Wife! Reader
Please do not repost my content anywhere
Read Part 1 so you know why we all want to beat Jackman's ass 🙃
After you threw your necklace and wedding ring at Jack, you ran off into the house followed by Bianca, your mom, your sister, and Maggie.
Clay was the first to speak and was looking at his older brother in disbelief. The disappointment was evident on his face.
As much as Jack would talk about you and how he wanted to marry you was baffling to him, because what would he cheat on you for?
"What the actual fuck is wrong with you?"
"I.. umm.."
"Damn, I told Y/N earlier how if you messed up to come and find me but got damn Jack. Like... how you do your girl like that? YOUR WIFE? Her best friend though? Come on now man." Druski asked while trying to make sense of everything.
At this point no one could.
"But while she was pregnant? It's already bad enough you cheated, but she's carrying your child." Megan muttered before deciding to go and check on you to see if she could do anything to ease the pain she knew you were feeling.
Just then Jack made eye contact with your older brother who had his jaw clenched sitting next to your father.
He knew his ass was in for it now.
Not even two seconds later your brother ran towards him and before anyone could catch him, he sent a punch flying to the left side of Jack's face.
"Oh FUCK!"
Meanwhile in the house, your mom, Maggie, Bianca, Meg, and your sister Vanessa were trying to get you to calm down so that you wouldn't put yourself or your little one in distress.
"Sweetie, you need to breathe. Otherwise you're going to cause yourself to have a panic attack." Maggie pleaded while looking at you concerned.
Just about everyone knew about your panic attacks so it wasn't a secret. However, when you and Jack first started dating, they occurred less and less often. Who would've thought that the one person that always kept you calm had now sent you into panic mode.
"I'm trying.... it's just hard for me to catch my breath."
"It's going to be okay. You and the baby are going to have the best support system. You'll get through this."
"But... I don’t want to get through this. I want my husband. He always made me feel safe and that we could get through anything that life threw at us. I just want to have that feeling back." You replied as tears cascaded down your face. You had held them in long enough.
"I love him so so so much and I... why would he do this?"
Your mom wrapped her arm around you as you laid your head on her shoulder.
"No one can answer that but him. However, I didn't raise him to be like that. I can't even tell you how disappointed I am with him."
"I already know they are tearing his ass up outside." Meg added while handing you another tissue.
"Well whatever he has coming to him, he deserves it."
The front door opened and Neelam walked in with both of her hands filled with gifts.
"Sorry, I'm late mamas. My flight was delayed and it was a whole hot mess but.."
She set the gifts down when she noticed you were crying.
"What the hell did he do?"
You didn't even have a chance to answer her when you heard footsteps quickly approaching the living room and looked up to see Urban in a panic.
"Uhh, Y/N, your brother may or may not be kicking your husband's ass right now."
"Wait, what?"
You made a motion to stand up but was softly pressed back down by your mom and Maggie.
"We'll handle it. You stay here with Neelam, Vanessa, Megan, and Bianca."
You quickly nodded as Neelam took the place of Maggie once she got up.
"Sweetheart, what happened? I already have a feeling I'm going to have to kill Jack but I at least need to know what for."
You remained quiet and Vanessa spoke up for you.
"He's been cheating on her with Melanie for six months."
"Wait, WHAT? Your best friend Melanie? And the entire time you were pregnant?"
You simply nodded as the tears started to flow once again.
"Oh, sweetheart I am so so so sorry."
Neelam proceeded to give you a hug and the tears started to flow even more.
She was the entire reason that you and Jack were together.
She saw the way he kept looking at you from afar and had given him the courage that he needed to pursue you.
No one ever thought in a million years that this would happen to one of the most beloved couples in Hollywood.
But, here we are.
Once everything had finally gotten settled, it was only Maggie and Jack left in the backyard. It was now around 6 pm. It took Clay, Urban, Druski, 2fo, and Sunni to get your brother off of Jack. They were sitting across from one another in silence and Maggie had a look of disappointment on her face while Jack was trying to do anything and everything except look at his mother.
"Jackman Thomas..."
"Yes ma'am?"
Jack was currently sporting a busted lip along with a knot on the side of his head. Courtesy of your big brother.
"I don't even know where to begin.."
"Ma..."
"STOP." She held up her hand instantly making him go quiet.
"I raised you better than this. The last thing I ever thought would happen would be you cheating on Y/N. And the fact that she's pregnant too? With Melanie at that? What were you thinking? Better yet, you weren't thinking at all."
"I wasn't.. and I don't know what I saw in her."
"Me either. You always said how Y/N was everything you ever wanted and she was your soul mate. Is this how we treat our soul mates?"
"No..."
"She should divorce you."
Jack's eyes went wide as he was now playing with your necklace and wedding band set you threw at him earlier.
The chain was now broken because of the force you used to tear it off your neck.
"But..."
"No Jackman. You did her wrong and you deserve to suffer the consequences. So, when your little girl grows up could you imagine her husband doing this to her?"
"No, I would..."
"Exactly. So why did you do that to someone else's baby girl?"
He didn't have an answer.
"Pack a bag because you're staying with me. Everyone wants to murder you but since you're my child I've decided not too. Give Y/N some space."
"But she's pregnant, I can't leave her here by herself."
"You weren't concerned about her being pregnant when you were with her best friend. Besides she won't be by herself."
As much as Jack didn't want to leave, he had to give you your space. He had a lot to think about and a lot of work to do if he planned on getting that necklace around your neck and ring back on your finger.
Everyone made sure that the two of you didn't cross paths as Jack packed a bag in order to stay with his parents.
Bianca, Vanessa, Neelam, and your mom volunteered to stay with you even though you were trying to convince them that you would be okay by yourself.
Even though you knew for a damn fact that you wouldn't be.
You had taken a shower and was now back sitting on the couch as Neelam and Bianca brought in the last of the gifts from outside to put in your baby girl's room.
You had to keep yourself occupied so that you wouldn't dwell on the events that happened today so you decided to take down your faux locs and have Vanessa help you wash it and do a different style for you tomorrow.
You were getting close to the back of your hair when your phone went off.
It was Jack's ringtone alerting you that he sent a text.
Hubby- Please don’t ever think for a second that I don't love you because I do. I know I hurt you and I don't know why I did what I did. I'm going to fix this for you and our daughter.
You debated on if you should even answer him. Twenty minutes had passed before you started to type.
You- I threw the ring at you for a reason.
Hubby- Baby please don't do this.
You- You brought this on yourself. Our daughter and I will be just fine.
Hubby- at least give me a chance to fix this.
You- My heart has been shattered by you. Seems as if it will cause me more harm to pick up the pieces and fix it than to let it be. Go back to Melanie since that's what you've been doing this whole time.
Hubby- She'll never be you
You- And don't I fucking know it but apparently you didn't. Me and my daughter are going to sleep. Good night.
You weren't in fact going to sleep, but you were done having this conversation.
That was when you decided to put your phone on DND so you could finish your hair without being interrupted.
You could tell that the little one was awake because she kept kicking and it felt like she was practicing for the circus.
She always increased the kicks when Jack was around.
If she heard his voice, put his hand on your stomach, or even embraced you, she began to kick.
She was definitely going to be a daddy's girl.
There was no way in the world that you would ever keep them from each other and you just hoped that they would have a close relationship like you had with your father.
You also prayed that when she got older that she never found out about this.
Vanessa came to sit next to you and start on the other side of your hair. She worked in silence because she didn't even know what to say at this point to comfort you. You were her little sister and she would always protect you. But this was one thing that she couldn't protect you from.
"Y/N...."
"Yeah, Nessa?"
"If you want me to cut his dick off just say the word."
This made you laughed as you were finishing taking out another loc.
"I just... never thought I would be in a position like this."
"I know. But, you have a little girl depending on you now and that's where you need to put all your energy." Vanessa replied and you were met with a series of kicks as you placed your hand on her stomach.
"She's going to be good."
"No, the both of you are going to be good."
Jack was going through it.
It had been about a week since the entire ordeal happened and the first thing he did was cut all ties to Melanie.
He still remembers the look of disappointment upon his mother's face.
The last thing he ever wanted to do was disappoint his parents.
But he not only did that, but disappointed you at the same time.
At one point Melanie was trying to plead with him that now they could be together without you getting in the way but he quickly shut that down.
"One thing I know for a fact is that you'll never be on the same level as my wife."
She didn't take too well to that.
He was trying to keep himself distracted the best way he could when he decided to text Neelam to check up on you.
He knew better than to text you directly since all that would probably happen is you reading it and proceeding to ignore him.
Jack- Hey Neelam
Neelam- She’s fine, your daughter is fine
Jack- thank you
Neelam- I should kill you 😡
Jack- you and everyone else 😔
Neelam- no you don't get to use the sad face emoji. you did this shit. you ruined your marriage.
Jack- you don't need to remind me
Neelam- obviously someone does. I literally cannot believe you.
Jack- what am I going to do if she decides to divorce me?
Neelam- sign the damn papers
Jack- NEELAM! I can't let that happen
Neelam- should've thought about that before putting your dick in places it didn't belong
Jack- I literally cannot see myself being with someone else
Neelam- did you seriously just say that? 🤔
Jack- you know what I mean!
Neelam- I clearly do not because you were in fact with someone else. HER BEST FRIEND.
Jack- I didn't text you to be yelled at
Neelam- if you think I'm yelling now, just wait until I see you in person for your next appearance. Leave her to heal and keep your distance. I doubt you'll see her until she gives birth.
Jack- that's three months away! 😳
Neelam- you made this decision so you have to deal with the consequences. it's late so try and sleep.
Jack- easier said than done
Once he stopped texting Neelam, he started going through his photos.
They were mostly of the both of you.
First date, the date where he asked you to be his girlfriend, first time he took you to Louisville, when he proposed, the wedding pictures, and he finally landed on the video where you found out you were pregnant. He could hear his voice as the camera was turned on you.
"Stink, I'm nervous. What if it's negative?"
"Then we try again smush. That's the best part anyway."
You rolled your eyes before laughing at how silly your husband was.
"Go on babe, go look."
You walked closer to the bathroom counter and took a deep breath before picking up the test. Once you did, your eyes got wide.
"Smush, what's it say?"
"Looks like you're earned the title of daddy."
"You already call me that though."
"Jackman!"
The video ended with Jack setting his phone down, picking you up, and planting kisses all over your face.
"She's going to have the best parents any little girl could ask for." Was the last thing Jack heard before his eyes started to water.
He only had himself to blame.
But, he was determined to make this right.
His wife and his daughter were depending on him.
Just then his phone began ringing and recognized the number as being Melanie's.
He rolled his eyes but answered anyway.
"What do you want? I told you to stop calling me."
"I didn't want to but.... I think I'm pregnant."
"You have got to be fucking kidding me."

Age reversal au~! Can we have that moment where jyl asks wwx how does he know love is or how he knew that he was in love. Or at the very least jiang fam bonding 🤭🤭🤭
"Da-ge?" Jiang Yanli asks, when her oldest brother comes back home to Lotus Pier for the first time after his wedding. "How did you know you were in love with Hanguang-jun?"
"Hanguang-jun? Who's this Hanguang-jun?" Xian-gege chides, holding baby A-Yuan up to plant a wet kiss on Yanli's cheek. "He's been your brother-in-law for a year now. You can just call him Wangji-gege."
"No, I can't!" Yanli says, horrified by the mere thought of it. "But ge, I didn't want to ask about him, really. I just wanted to know how you realized he was more than a friend to you."
Wei Wuxian squints. "Are you in love with someone, A-Li?"
Jiang Yanli coughs, flushing darker than the embroidered lotus flowers on her ruqun, and her brother jumps up from his chair so suddenly that Yuanyuan yells out a protest. "A-Die is sorry, Baobao," he soothes, stroking the baby's head until he settles down again. “But A-Li, who-?”
“Gege!” she wails. “Just tell me how you knew, first!”
“All right, all right. Hm, how I knew I liked Lan Zhan...I think it started as soon as the day I met him, but I didn’t know it was anything more than friendship until he asked if he could court me,” Xian-gege tells her. “Once there was a choice to be with him, I knew there would be no other way forward for me. That’s a good way to think about it, meimei--if the person you’re thinking about came to you tomorrow and asked you to marry him, and you knew that he loved you with all his heart, could you bear to say no?”
Yanli blushes even harder. “No, I--I don’t think I could.”
“Then you have your answer, don’t you?”
“I guess I do,” she says quietly. “But he doesn’t like me.”
Oh, Jin Zixuan likes her well enough, as well as boys like the baby sisters of their sworn brothers, but he’s never looked at her as anything more than Er-ge’s sweet meimei, no matter how earnestly she tried to make him see that she wasn’t a little girl any more. Yanli is already eighteen, and her eighteen years aren’t so few in comparison to Jin Zixuan’s twenty-three as eight would be to thirteen, so why won’t Zixuan-ge forget the little young mistress she used to be, and treat her as the grown guniang she is?
“Are you sure?” Xian-gege says gently. “You’re the dearest and wisest girl I’ve ever known, A-Li. Who wouldn’t love you?”
A tear runs down Jiang Yanli’s cheek.
“He’s engaged to someone else,” she sniffles. “I know it’s wrong to--to like someone who wouldn’t be free to love me back--but the engagement’s not his choice, and he and his intended don’t like each other, so I thought...”
Her brother closes his eyes, looking as pained as Yanli feels, and draws her into his arms.
“Is it Jin Zixuan?”
Jiang Yanli bursts into sobs.
“It is,” she chokes. “I’ve liked him all my life, and I tried to stop after I knew he was supposed to marry Su-jie, but I couldn’t--”
“Did that peacock lead you on?” Wei Wuxian demands. “If he did, I’ll drag him here from Lanling this very minute to kneel and beg forgiveness in front of Jiang-shushu, betrothal or no betrothal!”
“No! No, it wasn’t like that.”
Xian-gege draws back. “All right, then,” he says decisively. “A-Li, don’t cry. Your gege will fix this for you.”
Yanli blinks at him, perplexed. “I don’t see how.”
“I’m going to tell Wen Ning to hurry up and make his move,” her brother mutters. “He’s been delaying his coronation because he’s afraid being Wen-zongzhu will distance him from Qing-meimei and his little cousins, but he really can’t afford to put this off any longer.”
“Put what off?”
“Go bathe your face and have lunch with Auntie,” he urges. “Gege has letters to write.”
So Jiang Yanli goes, more bewildered than ever. She takes A-Yuan with her to visit Mother in the south pavilion, and Xian-gege runs off to write to Wen Qionglin, though Jiang Yanli can’t imagine what he could do to resolve a foolish matter of the heart like this one.
But two months later, after Wen Ruohan steps down and yields the zongzhu’s seat to his nephew, she finally gets her answer: because Wen Qionglin shocks the whole cultivation world by kidnapping Qin Su from her manor in Laoling, and forcefully taking her to wife before Qin Cangye could even send word of her disappearance to Jin Guangshan.
"I don’t care,” Wen Qionglin shrugged, when emissaries from Laoling and Lanling came to plead for Qin Su’s release, reminding Wen-zongzhu of her lifelong engagement to Jin Zixuan and the dowry Qin Cangye was supposed to sign over to Jin Guangshan in return for his daughter’s bride price. “I’ve already married her. Maiden Qin and I are one from now unto the world’s ending, and I will not even think of parting from her until Jin Zixuan himself comes to challenge me for her hand.”
But Jin Zixuan did not go, unwilling to take his sect to war for a woman already wed; and Qin Su remained in Qishan as Wen Ning’s lawful bride, giving birth to a daughter by him within ten months of the wedding. She had turned out to be a very competent Wen-furen, using the education she was given as the future mistress of the Jinlintai to govern the Qishan Wen sect, and she hid her despair over her kidnapping so well that no one could pity her for it.
“You knew,” Yanli accuses her brother, after the jianghu finally recovers from the backlash. “Gege, you planned this!”
Wei Wuxian laughs and pats her head.
“It was a love match, A-Li,” he grins. “How do you think A-Ning managed to steal her so easily, ah? Qin-guniang went with him willingly.”
The next time Yanli sees Qin Su is at baby Wen Xuan’s full-moon celebration, and indeed, there is no shadow of pain about her. The new Wen-furen is radiant, glorying in every look and gentle touch from her husband, and baby Xuanxuan is perfect: the very picture of her mother, and so healthy and strong that Wen-zongzhu named her the heir to his clan the very day she was born.
“A-Li?” someone calls, while Jiang Yanli is busy leaning over the baby’s crib and letting Xuan-bao squeeze all the blood out of her poor, unsuspecting fingers. “A-Li, you’ve been there a while. Can I fetch you something to eat?”
She turns, scarcely recognizing the voice--for while she knew it, it had never been directed at anyone so reverently as this before, and certainly never at her.
“Zixuan-ge,” she gasps, trying to pry her hand out of Wen Xuan’s iron grip. “What are you doing here?”
He quirks a brow at her. “I was invited, remember?”
“No, I know that. But what are you doing here? All the men are with Wen-zongzhu in the feasting hall, aren’t they?”
“En, they are,” Jin Zixuan replies, rubbing his neck awkwardly. “But I thought that you must be hungry, and I knew you wouldn’t want to eat in there, so I was wondering if...”
Jiang Yanli’s heart flutters.
“You thought right,” she says, meeting Jin Zixuan’s eyes with her own. “Go fetch us some dinner from the feasting hall, Zixuan-ge. I’d like it very much.”
