One year ago this month (just before life came to a screaming halt) I started taking large format film photographs of the teachers and administrators at the South Shore Art Center. A personal project and also a way for me to bring attention to the center where I am on the board of directors, teach a little bit and am trying to develop a film and darkroom program. The SSAC took a major hit in 2020, and the darkroom program is on the back-burner, but the center is hanging in there and slowly opening back up. (virtual and safe in-person studio classes) .
