Hey, I've been thinking about something and need your opinion

I've been seeing a lot of Kyle Broflovski x reader smau stories and I've been wondering if I should start my own? I mean I definitely want to start my own story but i don't have an idea on what au it sould be

I do have a couple ideas so you can vote :) and I would like to point this out, I have not read a single Kyle b x reader smau aside from the after hours series, so I don't know if some of these ideas are already taken, please leave a comment if they are

Okay, so for the Monster AU Y/n's family has for centuries been fighting this monster, and it likes to mess with people's brains and make illusions, but it only affects Y/n's family, and as time goes by Y/n has to act like everything is fine towards her firends and crush but each day the monster is more persistand and it gets harder and harder to act normal (I honestly don't know how I'm going to make this a smau but we'll see)

For the Powers AU Y/n has been born with powers, as suspected, and has to live a normal life masking them, but one problem. Their powers are tied with their emotions, and they have to avoid Kyle as much as possible as to not reveal their powers, but the more they avoid him the more heartbroken you two become (again, don't know how I'm gonna make this but we'll see)

Now for the Different AU you are from a completely different universe and somehow managed to get your phone linked up to another universe. You somehow managed to befriend Kyle through text and slowly fall in love, but you don't know how you're gonna break it to him that you are in fact not from his universe

Popular AU is kind of what you think it is but not at the same time? You are basically the show off of your school, you have a band, you're an artist, you are perfect in every single subject and everyone loves you, but you're not the popular kid, no, you actually prefer to be alone. So what happens when the Kyle Broflovski suddenly messages you out of the blue, gonna mention the fact you are absolutely head over heels for him

And finally Cursed AU is kind of a mix of the monster AU and powers AU. You, at a very young age, got cursed by a witch that your mother provoked. You always had bad luck and not to mention it was nearly impossible for you to make friends at school, having a somewhat black scar over your cheek and a white streek of hair to just show how cursed you were, kids always stood away from you and thought you would eat them if you came near, also getting bullied was a thing. But what happens when a brave teen finally decided to see you, the real you (again and again, don't know how I'm gonna make this a smau)

Anyway, I'm gonna give y'all a week to vote and I hope that will be enough time :)

helloo im not the same anon, i actually rlly like your work 🥹. but can i politely ask how you got to writing for them? because in the show they technically are 4th graders, who still act like kids regardless of what situations the show puts them in (like when they were confused why the teenagers kept buying lotion/staying in the bathroom). so what drove you to write romantic fics for them? im not accusing you of anything, actually i read fanfics of them too. and i understand you dont write them as the kids they are, thus i dont read them as that either. i just wanted to know :D, because me personally when i got into the sp fandom, it was full of fanart of them as teenagers. and i guess that's how i found myself getting attracted to them. in the show though i just view them as silly little skrunklies.

i got to writing them because of gracie actually 😭 (@777bambi) which … 🧍 is embarrassing to admit a lil yk BUT

it’s true for me too that when i watch the show they’re the little sillies and i view them as yk genuine kids in the show because well??? they are LITERAL 4th graders in the show. however when writing about them i’ve always imagined them as adults so imagine anywhere from their post covid ages to college age.

when im writing for their college age era, the face claims i used for the smau is actually what i envision them as half the time. sometimes the teen / young adult fanart that artists draw will pop up in my head, but considering the smau i have, it’s usually the face claims that i chose for them that i tend to envision when writing (it’s like a 65/35 split i’d say haha). thank u for asking!!

Lowkey curious, do you have any sp ships? If di, how many of them (other then kyle x reader) will be in smau?

I’m so glad you asked! So I have a few ships I adore that will be making an appearance such as Creek and bunny (Craig x Tweek and Kenny X butters) but they are more background and hinted at. Clyde and Bebe, Tolkien and nicole, and so are Stan and Wendy! Those are the only ones I have planned thus far unfortunately Eric Cartman isn’t planned to have an interest but it could change but probably not.
