Note
hi im new here can you give a brief rundown of like you lol?? where youve lived, jobs, partners, interests, give me the idsb lore please!!!!!
hi!! sure, I have a lot of new followers and I was just thinking the other day abt this and how my blog is like 70/30 my personal life v Taylor so that must be confusing for new people. so yes! here's the spark notes:
My name is Holly and I just turned 28! I grew up outside of Boston and lived in NYC for ~10 years after I went to art school there. I dropped out of college after one semester to pursue my actual dream of touring with artists. After I dropped out I spent a while willingly homeless in NYC so that I could establish myself & my career there. Eventually it worked & I had been doing freelance photography, videography, graphic design and merch sales as steady income since ~2017. I was in a 5 year, emotionally abusive relationship with my high school sweetheart and finally ended it in 2018. A bit after this, I went to Australia for the first time with my then-friend now-boyfriend (Nov 2018). I've been obsessed with Australia since I was like 5 years old and it was an incredible adventure. I spent about 3 weeks there alone without then-friend, and during those 3 weeks met a Man. The last night we spent in Australia on this trip was Christmas Eve, and said man invited me to have an outdoor Love Actually screening and have a wine picnic with him and all his friends. it was one of the best nights of my life. We hooked up and he singlehandedly cured some sex-related fears I had from the previous relationship and I couldn't stop thinking about it for months. Back in America (Jan 2019) I entered my hoe phase in a never-ending quest for validation and slept with every guitarist I'd ever worked with while meanwhile having a big mental breakdown. Enter a John Mayer vibing man we called the Guitarist here, and a lot of Bad Shit he did to me in his own validation quest mental breakdown (May-August 2019). Clearly my only choice was to fly back to Australia to see the other guy! And I did (September 2019)! Then I was mega depresso when I went home bc my life felt hopeless & I'd already lived out all the hope it had going for it :) I continued my hoe phase and chronicled it via Spice Nights where I’d just answer nsfw asks and give advice for like 8 hours straight. This is waxing over it but it was chaotic and I cannot understate the Depression (Feb 2020).
Then the pandemic happened whomp whomp. I lost all my gigs and posted about it on Tumblr dot com, this blog gained a very large following sort of bc of being a Taylor blog and sort of bc of live-blogging all the drama. ms Taylor Swift saw it and she sent me $3,000 to cover my rent for all of lockdown. a lot happened as a result of that but in the end I realized it was not smart to stay in NYC and spent summer 2020 roadtripping around the US with my then-friend who had first come to Australia with me, who had since joined the leagues of guitar-playing-employer-i-was-sleeping-with (there were 4 in total but I was in loveeeeee w this one). Big Cruel Summer vibes. my friend group exploded partially as a result of my behavior and partially bc they were cunts who didn't care about John Mayer vibe man manipulating me. So then I said fuck it and moved to Montana to work in a national park w guitar guy I Actually Loved who had become my boyfriend at that point, and we lived there until winter 2021. Then I started touring again, got insanely successful, was making more money than most people I knew with salaried jobs and booking work all over the world, my relationship ended over some drama I found out about way after the fact but then we got back together & moved in together (May 2023). Going great. Then I got so fucking burnt out from my job I was like stop the presses I am fucking off to Australia I can't do the music industry and the mega late-stage capitalism anymore. so now I live in Melbourne and am a bartender at a fancy cocktail bar and my relationship is sort of a LDR but I’m going home soon maybe(?) and that is what you missed on Glee!!!!

First cast for Limbo - The Return at new West End Electric
New Post has been published on https://qnews.com.au/first-cast-for-limbo-the-return-at-new-west-end-electric/
First cast for Limbo - The Return at new West End Electric
Powerhouse songstress and firebreathing queen Clara Fable will finally get to show her family what she can do when Limbo – The Return has its Queensland premiere during the Brisbane Festival 2024.
The global smash-hit show is an intoxicating mix of cabaret, circus, acrobatics and live music. Limbo – The Return is the first to tread the boards of the brand new 400-seat theatre and bar The West End Electric when it opens on August 29, 2024.
“I grew up in Brisbane since I was five years old, and all my family are in South East Queensland,” Clara (above) says.
“And I have such great memories from when I was 18 or 19, working as the face of some of Brisbane’s most famous nightclubs at the time, like the Family.
“I always loved the West End. It’s where you go for great food and drinks and a more sophisticated night out. So I couldn’t be more excited to perform at our all-new venue, The West End Electric. I hear the cocktails are going to be amazing.”
Limbo – The Return reimagines the original Limbo stage show, which brought fire-breathing and gravity-defying stunts to stages in no less than 17 countries.
Learning the most deadly fire performance act in just 24 hours, Clara (below) has wowed audiences on Limbo stages across Europe, New Zealand, Japan and the United States.
Image: Damien Bredburg
‘More wildly exciting than ever’
Clara will breathe fire, dance and sing alongside a global cast of world-leading circus and performance artists, including Limbo’s extraordinary NYC maestro Sxip Shirey.
Sxip Shirey leads a motley band of multi-instrumentalists performing his signature Jank sound, inspired by New Orleans big brass bands, hip-hop, electronic and Balkan music.
Sxip is flying into Brisbane from New York with his small circus family. Together with his wife and creative partner Coco Karol, Sxip has orchestrated large-scale immersive choral events at venues like The Sydney Opera House and Rockefeller Center NYC.
“I have composed for circus, for dance, for theatre, and for main stage opera and orchestras. I have performed at TED, and I have written songs for people like Rhiannon Giddens and Puddles Pity Party,” Sxip says.
“But what (director) Scott Maidment has invited me to do with LIMBO has its own brand of magnificence.
“That’s why I am still touring with the show, over 10 years after I began working on it. And now that we have created Limbo – The Return, it’s more wildly exciting than ever.”
Image: Damien Bredburg
The West End Electric is opening in August
The new high-powered extravaganza Limbo – The Return comes from Brisbane-bred, globally acclaimed production house Strut & Fret (Blanc de Blanc, The Party).
Limbo is a show that wowed Madonna so much she saw it twice and then asked the director to work on her world tour.
New venue The West End Electric is the Brisbane sister of Strut & Fret’s Sydney theatre The Grand Electric.
The Grand Electric, which opened in 2023, has been likened to a New York club or a theatre in Paris’ Moulin Rouge district.

Scott Maidment is creative director of Strut & Fret and is director of Limbo – The Return.
“When we open The West End Electric in August, Queensland audiences will literally see sparks fly,” Scott says.
“Expect a cracking cocktail list and the kind of experiences that have you on the edge of your seat – starting with LIMBO – THE RETURN.”
Limbo – The Return opens on August 29 during the Brisbane Festival. Tickets are on sale now via www.thewestendelectric.com

Dove Cameron and Damiano David's Relationship Timeline
Tumblr media
Dove Cameron and Damiano David are putting their love in the spotlight.  The couple first confirmed their relationship in February and have stepped out together a few times since. Most recently, they attended the Met Gala as a duo, posing together on the red carpet. The “Boyfriend” singer wore a floral gown and smiled happily with her Måneskin frontman beau, who wore a sheer suit that showed off his many tattoos.  The duo first sparked dating rumors back in September 2023, a few months after David had announced his split from his long-term girlfriend Giorgia Soleri. Cameron, meanwhile, was previously linked to her Descendants costar Thomas Doherty. After meeting on the set of the Disney Channel film, they dated for almost four years before Cameron confirmed their breakup in December 2020.  Here’s a complete timeline of Dove Cameron and Damiano David’s relationship.
September 2023: Dove Cameron and Damiano David spark dating rumors
Cameron and David first sparked dating rumors in September 2023, when the “Breakfast” singer was spotted attending one of his concerts at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The outing came a few months after David confirmed he was no longer in a relationship with Giorgia Soleri. He announced their split shortly after he was spotted kissing a mystery woman. "I am very sorry this video came out, it was not how I wanted to handle the situation and it was my mistake," he reportedly wrote on his Instagram Stories. David continued, writing that he and Soleri had broken up several days ago and there had been "no betrayals of any kind." He added, "I hope this doesn't affect Giorgia's image and that you can respect the delicacy of this moment.”
November 4, 2023: Dove Cameron attends Damiano David’s concert in Brazil
In early November 2023, Cameron and David were seen leaving his concert in Brazil together, according to photos obtained by Just Jared. The two kept things low-key as they made their way out of the venue and slipped into a car.

Stereo Embers The Podcast: Graham Parker
Tumblr media
Thursdays 2pm-3pm EST 11pm-12pm PDT 7pm-8pm BST bombshellradio.com stereoembersmagazine.com Stereo Embers Magazine #StereoEmbers, #podcast, #RadioShow, #AlexGreen, #Nowplaying, #BombshellRadio, #StereoEmbersThePodcast Repeats Fridays 1am EST and Sundays 11am EST “The Songs Between The Docks and the Roads” Over the course of his career, the east London-born singer/songwriter Graham Parker has put out close to thirty albums and they’re all great. All of them—Whether its Howlin' Wind or Squeezing out Sparks or Another Grey Area or Deepcut To Nowhere or Cloud Symbols, every single GP album is a winner. Parker grew up a huge fan of the Beatles, Otis Redding, Sam Cooke and ska and reggae music and you can hear those influences coursing through his songbook. His compositions swing and shake and sway and groove with some of the most infectious pop hooks you’ll ever hear. Parker’s early life could be a series of novels—he hung out in the Channel Islands and Paris, hitchhiked thourhg Spain and Morocco and worked on the docks in Gibraltar. And you and I both know, there are stories in between those docks and roads and islands. Graham Parker has lived a life. And his life in music is equally as staggering as his adventures. With his band the Rumor he was produced by Nick Lowe, opened for Dylan, played on Top Of The Pops, had Top 40 hits and albums, toured Australia, been on labels as varied as RCA, Arista and Bloodshot and collaborated with folks like Bill Janovitz of Buffalo Tom, The Smithereens and Kate Pierson of the B-52s. And he’s stilt at it. His two new singles (“Humans Are The Mutant Virus” and '3-D Printer”) are all the proof you need that Parker is still at the top of his game. He’s practically peerless. His new album Last Chance To Learn The Twist will be out in September, 2023. www.grahamparker.net www.100-percent.co.uk www.alexgreenonline.com www.bombshellradio.com Stereo Embers The Podcast Twitter: @emberseditor Instagram: @emberspodcast Email: [email protected] Read the full article

BONUS: How You Can Help Fight Diet Culture in Your Life with Heather Caplan, Anti-Diet Dietitian
To celebrate the release of ANTI-DIET in paperback, we're bringing you a special bonus episode with a rare recording from the hardcover book tour! Fellow anti-diet dietitian Heather Caplan interviews Christy in front of a live audience about how to fight the co-opting of the anti-diet movement; language to use when talking to people who are brand new to this approach; how to spread the anti-diet message in healthcare, schools, the social sciences, and your own life; how Christy got away with writing a book called ANTI-DIET in a culture that’s very much *pro* diet; and lots more. The interview was recorded at East City Bookshop in Washington, DC, in February 2020, and it's still all too relevant for the coming New Year.
Heather Caplan is an anti-diet, weight-inclusive registered dietitian with a virtual private practice. She is the founder and director of Weight Inclusive Nutrition and Dietetics (WIND), a continuing-education and networking event series for dietitians and healthcare professionals. Her work pulls from the foundations of medical nutrition therapy, non-diet and intuitive eating principles, and weight-inclusive practices. In her business, all practitioners take a non-diet, weight-inclusive approach to care. Heather works 1:1 with clients across the country, and offers support and supervision to fellow RDs (and dietitians-to-be), especially those in transition from traditional nutrition practices to an approach informed by body liberation and Health at Every Size principles. As a free option to learn more about non-diet and weight-inclusive practices, Heather hosts a weekly podcast, RD Real Talk, talking with fellow anti-diet, weight-inclusive practitioners. Heather and her work have been featured in national publications such as The Washington Post, Runner’s World, Outside Online, NBC News, EatingWell, and Women’s Running. Find more of her writing and real talk at heathercaplan.com.
Christy Harrison, MPH, RD, CEDRD is an anti-diet registered dietitian nutritionist, certified intuitive eating counselor, certified eating disorders registered dietitian, and journalist. She’s the author of Anti-Diet: Reclaim Your Time, Money, Well-Being, and Happiness Through Intuitive Eating (Little, Brown Spark 2019), and her second book, Rethinking Wellness, will be published by the same imprint in 2023. Since 2013 Christy has hosted Food Psych, a weekly podcast exploring people’s relationships with food and paths to body liberation. It’s been one of Apple’s top 100 Health podcasts for the past 5 years, reaching tens of thousands of listeners worldwide each week. In addition to her media work, Christy offers online courses and private intuitive eating coaching to help people all over the world make peace with food and their bodies.
