Colourful Cheeto Simmies - SpecularMap issue with CC tattoos [Fix!]

Before we begin: I can't tell if this fix will work for every CC tattoo that has the issue shown below. I can't tell if this fix will work for CC that isn't a tattoo, but causes the same problem. I'm giving a solution that worked for me.

I saw another person with this problem, so I decided it would be a good idea to share the solution I found to (hopefully) fix it.

What happened?

A CC tattoo made my Sim look like cheese cheetos. Basically everything changed to skintone colour. 💀

Fortunately I've found the culprit pretty quickly - CC tattoo! And, luckily, I also found out how to resolve it~

Now, don't worry, the fix is easier to apply than I thought. Yay! You can find the instructions UNDER THE CUT! 💚

All you have to do is:

Make sure your package isn't merged. If it is, un-merge it with Sims 4 Studio

Open the broken CC in Sims 4 Studio through "My Projects"

Head over to "Warehouse"

Make sure the “Data” tab is selected and displayed on the right side

Click “CAS Part” in the list on the left and search for “SpecularMap” in the list on the right

Change the "Instance" to 0000000000000000

Repeat step 5 and 6 for EVERY CAS PART

Save the package

See in-game if your CC is working!

That's it! I hope you don't encounter this problem, and if you do, I hope this little fix will be helpful!
