decided to put on some Chopped while I did laundry and there was some beautiful editing just now where one competitor said she was going to wait until the very end to cook the protein and then immediately after they had a clip of another competitor saying "I put the protein in the pan right away so it can have as much time as possible to cook"

Oh, of The Great Food Truck Race?

Yeah I'm on the....*checks* 12th season, holy heck. But I watched the older seasons on the way to the more recent ones. And I've looked up some of the trucks from the older seasons and was happy to see them still kicking.

I'm very jealous of you getting to eat from them.

If I want to do so, I'll have to drive a bit of a ways, for sure. One of the downsides of being in Iowa...

okay I started watching The Great Food Truck Race again and I've progressed to a season where they're in Alaska

and they're doing a challenge that involves making s'mores over a campfire and someone needed a couple eggs

but the eggs were frozen completely solid from being outside in the Alaskan cold kjanjksldjnkjkfnasfd

btw the best premise for a food truck I have seen on The Great Food Truck Race thus far are the ladies who were like "what if we just sold food in the shape of a ball" and named their truck Tasty Balls

and they always get a group of people eating their food to shout "WE LOVE TASTY BALLS"

#the truck that was just serving food on a stick #and the drag queen Indian-Tex Mex fusion one #are also up there in my own personal opinion #but nah the ball truck is the best one #(and according to Wikipedia they win the season so that makes me happy #so rarely do the trucks I like win.....)#speechie watches foodie shows #speecher speaks
