hey guys! im lina! im 18 and im in the cst timezone. im currently a freshman in college and ive also been rping for like 6 years now ( i started on the neopets chat boards. if thats not an embarrassing fun fact idk what is ) but i havent rped since this summer since school was and still is kicking my ass. im really into musical theater, marvel & dc, and disney! i also used to be a lifeguard at a great wolf lodge for 2 years so if u want any funny stories about stupid children, or even just wanna be friends, lmk! im also SUPER sorry this intro is so late. i was gonna do it yesterday but then my friends wanted to hang and it kinda went downhill from there. im actually posting this like 20 min before i have a lab practical so i wont be able to reply until late tonight, but like this post to plot or anything!

some fun facts abt elijah:

he was adopted when he was around 3-4? he was abandoned and left on the back of a merchant cart headed to corona, where he was then discovered and then put into the local orphanage since no one was sure where he came from or who left him. all he had was a stuffed bear (named wooly), a basket of water and fruits to eat, and a letter that explained that:

his name was elijah

he was 2 (born on february 28th)

his parents couldnt care for him, so they hoped he would be found by a kind soul who could either take care of and love him, or else get him to someone who could

they loved him and only left him in the hopes that he would have a better life

he lived in the orphanage for almost 2 years and the few months before the 2nd anniversary of his arrival, rapunzel & eugene visited the orphanage that eugene grew up in and fell in love w/ eli, promptly adopting him soon after. he barely remembers anything about his abandonment and time in the orphanage, but always wanted to find his birth parents and let them know how he turned out. he kept the bear and basket in his room but carries the letter around with him in his wallet wherever he goes.

his full name is elijah frederic fitzherbert. he was given the middle name frederic in honor of his grandfather.

but, he much rather prefers eli. doesnt mind formalities but insists on people who know him to call him by his nickname. except he HATES being called “highness” bc he thinks it sounds stupid. he wont get upset per se if u keep referring to him as “your highness” but he will get annoyed

he very much wants to fulfill his role as “corona’s golden boy” by contributing back to his people. he worries for the kingdom more than he worries for himself and is always trying to prove that he is worthy of being a prince rather than just some random kid who got lucky enough to get adopted. most of his days are spent doing modest favors and helping out the townspeople or visiting the villages surrounding the kingdom.

when he’s in the castle you can almost always find him in the kitchen! boi loves to bake and cook. he loves the way food can bring joy to everyone. he often makes goods to give to the townspeople or the kids at the orphanage, where he volunteers at least every 2 weeks when hes not busy w prince stuff.

has an acute fear of disappointment. he feels so much pressure to prove his worth that came from growing up thinking if he did anything wrong he’d be sent back to orphanage, esp since his parents had another child. they wouldn’t want or need him anymore. he mostly got over this when he broke a vase when he was 12 and tried to run away from home, except he fell out the tree that he used to climb out his window and broke his leg lmao. his parents assured him that no matter what he did they would still love him and never abandon him, and his dad also taught him how to climb trees and roofs without dying (much to his mom’s chagrin). even tho hes pretty much over it, it kinda lingers subconsciously. thus, he overcompensates in everything he does and gets overly anxious about small problems

growing up he thought the stories that his dad told him about his past were so cool, despite the fact that he would almost always only hear those stories when he was being taught lessons of what he shouldnt do. he used to run around pretending to be flynn rider and his dad played along, planning play heists for them to do together (think scott & cassie in that one scene from ant man and the wasp) but they stopped when eli hit that age where he thought it was embarrassing to play w his dad. but, it really helped him bond w eugene and help him work on his coordination bc eli is CLUMSY AF

eli legit trips over nothing at least twice a day.

he bonded w his mom through art tho, which eventually turned into aesthetic desserts and meals! thats another reason why he loves baking and cooking so much.

when his 1st sibling was born when he was 5 at first he was jealous. he didnt get much attention at the orphanage due to the fact that there were so many kids and he was just starting to get used to the idea of having parents didnt have tons of kids always trying to win their affection and attention. he thought having a little sibling was the worst thing in the world and would hide from his parents bc if they couldnt find him they couldnt send him away. he hated his sibling.

until he met them. the second he saw their chubby face he was hooked. he swore that he would do anything and everything for them. and that continued when his parents adopted his other siblings as well. he absolutely adores them and acts like the protective older bro role

thankfully, with such a large age gap eli never rlly had to go through any of those petty squabbles that siblings usually have. he was always pretty protective of them tho and would fight when he thought they were being reckless and dumb out of his own fear that if they got hurt he would be an awful big brother (again, fear of disappointment)

he loves to travel bc his mom would always take him to these extravagant kingdoms and on these amazing sightseeing trips

this boy is hopeless when it comes to love. i can imagine lots of ppl liking him on top of all the ppl throwing themselves at him bc royal, but him being completely oblivious and thinking that no one likes him.

he had rlly bad ADD as a kid but its gotten better as hes grown. he still occasionally struggles w executive functioning tho and always gets rlly frustrated when he cant focus or remember

like i said earlier, clumsy af. no coordination. the only athletic ability he ever had was horse riding and running

EDIT: although (currently) unknown to eli, his true birth mother is maleficent. when eli was 2, his birth father took him away from her and had her suppress eli’s natural born powers. his father realized he was unfit to care for him, so he was the one who abandoned eli.

- like her mother, cade livesss to be the center of attention and start up trouble. she gets bored easily so she usually finds entertainment in toying with people if there’s nothing else to do.

- contrary to what people may think about her, cade likes to get a little down and dirty sometimes. sometimes. while she does love fashion and the finer things in life, she can be a little bit tomboyish when she’s in the mood.

- cade’s got a tough exterior. that’s what happens when you’re mother is one of the most judgmental people on earth. the truth is, inside she’s always insecure about herself even though she would never let anyone believe that. 

- as a friend, cade is fierce. if you somehow manage to breakthrough her walls and get her to care about you, she’ll fight anyone to protect you. that being said, as an enemy cade is a living nightmare and a raging bitch. be careful though, she is very black and white and is quick to make decisions about people-- just like her mother. 

- cade is shameless and is always down for a good time. 

-  she is very passionate about music and fashion. she’s even fairly good at playing a few different instruments. she also loves to sing, although she’s not the best at it.

- love is difficult for her and she does not spread it often. because of her mom, cade grew up very independent when it came to relationships. Drizella taught her that she doesn’t need prince charming to sweep her off her feet because one never came for her. because of that, cade has never been in love or had a serious relationship with a guy, only casual hookups. but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t secretly dream of prince charming.

About

Being the daughter of Ariel and Eric, it was near impossible for Viola to not inherit her infatuation with the sea in all it’s vast destructive glory. Much like the waters she’s grown up loving and living in she has an insatiable thirst, a wanderlust of sorts for what maybe she hasn’t even figured out yet. Viola can never sit still, her moods come and go in waves and being bored is never an option. If there is nothing going on around her, she herself will go looking for the trouble. And it’s never very hard for the young woman to find plenty of it.

With an older brother she believes is far better suited for the responsibilities that come with their titles, Vi has always focused more on satisfying her need for a constant rush of adrenaline. Behind her nonchalant self indulgent exterior she lives in state of self doubt and fear that her story will never be as great as her parents, that she’ll have no legacy to pass on to her own children one day. That is if she can ever even manage to have what her parents have to get to that point in life where she’s ready to have children. Because how can you love the sea and not inherit the depths of it’s emptiness, and unknowing.

literally. the opposite of agathe. which, i mean, is kind of the point with all of this.

violet grew up with a dad who exemplified non-toxic masculinity and a mom who was very supportive of being in touch with your feelings. so violet became a little flower child and spent her life in adoration and exploration. the middle child, it was easy for violet to feel like she was on her own, but she kind of liked it that way.

as a princess, she liked finding little nooks and crannies in the castle to get lost in, and would often start games of hide and seek with her siblings that she would win by default because they’d give up after an hour or so. the doors to the castle were never shut, and the little princess would often run into arendelle to visit with the subjects and immerse herself in the culture.

as it is extremely important to her, violet speaks several languages fluently, and is learning more. she speaks english, danish, swedish, norwegian, german, french, italian, spanish, and latin fluently. she can speak japanese, mandarin, and portugese conversationally. languages are kind of her thing.

violet believes in love. she’s waiting for her big thunderbolt moment, and she’s sure it’s going to come any day now.

most days, violet can be seen with a book or talking to strangers and prodding them for their stories.

the nitty and the gritty: in her intimate preferences, violet is demisexual and demiromantic. gender doesn’t matter to her, but connection is critical. she hasn’t had that yet. in fact, violet has yet to experience her first kiss. she’s fun, she’s sweet, but she’s very, very gullible. if someone says something to her, she’ll take it at face value.

( gregg sulkin, cismale, he/him  ) have you seen CALEB HUNT in the castle? they are 24 years old is the child of THE HUNTSMAN, and i heard they’re pretty COURAGEOUS, but can also be a little COCKY. wonder how they feel about being trapped here.

Caleb is the son of the Huntsman of Snow White fame, and he grew up on the edge of the dark forest, learning how to eke out a living on the land like his parents. He’s never really had a charmed life, but he knows how to take care of himself and having ventured into the dark forest many times, he doesn’t scare easily. Caleb is extremely sure of himself, to the point of arrogance, and he doesn’t think there’s very much he can’t do. He’s a very skilled hunter and can hold his own in a fight, and he doesn’t take shit from anyone. He may not be royalty, but anyone who thinks they can talk to him because they are is in for a shock. His mouth can often get him into a lot of trouble, but he bears the consequences for the things he’s done proudly. Caleb came to the castle not to join the party, but to join the hunting party that was supposed to supply the party with meat. When they got trapped, he was surprised to find himself stuck here, and he’s pretty antsy to get out.

I’m using more of a Snow White & the Huntsman version of events, where after not-killing Snow White when he was supposed to, the Huntsman also helped her to take the kingdom back from the Evil Queen. 

He’s something of a restless soul, and hates to sit still. The idea of settling down is definitely not on his mind, but he’s had a lot of casual relationships. He’s open to dating and hook ups, but he’s not necessarily searching for the one. Might be fun if something serious snuck up on him though!

Caleb is pretty competitive, especially when it comes to royals, he’s definitely got a chip on his shoulder where he wants to prove he’s every bit as capable --if not moreso-- as the royals.

He can be stubborn and pig-headed, trusting his gut above all else. He follows his instincts, and once he’s made up his mind about someone, it can be hard to change his mind.

He definitely enjoys a good party and a drink, even though he also knows how to work hard. Probably the best way to get him to loosen up is with a beer in his hand.

A friend he’s known since childhood, someone who can call him out when he’s being too pig-headed and who can playfully put him in his place without making him feel like an idiot. 

An ex who things went real bad with, and now that they’re stuck in the same building, they may have to confront unresolved feelings.

His mother? His father is the Huntsman, but Caleb doesn’t know who his mother is. I was thinking it might be fun if it were the Evil Queen, or someone else nefarious, but I’m open to others if there are ideas!

Meet Faye, daughter of the Enchantress of Beauty & the Beast fame, a young witch trying to follow in her mother’s footsteps but mostly learning as she goes. She isn’t a malicious person, but neither is she very concerned with being nice. Like her mother, she likes to test people, and should they feel, she’ll find a way to teach them a little lesson. Of course, Faye is not nearly as powerful as her mother, so her lessons tend to be more along the lines of nuisances and pranks than life-altering curses. She delights in causing mischief for those hapless souls that she deems worthy of her attention, but being stuck in the same place as her victims is a new experience for her, and may get her into more trouble than she’s used to. Faye doesn’t advertise who her mother is, or what it is she can do. She hides in plain sight, often in the guise of a servant or a peasant, to get close to those in power, that she might test them unseen. 

Since she’s not as powerful as her mother, she can’t change her appearance completely for her disguises, but she can change minor things, like her hair and her eyes. Other than that, she wears disguises to hide who she is. If she can’t conjure something she needs, she’s not adverse to stealing it.

Growing up on the move, she’s never really had a chance to make any close friends or get attached to anyone. She feels very independent, but she’s always hiding her loneliness and desire to fit in.

Faye always tests someone before she punishes them; if they pass the test, she doesn’t do anything to them. But if they fail, she does something to them. 

Her punishments are mild compared to her mother’s, but can still be a nuisance. I’ll always plot out any punishments with the mun in advance of having Faye do anything to your character, so no worries about her doing something you don’t want!

Her morality is... skewed, at best. While the lessons she teaches are valuable, many would argue the method is far too harsh, but Faye isn’t overly concerned by that. She doesn’t really care about right and wrong, she’s a creature of mischief more than morality.

well hello there my lovely fellow writers! tis i eden and after playing a few other choice disney villain pieces it does seem like my dear gaston will the first out of the gate when it comes to introductions. we’re not about to flip the entire script but we’re about to make it all that much more. to be honest I’m incredibly excited to play this classic disney villain ( with an eden twist ) and what happened after he fell off into darkness and didn’t actually die...   TW :  none  .

Let me take what we know about Gaston ( which his past is relatively unknown ) and throw it on its head adding a little more depth and explanation to his overall characterization. Simply put let's make him a little more human - a reason why he is the way he is. While Gaston gladly assumes France as his home country and as his identity, the chauvinistic Frenchman is in truth not french at all. He wasn’t born in France, nor was he raised there entirely either. In reality, Gaston was born in a french colonial settlement based on Pondicherry in India.

Bonus Fact !! beauty and the beast is set technically in the 17th century if you look at the concept art, the costuming and the sets. the original tale was even published around this time. The French were in Pondicherry as early as the late 1600′s ( 1674 to be exact ). Albeit going back and forth from French to English control in 1742 to 1763 it remained part of French India until 1954. As this is a fairytale setting actual history is mildly fudged about this still makes perfect sense that not every character in Beauty and the Beast had to be white especially since our Belle is the most perfect and awe-inspiring goddess Fahriye Evcen ( the French and Turkish peoples have enjoyed a friendly albeit complex relationship since the 16th century - also if you go by the 2017 version plague came to France in 1740 so all facts but we’re not going by the actual dates they’re actually set  ). Anywho tidbit over )

Gaston was adopted ( GASP ) by a french merchant family who quite obviously gave him his very, very french name. They were influential people who while not rich enjoyed a decent fortune and had very large personalities ( another reason Gaston’s always been so extra and why no one says no to Gaston. ) Belle wasn’t the only one to have an issue in that poor provincial town if they thought she was odd for reading and having ideas.. a brown child in the middle of that town .... yep. Great steps were taken by himself to really stand out for the right reasons and have people see past that. ( not saying we should feel sorry for him because a lot of his own problems are created by himself. to it makes his prejudicial and narrow-minded ideas that much more sad because he should’ve been an overall more understanding character if he went through all that. it also adds a bit more realism to him why he doubted the existence of magic and dismissed Maurice's concern as the ravings of a mad man believing in only very practical things like wolves eating you, frostbite and starvation #survivalist nature ). He was scrawny and being the adopted son of a very thoroughly french family did a lot to get large and be a man no one could push around. Gaston became a man’s man - very athletic, outdoorsy and skilled in what most small-minded people consider a man. 

In the mission to be everyone’s favorite guy - that perfect paragon of manhood - Gaston became all the things we’ve loved to absolutely hate him for. In his late youth, he joined the army, went to war and really excelled there amid all the death and destruction proving his worth to the world. Coming back home he became the deceptively good looking rotten to the core town ‘hero’ and all-around favorite and most massively talented huntsman of that area.

Now let's insert all we know into the story - he tries and fails to court Belle dignity and intelligence are so attractive but Gaston’s block-headed held to the archaic beliefs he had of women should be. After a few horrible mistakes like trying to have her father committed, having the if I can’t have her no one can let's kill the beast attitude and then killing him well... our dude fell off into a deep ravine.

Surprisingly he did not die!! Just got very broke - in medical care for several months plotting his revenge against Adam and Belle. No one makes a fool of him and lives to talk about it. However, revenge plots change and adapt as Gaston threw himself into the arms of several women and even after all of this they throw themselves at him ( give me the bimbettes as mothers to some of his girls! ). The quest became to have a hoard of boys to prove he could still live out his dream of what life would’ve been like. In some great grand twist of fate as the ultimate revenge no matter how many women Gaston ‘loved’ none of the children that resulted were ever boys but good god much to his everlasting dismay ever last one of them were girls.

Cursed with girls and being a single father because there aren’t any women like Belle ( still carrying that torch ) never married any of their mothers nor made it a secret he never loved any of them ( the mothers, not the daughters because I’m not that evil - yet ). He has always consistently struggled to raise them with his old ideas of how girls and women should be and act. Yet as much as Gaston hated having daughters, hates giving them ideas and typical Gastonian things and has had a tendency to make them feel they’re not as important to him as they could be because they aren’t the boys he wanted.... God the man flipping loves them and that shows through in his complete overbearing over protectiveness. [[ Insert Mother Knows Best from Rapunzel with an equal mixture of Stay With Me from Into the Woods ( with it being father knows best and minus the parts about being ugly cause he’d never call himself ugly  ) ]]. Simply summed up he’s tried and failed at being a great parent, kind of sucks at it and while excessively proud of himself and overly vain loves them in his own way. Gaston himself has never really known how to show actual love to anyone and has quite a bit of personal growth to go through. That and he could stand to get his ass kicked a few more times... His six girls give him all the grief. They are the reasons for his grey hair reading books without pictures in them being women with ideas...

Now we arrive at our current moment and despite how it may seem Gaston hasn’t given up on ruining the lives of Adam and Belle. It remains a mystery how he actually got into the party but where there is a will there is a way and Gaston is just determined enough he found a way. Alas having not been entirely included in on the plan for whatever this is he’s feeling even saltier then our heroes and their children are. Why? Because no one told him the master plan and now he’s stuck here with his most hated enemies and his girls trapped. Really and truthfully he’s not about to help the good guys fully intending to be anything but helpful to their cause. Gaston’s not about to be entirely helpful to the evil side either - he’s simply going along with whatever the villains may be doing because he is one and its another way to fuck with Adam’s life and gain the upper hand in a fight he won’t win. ( too he is mildly concerned about ‘ideas’ and goodness rubbing off on the girls ). He’s not toned down in his own personal villainy it only has a different edge to it now.

Charlie was adopted when they were six. Prior to that they lived in an orphanage on the outskirts of Corona.

When their parents and siblings were busy they ran around the castle on their own and asked anyone they came across if they wanted to play. They befriended a lot of staff members and even some of their kids (who had to tag along with their parents when they went to work for whatever reason) this way.

In their teens Charlie started venturing outside of the castle to explore Corona. They didn’t exactly have permission, but it never required sneaking.They just got a few lectures about safety in the early days and when they came home after it was dark out.

The youngest of four kids Charlie will likely never inherit the throne, and they’re happy that way. They know being the youngest afforded them a lot of freedom and probably saved them from a lot of stress.

They’re kind, trusting, and sees the best in everyone. People have taken advantage of this since their orphanage days, but they refuse to let those people change them. They don’t understand that becoming a little more guarded would be good for them.

Charlie loves meeting new people, and tries to befriend everyone. When people don’t like them they get really uncomfortable, and they’re guilty of overcompensating to try and win someone over.

Bad with conflict. They try to avoid starting it, but if they think someone is criticizing them they get defensive real quick. Also the type of person to cry during arguments (they’ll ignore it and try to argue through it if you comment on it they just get more upset).

Wholeheartedly believes in wishing on stars, true love, and all that cheesy fairytale stuff.

Their official title is Prince Charlie of Corona. They’re fine with it when they need to be addressed by their title, but they’re not big on formality and ask everyone to call them Charlie.

They have a pet horse named Freckles.

Hi there, I’m Chelsea and I’m twenty-six years old. Uh, I’m not sure what all to say about myself except I have blue hair which is pretty cool (and also a pain because cold showers on hair wash day. do not recommend) and I’m a barista which has seriously added to my coffee addiction severely. The Life of Princess Lumi Isolde Dietrich

Lumi is the middle child of Snow White and Prince Florian. 

She does care for her family with her entire being but has spent most of her life trying to figure out exactly who she is.

For unknown reasons to her, Lumi was often not allowed to venture out by herself. She always assumed it was a slight fear on her mother’s part for what had happened to her when she was young. Lumi never asked though, not wanting to bring up bad memories if that was the reasoning.

It has caused her to become resentful of the royal life and led her to small acts of rebellion (sneaking out, lashing out, etc.)

Which was exactly what led her to being stuck in the castle. After the invite was received Lumi took it upon herself to go off on her own and not wait for her parents.

The Spitfire of a Princess

Lumi is a rather outgoing girl and likes to give people the benefit of the doubt.

She does, however, have a pretty keen ability of reading how people really are. 

Caused by her upbringing, although loving, Lumi is rather resentful of the life of royalty. She hates when people think of her a certain way just because she’s a princess and she will let you know all about it.

She is a playful person and finds teasing people her favorite way to connect. If she’s joking with you she’s amused in your company.

Art has always been her escape from reality, something that is just her own. There’s rarely a time in a casual setting that you can find her without a pencil behind her ear or paint on her clothes.

Friends: Perhaps a few close friends she’s met while travelling with her parents? I would like her to have that one friend that gets dragged into her schemes and probably finds her exasperating. I feel like there’s a lot of room for plotting purposes here.

Enemies: Lumi is the type that once she’s been scorned she’s likely not to be a huge fan of you. She’s a pretty stubborn person and can hold a pretty mean grudge. There’s no room for quiet fuming with her because once she’s done with you she’ll let you know all about it.

Romance: Lumi has dated around rather casually with a few people but has always kept herself pretty well closed off. At one point she did fall in love with someone but the second that happened she retreated into herself.

First and foremost, never call him Maxwell. Well, call him Maxwell if you’re trying to push his buttons. Otherwise, just stick to Max. Oh, and he’d really rather you didn’t refer to him as ‘Prince’ either. If you ask him, all those fancy titles are for sticks in the mud.

The pressure of being a prince has never really suited Max. He doesn’t think he’s all that great with responsibility and would much rather spend his days doing whatever it is he wants to do at that given moment.

He’s come to be known as a bit (or more than a bit) of a troublemaker. He doesn’t mind getting in trouble for the sake of a good time and he’s pulled more than a few pranks on unsuspecting folk. He isn’t afraid of the repercussions either. He might not like what someone says when he gets caught doing something he shouldn’t, but that doesn’t scare him away from doing something similar in the future.

But not all his pranks and games are played on the undeserving. Max has a habit of bringing justice upon those who do him and his loved ones wrong. If you mess with him, you might find yourself on the receiving end of some home made justice.

If someone does something he disagrees with or tries to get him to do something he isn’t a fan of (whether it be a big deal or something small and unimportant), he’ll tell you exactly what he’s thinking.

Much to the chagrin of those who raised him or want him to take his possible future responsibilities more seriously, Max is a partier. He’s always the first to suggest a rowdy get together, grabbing drinks, or just simply letting loose.

Once you get to be his friend, Max is pretty damn loyal. He won’t let anyone get away with hurting or even offending the people he cares about. Max is very open to making new friends and connections, but is admittedly wary of other royals. He just doesn’t want anymore reminders that there are better things he could be doing with his time than gallivanting about.

As for relationships, Max has never been known to stay with one woman for very long, but that isn’t because he’s trying to be a player. Really, he loves the idea of true love. The problem is that he thinks it should be as easy to tell and that he should just know the minute he meets the right woman - just like his parents knew the day they met one another. Until that happens, or he realizes he has strong feelings for someone that didn’t develop immediately, he’s stuck in the habit of dating around.

Unsurprisingly, Max was eager to attend Princess Viola’s birthday party. A big gathering, festivities that were set to last for days and days, and a chance to cause some mild trouble? He practically set out for the island castle the minute he received the invitation. However, he will not be thrilled about being trapped. Sure, he’s away from his life back home, but Max loves his freedom.

A very, very best friend: I would really love a good bromance, but obviously, this is open for other genders as well! Max has a lot of friends and likely a group of people he hangs around with most, but I would love for him to have one solid friend that he's had for most of his life. Maybe they're unlikely friends. Maybe they're super likely friends. Maybe they disapprove of Max's behavior, maybe they're right by his side. Either way, this is the person that he has confided in the most for the longest amount of time, and vice versa!

Exes: Max is heterosexual, so his exes will all have been women. Honestly, Max is in love with the idea of true love and great romance. He breaks up with women when he doesn't feel a spark quickly enough. Usually, I think he's amicable about it, but that doesn't mean there haven't been bad break ups/experiences or angsty situations. He's not likely to officially get back together with someone he's already broken up with, but they could have hooked up after breaking up!

Born and raised in Paris, Belle’s upbringing was different from other woman of the time as her parents both highly valued education and creativity, and both make sure to teach their two daughters to hold the same values. Her father an inventor and her mother a librarian, they had a quite life but one filled with warmth and the freedom for her to explore who she was and who she wanted to be in the world. Darkness fell upon them when the plague hit claiming the health of her mother and sister. Her mother made her father promise to take Belle far away from the sickness, leaving them to their fate.

That was exactly what her father did, that was how they started a life in Villeneuve the "poor provincial town." As the days trudged along the more her spirits dampened despite her most sincere efforts to stay true to herself. She and her father stuck out sorely in the small town, her father often the butt of the joke among the townees, and her mannerisms always seen as odd. She was as Gaston called her a “thinking woman” and a rarity in those parts indeed. Literature was her only savior in this period of her life when all hope seemed to grow bleak. Her books and later the misfortune that would change everything, the adventure of a lifetime that she’d been looking for all along.

Everyone knows how the story goes, it wasn’t love at first sight, it didn’t start with a kiss of life, or a tender dance, no it was filled with angst and heartache, uncertainty and fear. But a love that has only grown with time, hearts growing fonder with each day. They are equals, they understand one another, they fight, they make up, they have made a home for themselves filled with people that love and support them, they have two beautiful children, everything they could possibly need.

Belle had always wanted more from her life then to be a simple housewife, living in a comfortable cottage, with a handsome but brutish man and their six to seven kids. so let me tell you about arion. your airplane view: very pure soul with a lot of responsibility on his shoulders and no clue what to do with it.

arion is the first child of the blue fairy (the other is a baby, but we’ll get there). his mother had been alive for... god knows how long, and she always wanted a child. when it happened, arion became her treasure. he doesn’t know who his father is, but that’s never mattered to him. his mother raised him with love and compassion.

anything your heart desires will come to you.

it’s a beautiful theory, but it’s terrifying in action. as a fairy himself, arion inherited his mother’s ability to make anyone’s truest desires come true. but, with arion, there was a bit of a catch. or rather... a genetic faux pas. arion didn’t really have his mother’s control.

makes you difference who you are was right. each star in the sky, representing a fairy in his lineage, could grant wishes to those who wished on that very star. but each of the wishes came with a lesson, requiring a moral compass, or at the very least, a cricket’s conscious. for arion, though? it didn’t matter who made a wish... it was granted.

he couldn’t help it. he tried. god, did he try. but it was like a force unlike anything he’d expected. a curse, he felt, though he couldn’t prove it. when mother found out, she tried to protect him. she kept him relatively locked away and tried to help him control his power, but to no avail. she decided that he should be raised as a human, his star dimmed, so no one could use his power for their own selfish interest.

mother also clipped his wings; he now has scars running along his shoulder blades where his wings were painfully excised. he doesn’t blame her for this, or even hate her. he knew then, and knows now, that it had to be this way.

beginning in his childhood years, arion was raised by a mortal man and woman who wanted a child while his mother watched from afar. she visited him frequently, still rocked him to sleep some nights, but she became more of a mythological character for him than anything else. despite being one of the more powerful beings in the kingdoms, arion was raised as a peasant, in relative obscurity.

occasionally, someone would still find his star, make a wish, and he would feel faint as his power was borrowed. he always feared what that wish had been, sometimes trying to seek out the wisher, other times, finding it better not to know.

recently, arion found out that his mother, the blue fairy, gave birth to another child, a little girl. he can’t help but feel this is an attempt to replace him, though he certainly understands. he means to protect her at all costs, if only through monitoring her star, which grows in strength every day.

so how does he feel about this spell? well, he’s terrified. he’s terrified that this was his fault somehow. he’s terrified that some evil found his star, wished on it, and now the kingdom will never be the same again. he was attending the party with his adopted mother and father, where he helped to cook and serve the feast. he isn’t sure if the sudden weakness he felt was a result of his magic being used, or if it was simply a result of the magical influence.

in his personal life, arion can be relatively quiet. he does his best to balance the line between obscurity and so obscure that it arouses suspicion. he has a few dear friends that he has made throughout the years, but for the most part, he has kept to himself.

no one, and i mean no one, knows about his lineage. arion has been extremely careful about that throughout the years, knowing that it could lead to disaster, if not death and destruction.

still, arion has had a few relationships throughout his life. although he doesn’t ascribe to one particular sexuality, most of his lovers and relationships have been with women. that said, he has never made love to anyone with his shirt completely removed; there is always something covering his back so that his scars are not visible, even if it’s just a vest. when arion has sex, it’s to feel close to someone, temporarily. someone who will enjoy his company, not because of what he can give them, but because they like him and want him. but arion is afraid of settling down, because that would mean that he would have to be honest about his lineage, and he’s not ready for the can of worms that could open.

eventually, i’d like for arion to fall in love, deeply in love, and be forced to confront his identity. however, when it comes to romantic plots, i’m not much of a plotter, and i generally go by chemistry and interaction, so please just keep that in mind. so if you want that plot and come to me about it and i default to let’s see what happens, please don’t take offense. it’s just how i roll with mah bebes.

but past lovers are open! i’d also love for someone who wished on his star, maybe a few for good, or a few for their own self-serving purposes (though it may not even be evil, per se). arion would inexplicably hate the latter, which could be fun to play out, as he wouldn’t be able to share.

hi, i’m tara, and i’m super happy to join this sweet-lookin’ rp. 

so, a little about felix, who is a character new to me but whom i already love after having written this intro ??? oops. 

his dad is the mad hatter, and he has no idea who his mother might be. in fact, he’s often wondered if he wasn’t simply adopted, but his dad has never given him a straight answer. so is felix’s eccentricity a product of nature or nurture? who knows. 

felix is fundamentally optimistic, extroverted, and spontaneous. he grew up with very little supervision and very few restrictions, so he is used to doing what he wants and not having to explain himself (though he’s immensely fond of his father, his dad was often distracted with other people, events, tea, et cetera). felix is not a big fan of authority figures in general, either, just because of the previous queen of hearts situation back in wonderland. 

he’s flighty and forgetful, and he pays almost no attention to things that do not directly relate to him. so he’s oblivious of major fairy-tale events, for the most part. 

in general, he’s a bit unpredictable when it comes to reacting to others. he can be either incredibly accepting or instantly judgmental. he gives literally zero fucks about what anyone thinks of him, except for sometimes when he cares way too much. he may keep a grudge for a hundred years, or he might get over a perceived slight within two minutes. (it’s always 0 mph or 100 mph, no in between. and you would think that this whiplash way of living would exhaust him, but it does not.)

felix is also ridiculously directionless; very much live-in-the-moment and not worry-about-the-future. he’s the physical embodiment of an enneagram type 7, right down to the absolute hatred for talking about his feelings. (he will do anything to avoid talking about his feelings.)

 it's sometimes as though he has no real conception that consequences exist as a result of one’s actions, because realizing this seems to surprise him every time. so this can make him seem callous, sometimes, because he doesn’t often consider other people first-- it’s not an intentional cruelty, though. he’s just oblivious and immensely dense. peak dumbass energy. 

finally, felix loves sticking his nose in literally everyone’s business, whether it belongs there or not, so please hit me up for all sorts of plots :’)

First, Damien does not offer up the information of who his mother is. However, if confronted, he will admit it. He isn’t ashamed of her or their family at all. In fact, he’s very proud of where he comes from. He’s simply well aware that a great number of people will write him off completely once they know of his parentage.

While this sort of ‘he’s the son of some evil, so he must not be great either’ attitude might be false in regards to some, it’s pretty accurate in Damien’s case.

He does possess magic. It’s not nearly as advanced or powerful as his mothers, but it gets the job done.

Like his mother, Damien uses his powers to entice (usually desperate) people into making deals with him. He offers to “help” them in return for something. Sometimes it’s a physical object, sometimes it’s a favor, and sometimes it’s something more sinister.

Also like his mother, he isn’t afraid of intervening to purposefully make it impossible for someone to hold up their end of the bargain or pay him. Of course, this is for his own benefit, so he can collect more from them or gain something in the process.

He knows that his dealings aren’t moral or right. He just doesn’t care. It’s a creature eat creature world out there, and he wants to come out on top.

He isn’t the type to take part in silly pranks or dumb schemes. His plans take time and effort. They usually involve many moving parts and some patience. He isn’t afraid to involve other people in his plans, as long as they aren’t impatient or dim about it.

In that same vein, he doesn’t usually resort to physical violence unless absolutely forced into it. He’d much rather use his magic and his brains.

He doesn’t discriminate against royals v. non-royals or other villain-y kids. If he thinks he can get something useful from you, he’ll keep a close eye on the situation.

If you confront him about what he’s doing, Damien will admit to it. The only snafu is that he’s also likely to point out that people usually agree to his terms. (Of course, this doesn’t take into account all the behind the scenes meddling he does...or the persuasive nature he takes on when people are waffling about accepting those terms.)

Despite his calculating nature, Damien isn’t very closed off in terms of friends and other relationships. Truthfully, he might keep an eye on someone for a while to see if they have something to offer him, but if they make it past the first few months without him sensing a weakness he can (and wants) to exploit, he usually lets it go and just tries to have a normal one on one with them.

Because he doesn’t really care about parentage or anything like that, he’s just as likely to hang around the heroes as he is the villains.

On being trapped: Damien knew about the plan to sabotage the party, and he had intended to make a few deals, then slip back into the water before the curse was set upon the island. Unfortunately, he got a bit carried away and missed the deadline. He hates that he’s stuck, but he plans to make the best of it....by swindling as many desperate people as possible.

Past Deals/Future Deals: I’d love to have a person or two Damien has made a deal with. Whether it was unsuccessful, successful, a terrible disaster, or even a situation where it didn’t really work out for either of them can totally be plotted. Not everything has to be boxed up in a neat little package, and I’m super down for angst and drama. I’d also love for some potential future dealings! Of course, nothing will happen without your consent, but it’d be cool to have a few people Damien is keeping an eye on and trying to shake down for weaknesses/things to exploit. 

Actual friends: Damien’s circle is probably fairly small due to who he is and what he does, but I’d still love for him to have a few good friends that he isn’t trying to scheme. How they came to be friends can be funny, angsty, whatever!

Hook ups/Exes: Damien doesn’t have much time for ‘love’, and to be quiet honest, he thinks it makes fools of most people. He stays away from serious relationships for the most part. He mostly engages in casual hook ups or flings and breaks things off when he starts getting too attached. (Note: Damien is heterosexual.) That being said, there’s room for a serious ex or two. Someone he might have broken up with because he was growing too close to them. Someone who broke up with him when they found out what he does/who his family is. There’s also the chance for something in the future - maybe someone he’s trying to swindle, only to accidentally develop feelings for in the process.

Rivals: I mean, this is a small world, so there are surely some people vying for the same targets Damien is. I’m totally up for a...villainy rivalry xD

Enemies: This one is pretty self-explanatory. There are bound to be people who don’t like him. People who know who is, or don’t. Someone who is aware he gate crashed the party and might be suspicious of him. I’m down to brainstorm!

mei can be very uptight, she cares a lot about how others view her and strives to maintain her perfect image. she is basically the girl mulan wanted to be to please her family. feminine and demure. however it’s mostly just on the surface

she is always put together, never drunk in public, always keeps her legs crossed at the ankle, etc

a perfectionist, chaos makes her intensely anxious, even when it’s of her own doing

her room is immaculate, she speaks several different languages (mandarin chinese, cantonese, english, french), plays several instruments (piano, violin, flute), probably has cute handwriting, knows chinese folk dancing, can ride horses, swims, is known to do yoga. is that annoying person on instagram with the seemingly perfect life

why? she has an ambition to become a princess. her mother turned down the political role she could have had, however maintained her celebrity. mei has designs to become a monarch in her own right and get a taste of the power her mother denied

incredibly two-faced. she doesn’t like most people bc she’s a little self-absorbed and her standards are too high. definitely has pulled the regina george ‘your top is so cute omg’ thing.

mei is perfectly fine being trapped here, gives her more time to schmooze. she’s freaking out about the whole possible death thing, but less than you’d think

bisexual! she doesn’t care if youre a prince, princess, nonbinary sovereign, she wants power and fame and she wants it now

BACKGROUND: 

mei had a very loving and accepting family. mulan would never force a fate onto one of her children and shang has definitely learned from her

i’d imagine their family is also pretty close, her grandparents likely still live with them

because of her mother’s fame, she did have a minor spotlight on her that she developed into a following on social media

WANTED CONNECTIONS: 

shallow friends: they meet up when they’re in town, like and comment on each others posts online, but it’s all skin deep

close friends: i’d imagine mei’s close friends are still people she is two-faced with, they actually spend time together, maybe text and call/meet up often, but mei is selfish

best friend: someone mei fully trusts

ex-friends: someone mei has backstabbed or who has seen through her good girl facade 

enemies: of any and all kinds. someone who can clock a fake person when they see one. has witnessed her duplicitous nature. they sabotaged one another. etc.

past romance: if mei has dated someone it has been for publicity, someone who makes for good arm candy. her ultimate goal is still to score a royal. i could see her dating someone royal or highly connected despite not liking them much as well and them breaking up because of it.

hook-ups: mei is careful about her image, not likely to hook up with someone, but mistakes happen.

basic history;

juniper was adopted by zarina as a wee babe

she grew up learning about her mom’s talent, dust & specifically pixie dust alchemy, and was totally entranced by it

as a little girl, she liked to play around with the dust– with zarina’s supervision of course– and do small experiments herself 

now that she’s older, she goes back and forth between actually helping her mom with experiments and traveling around the world

personality;

she’s a vagabond (loves seeing new places and learning about new cultures) and hates being in one place for too long (except her home when she’s with her mom) so being trapped in the castle is pretty much her worst nightmare

she considers herself fairly adaptable though so she’s ~doing her best~

she’s pretty stubborn but she’s been trying not to let her emotions guide her judgements 

very close with her mom, considers her one of her closest friends
