Have i ever told y'all that i love playing with special effects. The actual magic effects used in the movies is usually nothing more than a couple sparkles but its a god damn fantasy world so im gonna make it as glowy as I want!
Mother Natures magic was supposed to end up more green to steer away from sandy’s territory and EB’s magic still needs a lot of work, but this gets the general ideas across i think
Also sorry for really stupid question but artist do get paid for the playing at festivals right?😭
So Louis would probably make some good money from the festivals this year
Yes!
They get paid depending on the contract. Louis would cover some costs of the setup (tour crew, special effects, pyro, equipment and instruments), and probably get paid a lump sum. He’ll get a premium for playing as the headliner.
AFHF is different because Louis is acting as the festival sponsor. He covers costs for the acts (who still have to bring their own instruments, SPFX etc.) and pays them for their performance. Louis gets to keep whatever is left of the revenue after all the costs, and he gets the bulk of the merch profits.
Earlier this year we completed 6 videos for @panicatthedisco filmed over the course of 9(.5) days. This was a massive undertaking for our crew and cast and this entire team knocked it out of the park. I will never get over the intricacy and care of every aspect. Thank you to everyone who made these happen❗️

I sculpted this piece right after filming Face Off Season 10. I was in a total funk when I got home after a grueling 9 weeks of filming, cut off from contact with the outside world, and (spoiler alert) not winning the competition after coming so close. My friend described me as “shell-shocked”.
This piece is the one that helped me find my way out of that headspace. It was an outlet for the all the creative impulses that I hadn’t been able to explore on the show. And it was proof to myself that I still had artistic value.
Not to discount my FaceOff experience, it was a creative bootcamp. Yes, it was intense, but I think the critiques and artistic camaraderie allowed me to level up at record speed. And I made friends for life.
Side note: this is one of the few latex masks that I’ve made. Not a huge fan of latex.
Also, I guess I’ve been shooting videos while wearing silly masks for a while 😂
Lamberto Bava’s Italian Horror Classics DEMONS and DEMONS 2 return in 4K UHD and remastered Blu-ray this August from Synapse Films!
Please Note: These are the Standard Editions releases for DEMONS 1 and 2 and do not feature any new material or restoration work from our 2021 releases.
They will make cemeteries their cathedrals and the cities will be your tombs… in 4K UHD and remastered Blu-ray!
“Perhaps no films better capture the essence of '80s Italian horror” - Nathaniel Thompson, Mondo-Digital.com
Regarded by horror fans the world over as two of the greatest Italian horror films ever made, Lamberto Bava’s Demons films are not only major cinematic nightmare fuel, but also hugely entertaining splatterfests of the highest order. Synapse’s 2013 Blu-rays and 2021 Limited Edition UHD remain two of their most popular releases, and now they’re bringing these favorites to Standard Edition 4K UHD and remastered Blu-ray in spectacular 4K restorations! These horrific splatter classics produced by Dario Argento (Suspiria) have never looked or sounded better and are packed with hours of special features, making this the ultimate home video release of these horror favorites.
In Demons, a masked man offers tickets to a horror movie sneak preview at the mysterious Metropol cinema. When a patron is scratched by a prop displayed in the theatre lobby, she transforms into a flesh-ripping demon! One by one, the audience members mutate into horrible creatures hell-bent on destroying the world! Can anyone escape this gory orgy of terror? In 1986’s ambitious sequel Demons 2, the apocalyptic terror continues! A televised horror film spells doom for the residents of a luxury high-rise apartment, as demons are unleashed through the TV screen at a young girl’s birthday party. As more and more residents are infected and transformed into blood-thirsty demons, a young couple fights to survive as they try to escape Hell on Earth.
