That voice sounds like Russet, almost - the few times his voice has been heard, but also distinctly different, the faint hint of something almost like a growl to it. A few beats of silence, and then there's the sound of a gun's safety being clicked off. There's several frantic bursts of static, presumably from Superconduct. "-Hey, bzzt!!! Don't pull a weapon on us, we're just trying to help, bzzt!!-" The Rotom protests. "What's a Terarium?! Is this some IPC bullshirt?!" Another few seconds of passing - it's likely that Russet is signing, and this stranger seems to understand that without Superconduct translating. The sound of a gun's safety being clicked back on, and some shuffling that is presumably the weapon being holstered. "... A school?? Oh. Well, um, sorry, I guess. I thought you were gonna attack me. ... Whaddya mean they ain't allowin' weapons here?? What am I supposed to defend myself with??" Another few silent beats pass. "What the fork is a Pokemon??? That some sorta Fragmentum Monster...? No...? Uh. Alright, maybe this planet's a bit weirder than some of the ones my mentor's taken me to... Huh? Oh, right! My name's Spitfire, I'm a Galaxy Ranger! It's nice to meet ya! What'd you say your name was...? Oh. Uh - nothin', nothin', don't worry about it! Just wasn't expecting to hear that name..." Audio Recording Ends.]

It's been a minute buuut I figured if I was on Rotomblr while Russet was supposed ta be stayin' away it might be a little worryin', not ta mention the temptation..." Spitfire chuckles. "Anyways, I have a team of little monsters of my own now! I've got Brushfire, she's a Fennekin - a little fire fox! She's quite the cutie, and she has my temper!" Spitfire laughs fondly. "Supposedly she might evolve soon. Dunno, though - kinda like her bein' this size. Eh, not really up ta me though, is it? Her body an' all. I've got Bullet, a Skarmory, so - a big ol' metal bird! He's a hunter, like me - one of my fiercer fighters, I've found! Then... Well, the last lil' one ain't exactly like me, but... Uh, his name's Arbor. He's a sweet thing an' I really didn't have the heart ta leave him. Not too big on fighting, but... Yeah, that's my team!" Spitfire hums, and there's the sound of fabric moving like he's shrugged. "Honestly, I still don't quite get why you don't fight yourselves, but... Eh. New planet, new culture. Plus, I guess short-lived species are more protective of their youth...? I think? So teaching kids to fight themselves is probably more frowned upon... But hey, I like what I do!" Audio Recording Ends]

[Audio Recording Uploaded: "... So, uh, parents, huh...?" Spitfire's voice is quiet. "... I still don't really get it. Like I said, Vidyadhara don't... have parents. I mean. Unless you count Long, the Aeon that created us a uh... really long time ago. Which. I don't think you count as a parent...? Maybe you do. Like I said, I really don't get it, but..." He sighs. "... I dunno. I've just had... like a lot of people mistake my mentor for an adoptive parent. And I mean - yeah, he takes care of me, and he's taught me a lot, but I'm like... His apprentice? I don't know. And he gets... odd, about being a parent. It makes him sad, I think. I don't really press him on it - I uh... well I'd be a fudgin' hypocrite if I tried to talk about ignoring your past. Ugh, what am I even doing this for? Just to talk?" Another sigh, slightly deeper. Good news! Spitfire has a team now!

"He seems to like Bullet! And our final buddy," Spitfire's voice softens, just slightly. "His name's Arbor." The video ends.]

My kind - uh, Vidyadhara, though I doubt anyone here knows what that is, uh... We don't have parents. But I had an... encounter, lately, that uh... Y'know, nevermind.
