How Does Box Split Work?

To claim, please message me with the item you want to claim! 

After claiming, I will mark you down on the post and message you again when the goods have been ordered for payment and shipping information!

I will only order once there are enough claims, but if I do plan on ordering earlier, I will state so in the post (๑˃ᴗ˂)b

Payment is due within 7 days after I have ordered the goods!

It would be great if you could give me another way of contacting you (Instagram, Discord, email, etc) in case something happens to your account or mine!

Please do not back out on your claim later as it is unfair for other potential joiners for you to take a spot but not follow through. However, if you have to back out, please let me know ASAP! 

I do take backup claim requests if the first claimer has not yet paid. Thus, if you do not pay by the payment deadline, I will give your claim to the backup!

How/When Do I Pay?

Payment is due within 7 days after I’ve ordered the goods!╰(*´︶`*)╯♡ 

I take 3 types of payments: Venmo, Paypal, Mercari, & Depop

Venmo + Paypal are preferred since it's cheaper and easier, but you can still pay over Mercari or Depop for a 10% upcharge

For Venmo + Paypal, I will ask for your Venmo/Paypal username or email and request the total order cost from you

After payment, please give me your address so I can be prepared to ship it out once it arrives! If there are any address changes after payment, please let me know ASAP before I ship it out.

How Does Shipping Work?

After the goods have arrived to me, I’ll ship it out within 1 week and send you the tracking number! However, after I ship the package out, it’s out of my control. All sales are final and there are no refunds! 

US shipping: $5 (tracking included)

Shipping price will not increase if you claim more than 1 item from the same set, unless stated otherwise! 

If you would like to claim from outside the US and are willing to pay for international shipping (usually $12+), message me and I’d be glad to calculate shipping for you!

Due to the recent circumstances, USPS shipping is much slower than before, so please be patient!  (♡˙︶˙♡)

Splits policies

Here are the policies/rules/information about the splits I host, how they work, and everything else you need to know. Feedback is also present. This is the same as my Twitter, so if you have seen this there, it should look familiar ^^;;;.

Hi Everyone :D I'm Elise Grimwald, the owner of this Tumblr page and host of the box splits here. I have hosted many, many splits over two years on Facebook, Depop, and MyFigureCollection. Link to feedback I have received is on the last page.

I primarily host splits for Fate and Danganronpa items, but I also host Pokemon, Code:Realize, Case Files of El-Melloi, Black Butler, Story of Seasons, and Roselia/BanG Dream splits from time to time. If you do not know what a split is, read below. If you do, skip this section, and move on to policies/shipping/payment. The policies/shipping/payment is usually the same, but some splits may be exceptions. I will post a special message/post if it is different.

What is a box split? If you do not know what a box split is, a box split is where someone is interested in buying a box to get one or two items, but doesn't want all the items in the box. The person who wants the box then posts the listing for the rest of the box for sale, and gives a price and date of release for the items. Splits are very often preorders, so users wanting items would be preordering items. The host of the box can choose to ask for immediate payment, or to allow payment upon release. People wanting items from the box contact the host, and the item is reserved. Upon release, the host will contact the user again for payment, and when the item is at the host's house, they will charge for shipping. The user pays shipping, and the host sends the item. This is how it works for the most part. If the host cannot get most of the slots taken, the split is often cancelled. Ex: A host wants host a Pokemon keychain box, and only wants Eevee and Misdreavus, but the box had 6 slots, including Charizard, Pikachu, Squirtle, and Purrloin (cause why not), which comes out in June. The person posts the split, with the slots they want marked off, and a price per item ($6.50) and the date (June). Someone who wants Charizard posts on the original post, and they are marked down. Another person wants Pikachu, and messages the host. (etc). All slots are taken, and the box is ordered. This host doesn't take payment right away, as it is easier on them to get the money later. The Pokemon items come out on time, and the host charges payment. The people interested pay for their items, and the host pays for the box. The box is then sent, and arrives in 2 weeks. The host then messages the people wanting the Pokemon keychains, and they send the shipping. The host then ships the items. This is all the basics of splits, and applies to most of them.

There are exceptions, however. Sometimes, merch is only available from Japanese collab sites, and those require a proxy. Items purchased via proxies usually require upfront payment. I will also require immediate payment if the split is already released.

Payment

I only accept PayPal, and I can either send you the invoice, or you can send the money directly to my PayPal email, through the send money option on PayPal (Goods/Services is standard). I will provide my email by default, but if you want to pay through invoice, please give me your email so I can send you the invoice. Payment is due within 3-5 days of me PMing you. If I do not receive payment within 5 days, I will give your slot to the next person.

I will send you two invoices: One for the item, and one for shipping, through DM. The first invoice will be sent when AmiAmi asks for payment. The second one I will send after the items are at my house, which will be the shipping invoice.

Shipping In the US, shipping starts at $3.00 USD, and covers up to 4 items. If the weight is 5 oz or more, the cost will be a bit more than that. This list from MyfigureCollection is very helpful, and provides the cost of items by weight: https://myfigurecollection.net/list/60000 I also will ship internationally, but it is expensive, something like $9.50 starting price. I only use the USPS, and will ship all orders using USPS first class (US orders only).

Policies: ∙ I can order up to three of each box. No more, sadly. ∙ I will not order a box if there are a lot of open items (I will order a box with 2 slots left typically). If the box is not mostly full, the split will be cancelled. ∙ Slots are given on a first come, first serve basis. Confirms are prioritized over tentative slots, and if you are willing to take unpopular characters to fill a box, you are given top priority.
