I (predictably) lost my shit when I saw that IASIP scene with 'In Your Eyes' as failed mood music while watching it the first time around and it was still one of the funniest bits of the series for me the second time around. It also has ruined the song for me by association, probably forever,

2. Top Gun 1986 or Top Gun Maverick?

This.. is perhaps.. the question of the century... top gun maverick is so special to me (so so so special) and it's arguably a better movie then top gun 1986 (for example TGM actually has a plot... and doesn't overly rely on waxed, oiled up, muscular men to make up for the lack of script,, sigh i could talk about it for hours (as you know.. sorry)) BUT regardless. I like Top Gun 1986 better. She's my lover. like we got take my breath away AND playing with the boys??? ya. top gun 1986.

17. If you had a callsign what would it be?

OH! um. um um.

I know myself well enough to know that if I were actually a pilot.. i would not be cool. cuz in times of crisis.. fight or flight?? no. I'm freezing. I'm doing nothing. I'm letting the plane fall out of the sky into the ocean. so it's very likely that i could get a callsign like "fool" or maybe even something like "spoof" (if people were feeling particularly cruel)

BUT! as u know fentomy (hai irl friend as well as tumblr mutual) i have red hair... (like it's overwhelmingly red..sigh (i'm kidding i'm gorgeous and beautiful and so is my hair)) so there's also a chance I could get a name like "red" or "ginger"

Idk what's crueler tbh.. "ginger" or "fool/spoof" im humiliated.

18. Scene that makes you emotional?

oh oh oh oh OH! um. well. obviously the last scene with Ice in Top Gun Maverick (cried last time I watched it... sigh..) and obviously the Goose scene (Goose! Ah no!)

but there's also something about that one scene where Ice goes up to the CO and says something like "I mean no offence, but is Maverick really the right man for the job?" Something about that gets to me.. maybe it's how you can tell that Ice doesn't want to bring this up. And how hard he's trying to be unbiased about it. How genuinely worried he seems. Like ugh ok val we get it. you can act. stop making me cry.

There's something about admitting that you've fallen out of love with the thing you used to love/admitting you can't do it anymore (literally my biggest fear. like imagine if i fell out of love with art.. what would i do.) (go up in flames i think). Like woah. that's heartbreaking. AND to verbally admit it? putting the safety of not only yourself but others as well?? i'm crying. we need to talk about this scene more please and thank you!
