Please excuse the messiness of this pic, we're trying to get our lives put back together over here. - As I said before, the governor ordered every non-essential worker to stay home to help get Corona under control, which means I'm legally banned from working at my art studio right now. Spooky with some mighty Niagara River rapids, and Canada off in the distance a bit there. . . This ends my Pandemic Birthday trip to Niagara Falls. Probably my weirdest birthday ever (the pandemic, not the falls, I go to the falls all the time) ~ Last week was my 31st birthday (Happy Birthday to me!), But also last week the U.S. and NY State governments began shutting everything down to try and contain the Corona virus (what a weird birthday...), so where do you go to celebrate when you also have to avoid crowds? Niagara Falls. Worst time of the year to go there (I'm a local, I would know), but it wasn't crowded and even if the view isn't as great this time of year, it's still a nice walk,...And I was able to haul a bag of dolls along with me with very few questions. This was our view of the Horseshoe Falls from goat island. Because there's so much mist, that will coat everything in ice, the park fences off part of the walkway during the Winter and they didn't open it up yet.
