Hola humanos! Cómo han llevado estos primeros días del 2021? En lo personal, simplemente me han parecido una extensión del 2020, aunque con un encierro con más entretención debido a los varios proyectos en los que estoy trabajando 😊✌️ . . . I've been trying to finish up this new custom Blythe. Calling her Plinka, not sure if that's actually a name, but that's what I'm going with. I thought I would have her all set for adoption the same week as #customblythePennyPurple except, once again, I managed to scratch her pretty eyelids trying to pop them back into her faceplate (eyelids seem to be the hardest part for me), so there were some delays. I thought I had finished Penny Purple, and was just kind of doing a last look over before taking more photos, but then I started to notice that some of the doll's body had little flecks of black mixed into the plastic. There's nothing wrong with the doll, but I knew I could do a little more painting to fix the spots and make her look even better. Popping in with a late night update on my next customized doll in the works. I think I'm going to call her Penny Purple. ☺I know the lighting is terrible, but this is just a wip shot, partially just taken because I was so amused by how her hair looked right after washing/conditioning it - It stuck straight out. Anyway, her makeup and new eye chips are done, she also got a colorful tattoo on her upper back/neck. I'm obviously styling her hair right now. She still needs beads added to her pull strings, but other than that the doll itself is done. I showed her dress in an earlier post. That still needs some work, and I also have to decide what I'm doing about shoes. I've been asked if anything on my insta is for sale online - Yes! Dolls, clothes, my artwork, and all sorts of other items are available in my Etsy shop and eBay store ( links in my profile) That said, here are the dolls I am currently customizing (they will hopefully be available soon). Face sculpting a doll with harlequin hair. Two dolls that I made outfits for, they're getting custom eyes and new makeup + maybe freckles, body art, and the pink haired one needs eye brows. And then the ICY doll on the right is sort of being turned into a cat. Here's another WIP shot of Clarice. Still working on her eyelids, I think I'm going to give her sleeping eyes, maybe do a little more with her outfit and accessories. AND I've been working on a new WIP custom doll. The complete opposite of Clarice - I've been calling her Cupcake. 😀 She has the same hair as my doll Clara, but I swapped in a normal Takara Blythe body, replaced her chips with ones that I painted, and did a little bit of a gaze correction + I made her whole outfit. I'm going to replace her pull ring with beads that match her hair/outfit, and right now I'm sewing together a purse for her. I decided not to do any face carving this time, so I'm not sure if I should sign her or not. Anyway, I will hopefully have at least one of them available for adoption soon.
