The second fashion story in our first magazine was harder edged. I couldn’t chose between these images so posting all three. The shoot was for our Urban story - at the height of the Sport-Luxe trend. @photosbybam was the photographer and we chose a gritty multi-storey carpark. Image one Lou wearing a nylon cire version of the Utility Coat. Image 2 Tabitha in a version of The Wrap Dress and Pull-on Trouser. My final ‘Escapism’ Spring/Summer 2021 Amanda Wakeley capsule collection. 

I have really loved designing a capsule collection for spring/summer 2021 for Amanda Wakeley. It has been really interesting focusing on the Wakeley Women and understanding the customer.

I have also loved reading about Morocco and including some indigenous craftsmanship from the Berber women, whilst keeping the designs modern,  sophisticated with a touch of Sport luxe, to keep in line with the Wakeley designs. 

To add to the finished line up, I added some accessories and designed my own three hand bags/ clutches to compliments the designs.

Blaze of Glory

To say that I’m obsessed with my white pair of Blaze Chunky sneakers from Rubi would be a gross understatement. At first I was a bit of a label snob and really couldn’t have pictured myself buying a pair of sneakers that weren’t from a major sneaker label but this beauties quickly changed my mind and now I wear them all the time!! I have said this so many times but it’s just true, Rubi makes the cutest on trend yet classic accessories all the time and I wear these babies proudly because I look so damn cute in them! 

For this look I went for a casual, sport luxe kind of feel. I styled up my nifty pair of snakeskin hot pants and paired it with my gorgeous deep orange knit and of course topped off the look with my new Blaze Chunky sneakers. I love how the colours of each piece offset and compliment each other. It’s definitely the kind of look I will be repeating. And the fact that these sneakers make my legs look longer and me taller, I love that!
