823 pop-upも後半になりました

横浜のマリーンアンドウォーク内のlourmarin market and galleryにて行われておりますノマディックサーカス主催　pop-up shop

後半を迎え、いよいよ４月１７日（月曜日）までになりました。 予想外の雨が今年の春は多く、そろそろ桜も散ってしまうかな。桜木町の駅から、マリーンアンドウォークまでの道が、桜の散歩道になっていて、それはそれはとても綺麗でした。まるで鞠のように花の総になった種類や、小さな花、大きな花びらのもの。桜って種類がいろいろあるんですね。車窓から見える桜の木やこの散歩道を通りながらお花見気分を少しでも味わえた日々でした。

さて。作品たちを少し紹介です。

TARUBITWUでは今回春夏に向けてのクリアバッグをデザインしました。 デッドストックの貴重なファブリックやアンティークのネットなど、素材をいつになくこだわり、一点一点の革の表情や色合わせも丁寧にセレクトしたサマーバッグ。 構造を考え素材を合わせて行く過程は繊細で、自分の感覚を問われているような気がします。感覚は時間を追うごとに研ぎ澄ませて行き、目はとても疲労するのだけれど、手は自然に動いていくのが楽しく、逸る衝動に動かされていたような気がします。

pop-upのタイトル通りTARUBITWUの手仕事展である今回は、様々な手仕事の品々やウェディング小物、そして友人のハーブブランドとのコラボレーション。それからセレクトした母の美しい陶器も並べることができました。 アトリエで使う器の多くが母の手によるもので、これまでお客様にはとても喜んでいただいていました。シンプルで形やラインが美しく、食卓がとても映える陶器たち。 また、ドライフラワーのブーケやリースは、長年友人であったメリダリネンアンドハーブスの金子さんに依頼。とてもセンスのいい彼女が作り出すアレンジは、一つお部屋に飾るだけで空間がふわっと変化します。そこへTARUBITWUがリボンやファブリックなどでさらにアレンジを加えたコラボレート。

そしてなくてはならない、今回のもう一人のメインであるsumiko furuta さんのドローイング作品たち。彼女の一枚一枚のドローイングが空間を感じさせ、魅力的な空間を作り出しました。

その他の作家さんや、お菓子たちもどれも本当に魅力的なものたちです。

So I left Etsy...

So, I know I haven't explained why I don't have a website anymore; as you can see on this page I longer have my Etsy website and that it no longer exists. Well that's because I shut it down and will no longer be with Etsy. There's a lot of reasons why but I would like to not disclose that here; plus it would've made this post look like a book and not just a message. But besides that, the main reason is since I got my LLC for this brand, I decide to start from the ground up and have my own website. So for the past couple of weeks I've been designing my website, and making it look the way that I want, so I can finally be running a more professional online clothing store. I'm so excited, and I can't wait to show you all how it looks. I scheduled for it to be open and public by the 18th of this month, however Ive been very sick and haven't been well enough to finish or even do much of any. But I will try and push through, if it's not open by the 18th it will be rescheduled for next weekend. There will be a Grand Opening sale happening when it opens along with some of my new spring/summer clothing line, accessories,and jewelry/containers. I hope you love it when its public. But until then, I'm gonna focus on getting healthier and well rested. Have a lovely spooky day.
