Tiny watercolors from Sunday at SpringCon: Peggy Carter, Toothless, Spider-Woman smooching Captain Marvel (commission for nick-furys-bazooka), Captain Marvel and Batwoman hanging out (commission), science bros in the lab (commission for lunate8, who gives me the best prompts), Steve Rogers in a patriotic tutu (commission for zarhooie), and a teacup wookie. There was also a commission of fem!Captain America and Bucky Barnes holding hands and walking away from an explosion together, but I forgot to get a pic of it. 

SO MUCH PAINTING AT SPRINGCON OMG. I had a fantastic time, and I can't wait for FallCon.

Tiny watercolors from Saturday at SpringCon: Tiny Belcher, Falcon, jaunty Cherno Alpha, Stacker Pentecost and young Mako Mori, Hal Jordan as Green Lantern (commission), Joker (commission), Fenris from Dragon Age (commission - I forgot to get a pic of the finished product before its owner squeed and whisked it away), Wolverine (requested), and a teacup wookie WIP. 

Of these, only Tina, Stacker and Mako, and Wolverine (who seems to have been forgotten by the boy who asked for him) remain. The teacup wookie was claimed by my nemesis before it was even inked. 

I'm currently working on a fem!Steve Rogers/Bucky Barnes commission, a Peggy Carter, and a Toothless, which should all be on my table bright and early tomorrow morning.

I started making these a couple years ago to keep myself from getting bored tabling as a barely-known indie coloring book artist, and now I've got coloring books flying off my table and people keeping me occupied all day with commissions of tiny adorable watercolors. I love my job so damn much.

You GUYS it's May and I have so much going on this month!!  I've been holed up finishing up Rocket Girl #5 and have been meaning to tell you all what's up.  But it feels great to be done with the first arc.  Anyway:

TOMORROW for Free Comic Book Day, I will be signing from 10-11am at Jim Hanley's Universe, and from 4-6pm at Carmine Street Comics.

SUNDAY Brandon and I will be going out to Long Island to sign at Escape Pod Comics at 6pm--they will be celebrating FCBD on Sunday instead!

MAY 17-18 I will be at SpringCon in Minnesota so make sure you stop by!!!!  I'll have all five issues of Rocket Girl.

Rocket Girl #5 comes out MAY 21.  It's the last issue of the arc and it's is SWEET.  Make sure you pick it up!!!  The trade comes out July 9 and we'll be back with issue 6 will in September.

SATURDAY MAY 24 I'll be signing RG #5 at I Want More Comics in Colorado, from 3-5pm.  PLEASE NOTE: I will not be going to Denver Comic Con this year, so if you want your stuff signed, you're gonna have to book it that Saturday!  We'll try to have extras of all the issues.  Keep in mind this is Memorial Day Weekend.

Hey, Minnesotans!

Are you going to SpringCon this weekend? If you are, you should stop by my table and say hi! (And if you aren't, you should check it out, because SpringCon is awesome - the whole State Fair grandstand is filled with comics and creators, and it's only $12 for a day pass!)

and prints of Nick Fury in a Flower Crown

And a bunch of tiny fanart watercolors, which I'll be making all weekend!

These are just the leftovers from previous cons. I have plans for Winter Soldier and Pacific Rim watercolors this time - and I do take requests! :)

Hey guys, for those who don't know- Springcon is this weekend!  If you're in the area, come stop by the Minnesota State Fair grounds and say hi!  I'll be selling copies of all my minis, stickers (including the new Doctor Who/Pokemon mashup), as well as a few prints.  And if that's not enough incentive, I'll be sitting with two lovely and talented ladies- Leigh Luna and Liz Glein!  It's gonna be awesome, hope to see some of you there :D

Siamese Book II: Sic Frater Hostium, (my brother the enemy) will be at Springcon this year. Lucas and I will be selling our books as usual, but this time my Sister, being the wonderful Illustrator that she is, will be tabling with us as well.

Our table will also be promoting the TC3 collective of which we're apart of, a group that was formed right after last year's FallCon. Expect to see the entire collective nearby!

We've been looking forward to this particular Springcon for quite some time now, so come on by, Book II is now available!
