The Apartments at 190 (Maxis Match Apartments for Pleasantview’s Condo District)

So you have a surplus of sims, you want an option besides the flophouse? Presenting the Apartments at 190 Main Street. Technically its on Middle Lane, but don’t let facts get in the way of a good story, or good real estate marketting.  Five apartments ranging from <§1000 to more than §3000, from Studios to 3-beds. Honestly was designed for the SSU grads but honestly could work for anyone? The range of properties is large enough. All apartments are furnished. It’s also a corner lot, because I know everyone loves them. More pics below the cut. Download via (SFS)

Clean Template: Belladonna Cove with Townies

I love using clean templates, but I've never been able to find the EP neighbourhoods with all the Maxis townies. I went through the tedious process of re-adding them to the game and I'm sharing it with you today!

Huge thank you to meetmetotheriver for their amazing clean templates. I have used the Belladonna Cove template, found here.

Information

All I have done is add the townies back into the hood. I followed the instructions found here to extract the Sims' appearance, clone them in BodyShop and recreate their personalities in CAS. They do not retain their original data from the vanilla game, so no corruption. Yay!

I have copied all of their information over using their pages on the Sims Fandom. There's a couple of exceptions to this, however. Townie children and one adult named Shannon Todd have missing data. Their interests and other information are randomized when you load the game.

Details including personality, careers, badges and interests for teens and above are all intact, but I have changed some LTWs in favour of more logical ones (because a Sim employed in the Culinary career wouldn't want to become a Criminal Mastermind, right?). If this really bothers you, you can use the Sim Blender to change it back to the original.

Please note that this is the townie version only. I couldn't find a way to copy service Sims from the vanilla game to the clean template version. Maids, nannies, landlords etc will be randomly generated as you play. I couldn't find a way around this, but if anyone has any insight into this, feel free to message me and I will update the download to include named NPC's.

Recommended Mods

For the full experience, I highly recommending using Cyjon's 'Townie Apartment Residents' mod for this neighbourhood. You can find it here. Instead of townies randomly generating and being placed into the apartments, the game will choose from the named Maxis townies instead.

Consider testing this mod first. I have had to make this file load last in order to work.

As always, if you notice any issues, please let me know and I will post a re-uploaded version!

Word of Warning

This will replace the Belladonna Cove already in your game. To install, make sure you delete the E001 file before placing this version into the Neighbourhoods folder. Do not allow it to replace the file!

Make your own UberHood with all the townies!

Yes! You!  At this stage, to my knowledge, you can only do this the lazy way when creating an Uberhood new, from scratch. It may well be possible - but IDK. The ancestors... well thats a hard job which I dont think anyone wants to tackle. Not all of these subhoods add the NPCs, but most do. Its hit and miss. But thats part of the fun I guess!

Base Game

Pleasantview This is easy, meetme already did the work for us. Thanks Komei, Goopy, I guess you were too iconic. Their Simblr Here.

Strangetown Sunrader has subhoodified Dorsal Axe’s Fixed Strangetown. Dorsal Axe’s is a dream for purists who merely wish to not borkify their games. Find Sunrader’s Website here. 

Veronaville

Once again, Sunrader comes to the rescue. They used A technique of their own invention to extract Townies and NPCs, added them to MeetMe’s template, and then converted to a subhood. Once again, their website is here.

University

Introducing ZachJohnUnlimited on MTS. While he has gone through the process of adding Townies and NPCs to MeetMe’s Bluewater Village, Riverblossom Hills and Desiderata Valley using CAS, this is their work from scratch, and includes all of the Dormies plus extra lore.  Find Sim State University, La Fiesta Tech and Academie Le Tour on their MTS Post here.

Downtown Did you know all the Downtownies were made in CAS? I didn’t. Yes, that includes Joy Despret Lakshmi Byall. Find them on Meetme’s Livejournal, the place which started this all.

Belladonna Cove I did the work of converting TheNeonPlumb’s CAS work myself. Get the deetz on that thread. This and Downtown are the only ones with no NPCs. Get it from my Simblr here. 

Bon Voyage

I don’t think there are clean templates. Can someone let me know if there is one? Twikkii Island and especially Takemizu Village are diabolical. Three Lakes gets a pass (a mountain pass, hahaha). Just use the ones that ship with the game, god. Unrelated, ProfesionalPartyGuest has done a good job at making Locals which are less terrible. click on the hood names earlier to find em.

Thanks to @knut-rocketman who helped me with putting this list together over discord when I was off my face on Vertigo medication (I made my game into a BFBVS several times). Jawusa’s empty hoods might also be of use.

THE MISSING SIMS FROM 1 and 4 (Custom Stealth Hood)

This has been a long time in the works. @profesionalpartyguest​ has probably stopped talking to me over it; @justwierzba​ has probably forgotten about it (and me); and @knut-rocketman​ has probably stopped caring about it, if they ever did.

This is a custom Stealth hood, with some townies, and a lot of ancestors, containing sims from The Sims, and The Sims 4. It also has lots for 7/9 families, including the families which you care about the most. For myself I call it Caldera Lessaules.

From Neighborhood 1 we have the Roomies (bless their sapphic souls). From Old Town we have Claire Charming, and the Hicks. We also have the Snooty Patooties, because they’re iconic and someone had a headcanon.

From The Sims 4 we introduce 3 families from my Willow Creek - Pancakes, BFFs, and Spencer-Kim-Lewis - including the all important Lydia Spencer (she’s a townie). Also say hi to the Sims 4 Roomies (the New Girl spoofs), the only original family in Oasis Springs (unless you count Johnny Zest, but he’s all tied up with the Landgraabs). We also have the Harris family from Eco Living Newcrest Harbour whatever that pack and town are called.

But don’t just think I’ve left you with families with nowhere to live, there's lots too!

The Pancakes, BFFs, SKLs, and Sims 4 Roomies have the strict recreations-within-limitations - without CC - you know and love from Willow Creek. The Cacti Casa is a new recreation for this hood, the others are cleaned exports from Willow Creek.

For the Sim Lane Roomies, say hello to my labour of love ✨inspired✨ recreation of 10 Sim Lane. It has Foundations! The floor and wall coverings are close calls to the original. Claire Charming and the Hicks have their houses also recreated with Foundations. I found all three Sims 1 recreations really fun to build, and I love how their energies have translated across, especially for the Hicks’ Trailer and 10 Sim Lane. There is also an additional variant of Claire’s House I made for personal reasons.

The Snooty Patooties and the Harris family’s houses haven't been recreated - the latter because I don’t actually own the EP, the former because I would have to base it off of Marka93’s as I have no clue how to get the Downloadable Sims into my Sims 1 game. Besides, they’re added extras, just slip them into your Main Hood, Viper Canyon, Downtown, Bin Lots, it's up to your imagination! Feel free to export the lots and plop them in your main hoods, or just delete the subhood, its fine, I guess…

I hope you enjoy this labour of hate and love. Its an essential ingredient in my own Uberhoods. I genuinely miss these sims - especially the Sims 1 ones - so much in my games otherwise.

Special Thanks :

This version of “Caldera Lessaules” is officially a testing version, however nothing core is expected to change. That said, make a backup before adding it to your game. I am not responsible if your savefile becomes a BFBVFS and you don't have a backup. I may decide to add or tweak things in the hood, like ancestors, additional townies, etc, or roll-out fixes if people find errors which I haven’t picked up, but please do not hold off downloading if this is something which you'd think you'd love!

The creators mentioned in the first paragraph made most of the ancestors between them. ProfesionalPartyGuest also made the Harrises. Without them my hood would be ancestorless, which depending on if you care about Character File Count, is a good or a bad thing.

Bar GAY - a Gay Club for your Downtown!

Hi Guys!

A Downtown Gay Club for all your sims - gay, bi, lesbian. Built with the VisitorController in mind. Ban the Straights! I am playing with Story Progression and ACR in an Uberhood so a venue like this is really important for my queer/lgbt+ sims (well not the trans sims but you get the picture). Its so refreshing not to have to rely on the matchmaker to get sims who your sims truly like! Especially cool for your queer simmies with the romance popularity and pleasure aspirations (especially Romance). #CCFree too btw. Be Gay, Do Crime (Public Woohoo). Download Bar Gay at SFS.

Bluewater Village but the Mesa has Roads on it

Hi besties xoxo You have a camera mod right? OK so, catch this, Bluewater Village (the Bitchin Ass Shopping District which shipped with OfB), it has this hill with loads of flat land on it looking over the town. In a vanilla game it is mostly out of camera shot, but as we have established you already have a camera mod so this doesnt apply to u. I opened up SimCity 4 and added roads in myself, because I’m cool like that. You can get the SC4 off my SFS. You can also get a neighbourhood file which you can use as a basis for a hood or HoodReplace with. It comes with extra deco on the hills, and if you want it, it flattens out the road where Malcolm lives. This feature isnt in teh SC4 bc I was lazy, i just used modifyneighborhoodterrain. Goodnight. Hi Everyone, Over the past 2 or so years I've become quite the prolific creator. I thought it was time to compile a list of all my resources I have made publicly available on ModTheSims, my SimFileShare, and on MediaFire. In Total I have 16 downloads - 3 bodyshop items (technically more but they are either incompatible or part of sets), 3 hoods plus one Subhood Conversions, 5 lot sets, 2 Names Mods (one Serious, one Less-so), and 3 SC4 terrains.
