N: is there a fic you wish someone else would write (or finish) for you?

mmm, not particularly -- i get kinda possessive of any ideas i have, they’re mine, i have to write them, no one else gets them, they’re MINE

P: are you what George R. R. Martin would call an “architect” or a “gardener”? (how much do you plan in advance, versus letting the story unfold as you go?)

i plan almost nothing in advance. when i try to plan in advance, things go poorly. for multichapter fics i usually have the bare basic plot points figured out before i start writing, but even those can change sometimes. outlines? what are they

T: any fandom tropes you can’t stand?

i mean there aren’t any i can’t STAND. i’m not into poly stuff and i don’t generally enjoy AUs (with a few, very recent exceptions), but that’s just personal preference. there’s some actual writing cliches/tropes/issues that seriously bug me, but nothing specific to fanfiction.

all right buckle up folks

#1 favorite widojest author of all time is jade aka @jadesabre301 who is just...a damn good writer. she just knows what she’s doing, folks. one day she will have time to write again and on that day i will run screaming into the streets with joy.

next up we have smoke aka @smokeandjollyranchers who has a cruel and twisted mind just like me and regularly stabs me in the heart with feelings-knives. i consider myself in an open rivalry with her over which of us can emotionally devastate the other the worst. i will have the last word.

lastly a new favorite, ladyofpurple aka @ladyofpurple whose burlesque AU singlehandedly converted me to the “giving AUs a chance” train this weekend. she is a master wordsmith and i look forward to reading much much more from her
